REPAIR TO ROAD, PATH, KERB STONE, ROADSIDE FURNITURE AND ALLIED WORKS AT CERTAIN LOCATIONS UNDER AOR OF AGE B/R-1 OF GE (AF) SUBROTO PARK, DELHI CANTT-10

Material and Labour for Milling of existing asphaltic road surface upto 50 mm with asphaltic milling machine sensor paver and removal of loose material outside the defence premises on discretion of contractor complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt, etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 Kg/ 10 Sqm on black top surface using paving bitumen VG-10, complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm (consolidated thickness) using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, mixed in Computerised Hot Mix Plant and spread by means of Self Propelled Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using mechanical power road roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The mix design shall be done from approved lab and will be approved from GE before commencement of work. (ii) In the event of variation in the mix design in the percentage of binder content on minus side, the difference in quantity of binder content will be adjusted through supply only rate of Rs 50.00 per Kg of grade VG-30 bitumen. However, no adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used/approved in the execution of work under this item.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam using binder paving bitumen (VG-30) @ 4.0% by weight of total mix, mixed in automatic hot mix plant with design mix and laid by using self-propelled mechanical paver, consolidated thickness not more than 75mm, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to achieve uniform smooth surface etc complete all as specified & directed. Note:-(i) In the event of increase in percentage of binder content as per job mix formula, nothing extra shall be admissible and quoted rate are deemed to include for the same. However, in case bitumen requirement is less than 4.0% same shall be regularized as per actual mix design with minus adjustment of less bitumen @ Rs.50.00 per Kg. (ii) Contractor shall provide bitumen extraction apparatus along with benzene and other requisite material at site to determine the bitumen content without any extra cost. (iii) The mix design shall be done from approved lab and will be approved from GE before commencement of work.

Material and Labour for preparing of old/ new black top road surfaces and applying one coat of retro reflective thermoplastic road marking paint with thickness as per (IRC-35 : 1997) , 10 to 15 cm wide for longer durability. Paint material shall be confirming to MORTH (Ministry of road transport and Highways) specification 803.4, vol-III as laid down in the Specification for road and bridge work (latest revision) complete all as specified and as directed by Enginner-in-charge.

Material & Labour for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fixing in repair Solar cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to IP-65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono crystalline solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & Fixing in repair Cat eye solar reflective type of alloy metal body of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA strip lens reflector, fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & Fixing in repair speed bump (speed breaker) made of heavy duty ABS with high resistance wear & tear property, US stabilized black and yellow coloured, high reflective reflector having length 500mm width 400 mm and height 75 mm coloured fixed on ground with necessary bolts as recommended by manufacturer and filled with and including PCC 1:2:4 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) on hollow space of speed bump, complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and fixing ABC plastic convex mirror suitable for road safety at blind road corners with mirror minimum thickness 5 mm and size of mirror 800mm dia made of polycarbonate material with circular in shape, mirror angle should be 130 degree, with canopy of orange colour, with all fitting pipe accessories (fitting pipe length is 80 inch, fitting pipe dia 5 inch, fitting pipe material of mild steel) complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and fixing mild steel powder coated road delineators of cylindrical shape, with light source of LED with solar panel having protective steel mesh, of height about 1051-1100mm having body base diameter of 90mm, complete all as specified & directed.

Demolition of plain cement/Asphaltic concrete in ground floors n. exc. 15 cm in thickness (below or above GL) unreinforced and removing debris outside of MoD land, complete all as specified & directed.

Material and Labour for 75 mm thick PCC (Plain Cement concrete) type D- 2, 1:4:8 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub-base of floors and paving, etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour in repair for 60 mm thick, M-35 grade machine pressed precast interlocking concrete coloured (Red/yellow) paver block with grey cement and pigment as approved confirming to IS 15658-2006 complete all as specified & directed.

Material and Labour for Sand filling under floors or in foundation including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Chequered cement concrete coloured tiles of size 20cmx20cmx25mm thick with grey pigment cement and pigments as in floors etc, set, jointed & pointed with neat cement slurry over and including 15mm thick bedding layer of cement sand mortar (1:6) including taking down old tiles complete all as specified & directed.

Material and Labour for precast cement concrete type B-1(1:2:4) (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in kerb stone, with plain fair faces, including chamfers, weatherings, throat-ing etc. and setting in Cement mortar (1:4) with joints to match, complete all as specified & directed.

Material and Labour for two coats of synthetic enamel paint on concrete surfaces in different tint of any description over 10cm width or girth not otherwise described, over a coat of primer including preparation of new surfaces, complete all as specified & directed.

Material and Labour for fabrication and erecting of sign board of size 1200 mm x 800 mm (size of ACP) erection in position including taking down old one as directed and adopting the following specifications / measurements: (a) Main Post 2 Nos of stainless steel pipe 50 mm dia & 1.5 mm wall thickness of grade 316, each post of length 2.00 metre (1.70 metre above GL and 0.30 metre below GL). (b) Frame around ACP, fabricated with 25 mm size stainless steel square tube with 1.5 mm wall thickness including fixing arrangement for ACP and welded on main post. (c) 2 Nos aluminium composite panel 3 mm thick (each of size 1200 mm x 800 mm) in non metallic colour of approved shades consisting of 2 mm thick mineral core sandwiched between two Aluminium sheets (each 0.5 mm thick). The aluminium composite panel sheet shall be coil coated, with Kynar 500 based PVDF / Lumiflon based fluoropolymer resin coating or equivalent, of approved colour and shade on exposed face and polymer (Service) coating on other face, fixed over SS frame mention at Sl No (b) above complete all per manufacturer's instruction & as directed. (d) Providing on Exposed face each ACP sheet, High intensity prismatic grade retro reflective sheeting as base and with cut out massage (legends borders, letters numerals, site map etc, as per design and pattern approved) with high intensity prismatic grade reflective sheeting, pasting as per manufacturers instruction. Make of sheet shall be 3M ,series 3930 or equivalent make approved by the GE. (e) Excavating 2 Nos post hole of size 300 mm x 300 mm x 450 mm in soft loose soil and fixing of main post and filled with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone grade, removing surplus soil to distance not exc 50 metre and site clearance as per site requirement and satisfaction of GE complete all as specified and directed .

Preparation of old painted concrete surfaces /brickwork surface of any description over 10cm in width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint, complete all as specified and directed
