Soil Investigation at KV School Sector 31 & 3BRD (AF) Chandigarh under GE (AF) MC Chandigarh as per the details given below:- (i) Mobilization of mechenical drilling equipment and shifting of entire arragement as required by GE. (ii) Boring 150mm dia two bore holes upto 08 meter depth from GL though following state (a) Any type of soil (b) Soft rock (c) Hard rock (iii) Determination and submission of soil investigation report in quadruplicate and Photograph of each bore hole as per NBC, IS - 1962, 2121, 2132, 1888, 1904, 6403, 8009, 1498 and SP-36 in general and containing the following particular :- (a) Depth of bore holes may be taken 8:00m (RCC framed bldgs in single storey with foundation depth upto 2.00m. (b) SPT Valve at every 1m intervals and change of strata. (C) Grain size distribution and anaysis. (d) Soil characteristics. (e) Valve of cohesion and angle of internal friction. (f) Recommended SBC at different depths of foudation. (g) SBC and its calculation bassed on N value, shear strength and settlement criteria. (h) Depth of water lable (Maximum and Minimum). (j) Depth of expensive soil and its properties, if any. (k) Recommendation for type of foundation inch spl structure like OHR (l) Recommendation for each filling with its C&C valve under floors and filling under protection including plinth protection. (m) Chemical analysis of soil and recommendation and type of cement to be used for RCC foundation.

(n) Details of soil profile and bore legs, collection of disturbed/undisturbed soil analysis and their complete job testing. (o) Any other recommendation, depth of foundation and type of foundation TESTING AND REPORTING following parameters will also form Part of the Grep-Exploration report be submitted by the soil consultants:-(i) RL of the ground level/foundation level with rep of to a BM should be invariable be submitted by in the soil investigation report. (ii) Recommended SBC should be given for :- (a) All the bore holes (b) Minimum at three depth via 1.5m, 2.00 x 3.00m (c) SBC should be worked out for following sizes of footing :- (i) 1.50m x 1.50m (ii) 1.50 x 2.50m (iii) 2.00 x 3.00m(d) Photographic record of geo exploration as well as testiffng shall also from part of the report. (e) Recommendation as regards possibility of equitation of soil in case of saturated of pratially saturated loose/uncompacted sandy soils. (f) Swelling index and swelling pressure in respect of black cotton soil and its depth/layer. Each job 8.00. (g) Depth of ground water table (GWT) in peak mansoon (lowest) and summer (highest) after correlatkon of result with seasonal variation water table in the station. (h) Showing all existing features true to their position surrounding buildings, drains sewer/water supply lines and poles, position of man height of inaccessible structure like HT lines culverts and heights of boundary wall ets.

Prepation of submission architectural drawings, detailed structural drawing i.e plans sections, elevations, internal structural design and drgs including vetting from NIT/Govt Engg College/NITTR including electrification drawings, joinery details, flooring & Sch of finishes etc in separate folders for each site as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Details are as follows:- (i) KV 3BRD Chandigarh : One vocational lab of area 81.40 Sqm in the existing lawn. (ii) KV Sector 31 Chd - One Vocational lab of area 81.40 Sqm over stilt to join with the corridor of the existing school bldg.
