REPAIRS AND RESURFACING OF ROAD INSIDE OTM ACCN AREA UNDER AGE BR-I OF GE (CENTRAL) BANGALORE

M&L for repairs to pot holes any depth not exc 1.00 sqm each in area including sweeping from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth but making good by applying tack coat & 5kg per 10 Sqm (using paving bitumen), putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30mm complete all as directed.

M&L for applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1 Grade) confirming to IS 8887 @ 3kg per 10Sqm using emulsion pressure distributor on the prepared bituminous / granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom and as per clause 503 of MORTH specifications complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for labour for premix bituminous macadam with minimum 40-60 TPH batch HMP using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with VG-30 bituminous binder @ 4% by weight of total mix and cement as a filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finished to the required grade, level and alighnment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tindem roller to achieve the dezire compaction as per MORTH specification clause no 505 complete in all respects, (Avg thickness shall not exe 75mm deep) etc. Complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as directed.

M&L Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete, 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (VG-30 Paving bitumen) by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant, rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as directed.

Preparation of new or previously treaterd surfaces to receive the thermoplastic paste and making of guide lines, dashed arrows, letters, etc. with reflective thermoplastic paste 2 to 2.5 mm thick using marking machine, white, golden, yellow or black colour as required using glass beads necessary for adhieving reflection on roads, pavements, and the like as per BS 6088 complete all as directed and specified all as per IRC 35-2015 complete all as directed by Engineer in Charge. Make :- Metro Road Sysytem/ Shivalik/ Asian Note:- 1. Unit rate quoted by the contractor include for provision of red signals to keep off traffic from work. cleaning road surface and workinf during odd hours when traffic is light. 2. The line marking shall stand out boldly and solidly without showing any signs of scratch marks or surfaces underneath, if necessary the surface shall be remarked after removal of existing treatment until the desired result is obtain.

S & F of solar road studs made of aluminium alloy (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (Shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono crystaline solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as directed. S & F cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mmx100mmx20mm with PAMA strip lens reflector of model No DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS studs of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as directed. Make : Cat part No art AME 1019 of M/S automat road safety Pvt Ltd or equivalent of dark eye/ Sun eyes/ M/S Texla plastic & metal Pvt Ltd.

Preparation of New, or previously treated surfaces over the kerb stone surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer over 10cm width or girth complete all as directed.
