M & L for applying Smartcare Dampproof, a fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane formulated with reinforcing acrylic fibers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on top of roof surface in multiple coats @2 litre/sqm. Primary coat is self-priming coat of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1) and other coats needs to be applied undiluted. The coating needs to be reinforced with 40 GSM geotextile, to sandwiched between 2nd & 3rd coat of coating. The application shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes, complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. When the 2nd coat is wet, the Smartcare EPDM tape (at corners and edges)shall be inserted between second and third coat to secure corners & edges, let the material ooze out from the tapes corner. Same treatment of Smartcare Dampproof shall be continued to the parapet walls to better envelope the whole area. The coating shall be terminated carefully to the other side of the parapet wall.

M&L for APP based polymeric membrane plain finish minimum weighting 3 kg/Sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non wove fabric (wt not less than 150 gms/sqm) over one coat of 85/25 bitumen @1.2 kg/sqm and paste the membrane with torching method and again apply a coat of 85/25 bitumen @ 1.2 kg/sqm at overlapping joints upto G+5 storey bldg complete all as specified.

M&L for applying two coat of silver Shield BITUMINIOUS paint on app membrane complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Disconnecting existing water tanks, setting aside (or lowering if required) for cleaning,repairing and removing all scale and dirt, etc. from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes and reconnecting and refixing in position for tanks capacity exc 500 and n.exc 1000 ltr complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

The disturbed area shall be repaired with PCC (1:2:4) Type B0 mix and surface finished even and smooth in cm 1:4 incl applying two coats of matching finish i.e. Building is not less than 50 nos complete all as specified and directed at site

Checking electrical points for continuous electric supply system and replacement of unserviceable spares for all electrical fixtures, ceiling/exhaust fans of any size and capacity and carrying out minor repairs, fixing screws, tightening of loose wires, any type renewal of small pieces of electric wire upto 1.00 mtr length and maintenance work complete on all working days including holidays all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Attending to Geyser complaints at site including checking and rectification of any electric fault/ water leakage and making good in all respects including minor repairs, replacement of unserviceable spares, burnt copper wire connections wherever required and repairing any type of switch, socket, plug top etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes for Item No. 74 & 75 (a) Supply only spares shall be measured and paid under relevant item of Sch 'A'/ BOQ (b) Contractors are advised to visit the sites before quoting their rates.
