Pre-despatch Inspection shall be carried out before dispatch by Railway Empanelled Third Party Inspection (TPI) Agency (such as RITES etc.) at Railway's discretion as per IRS conditions of contract. Mandatory BEE authorization and applicable Star Label verification must be ensured during inspection in compliance to RITES letter RITES/QA/NRIO/TR/01 dated 05.02.2026.

The firm shall provide one week training to the Power House staff regarding operation, maintenance and safety aspects of the transformer.

The firm shall provide necessary fitting items (lugs, pg clamp etc.)

In order to install and commission the new 05 MVA transformer in the yard, the firm should shift the existing 05 MVA transformer (old) with proper handling at per site condition.

The firm shall ensure all control wiring/connections from the new transformer( in the yard) to the control room panel and shall carry out operation, testing, and commissioning of the transformer in conjunction with the existing VCB and CT.

Foundation work shall be carried by the firm if required.

The warranty shall be five years from OEM from date of successful commissioning.

EMD condition: All bidder who are exempted to submit EMD as per Clause 3.1.1 of Section-I of NWR Tender document, are required to sign Bid Security Declaration as mentioned in clause 3.1.5. Submission of offer by such exempted bidders will be considered that they have signed the above bid security declaration. Bidders who are not exempted to submit EMD and bidders who are under disqualification for EMD exemption, are mandatory required to submit EMD (online) as mentioned in Tender NIT.

SD Condition: Security deposit will be applicable as Clause 12 of Section-II of NWR tender conditions.
