REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY GI/DI/CI LINES, CONTROL VALVES, PUMPS, MOTORS, CLEANING OF OHT/UG SUMP AND ALLIED E/M WORKS AT MIL STN BHUSAWAL UNDER GE (S) AHILYANAGAR

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains or laying of pipe/cables or for shafts, wells cesspits, man holes etc not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.50m in depth, in any kind of soil, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling, in soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up or down unserviceable CI/DI water mains 150 mm bore including all fittings complete from trenches complete all as specified and as directed

Taking up or down unserviceable CI/DI water mains 200 mm bore including all fittings complete from trenches complete all as specified and as directed

Supply, laying, jointing and testing in replacement ductile iron pipes of 150 mm bore with spigot and socket ends, centrifugally cast, class-K9, conforming to IS 8329 in any length, laid in trenches/ pipe support etc, pressure testing after laying complete as per IS- 12288 including styrene butadiene rubber gasket joints complete including provision of thrust block in RCC M20 (as per design approved by GE at site) wherever there is change in direction of the pipe line (at bends/ Tee etc) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes :- 1) Tyton joints required are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. 2) The contractor shall execute the work without disturbing the existing pipe line. Old U/S pipe line shall be removed by the contractor after successful execution of work. 3) Due care shall be taken by the contractor to avoid disruption of existing electric / water / tele communication lines. Please note that any damage caused shall be made good by the contractor at his own cost. 4) Road cutting work including refilling with BM and tapping to pipeline as required at site are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. 5) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of the cost of thrust block wherever required.

S&F in replacement for CI / DI fittings and specials such as Bends (any type, radius and angle), Tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc.), Tee pieces, single branch, "Y" junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot), Collars, Caps, Plugs, Connecting pieces one end flanged and other end socketed or spigot ends or all socketed / spigot ends etc, suitable for 80 mm to 200 mm bore pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F steel water tubing, galvanised, 50 mm bore, medium grade in any length, including necessary fittings, fixed complete to wall and ceiling or laid in trench, floors etc including jointing, testing and connections including taking down old rusted and unserviceable GI water tubing complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation and earth work shall be measured separately.
