(a) PREPARATION OF SURFACES: Removing loose and spalling concrete from ceiling of RCC slabs by chiselling/ picking upto a depth of 50mm with chisel hammer without impact on concrete and cleaning the exposed reinforcement with wire brush and sand blasting the surface using river sand with minimum of 6 kg pressure at the nozzle end by mechanical compressor including all scaffolding, machinery, tools tackles and men materials including removing the debris upto a distance of 50m (b) GROUTING: Drilling of 12 mm dia holes and fixing of 8 mm PVC nozzle. Grouting the nozzle with cement mixed with Fosroc CEBEX 100 Expanding grout mix until rejection with 4 kg pressure pump. (c) TREATMENT TO EXISTING REINFORCEMENT: Cleaning the Reinforcement with Fosroc Rebakleens RR rust remover and applying Fosroc Nitoptime Zinc Rich Primer to the existing Reinforcement. (d) FIXING OF REINFORCEMENT: Drilling of 8 mm dia and fixing of 8 mm dia with Fosroc Lokfix epoxy resin @ 150 mm c/c both ways. (e) FIXING OF WELD MESH : Mild steel weld mesh of size 100 mm x 100 mm x 3 mm shall be fixed with shear connectors of depth 75 mm. (e) SHOTCRETING: (i) Before carrying out shotcreting, the prepared concrete surface shall be suitably wetted with Fosroc Nitobond SBR LATEX mixed with cement as a bond coat. (ii) Carrying out Shotcreting with mix proportion of Cement: 1 Part - Sand: 3 Parts - Aggregates: 1 Part and Reliance Recron Polypropylene fibers : 125 gms per bag of cement to form a thickness on an average 50 mm. M&L for powder coated aluminium door/ window/ ventilator frames and shutters, openable/ sliding/ fixed type, with minimum 50 micron thick powder coating with extruded built-up standard powder coated aluminium tubular sections of approved make confirming to IS:733 and IS: 1285 including provision of EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket as required, cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing/ panelling, CP brass/ stainless steel screws, etc. fixed with dash fasteners of suitable size, including complete all as specified and as directed.
