CIVIL WORK

Clean removal of damaged cement plastered surface and clearing away as directed by the departmental officers.

Dismantling AC sheet / FRP sheet roofing without roof timber and clearing away and carefully stacking materials useful for re-use as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and roofing with ASBESTOS CEMENT CORRUGATED SHEETS including fixing of ridges, cost of U’ or J’ bolts nuts, bitumen and G.I. washers and cutting the sheet to the required size if necessary and white washing the inner side of the AC sheet etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the Corporation officers.

Supplying and laying of High profile colour galvalume sheet (as per ISI Standard) with combination 55A1:43 4Zn:1:6SI of TCT bent type 0.47mm thick not less than 150 GSM and standard width of 1.06m with yield strength of 550 MPA made from high tensile/ CR sheets of approved quality for roofing with necessary fixing arrangements like 65m and long hexagonal head screws with EPDM rubber seal etc., complete, complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officer. (Test certificate for quality should be furnished on receipt of material at site)

Supplying and fixing of 40 X 6mm G.I Flat over the galvalume sheet roofing which is placed on the top of Purlin in the longitudinal direction to avoid the lifting of roofing during heavy wind. The rate is inclusive of GI screws 75mm length with rubber and aluminium washer, drilling hole over GI Flat to hold the sheet and purlin with necessary adhesive flashing tap directly over the galvalume sheet including labour charges for fixing, conveyance, loading, unloading and cutting etc. complete as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and fixing corrugated Poly Carbonate sheet of size 3mx1.06m of 3mm thick on the roof in-between the colour coated Galvalume sheets for proper lighting with necessary G.I screws and EPDM rubber washers, including cost of loading, unloading and transportion charges etc., Complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Earth work excavation for foundation in all classes of soils and sub-soils and to full depth as may be directed except in hard rock requiring blasting including initial leads and lifts and refilling the sides of foundation with excavated earth in 150 mm layers well watered, rammed and consolidated including depositing surplus earth within the godown or inside compound in places shown with initial lead of 10 mts and initial lift of 2 mts. Clearing, leveling the site, shoring, strutting, bailing of water wherever necessary etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed.

CEMENT CONCRETE 1:5:10(one cement, five sand and ten aggregate)using 40mm gauge hard broken granite stone jelly for foundation including mixing by mechanical means de-watering side shuttering , strutting, wherever necessary including curing etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed.

Providing and laying in position, Standardised Concrete Mix M20 Grade in accordance with IS:456-200 using 20mm and down graded hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC items of works with minimum cement content of 325 kg/M3 and mazimum water cement ratio of 0.55, including admixture (Plasticiser / super plasticiser) in recommended proportions as per IS:9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improvement workability without impairing strength and durability with about (5 Cu.m) 7730 Kg of 20mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (3.3 Cum)5156 kg of 0-12mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (4.7 Cum) 7670 kg of sand, but excluding cost of reinforcement gril and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering and also including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrators, finishing, cutting etc., and Providing fixtures like fan clams in the RCC floor/ roof slabs wherever necessary without claiming extra etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed the departmental officers. The coarse and five aggregates to be used should comply with the requirements of 15 Standards. (No separate payment will be made by the Department for the excess usage of materials. In foundation and basement.

In Ground floor upto 4.50M height above basement

Supplying, fabricating and placing in position MS/RTS grills for reinforcement for all R.C.C.works including cost of steel, labour for straightening, bending, cranking, tying grills with 18 gauge galvanized binding wire and placing grills in position complete complying with standard specification and as directed.

Providing FORM WORK for centering the soffits of all reinforcement concrete work including strutting to the required (3 metre) height with mild steel sheets of size 90cm x60cm 10gauge stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25mm x 25mm x 3mm laid with country wood joist of average of size 10cm x 6.50cm at about 90cm centers with casuarinas props of 13cm dia at 75cm centre to centre with all nails coir, wedges complete and removing the form work after necessary curing period as directed by the corporation officers. The rates should inclusive of cutting, bending, welding charges of M.S.sheets; M.S. angles etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed. Column footing, Plinth beam and top tie beam.

BRICK WORK in cement mortor 1:6(one cement, six sand) using best quality Country bricks of size 8 3/4"x 4 ¼” x 2 ¾” for walls including cost of scaffolding curing, finishing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. In Ground floor upto 4.50M height above basement.

PLASTERING with cement mortor 1:3 (one cement and three sand) 10mm thick including cost of scaffolding, finishing, curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

PLASTERING with cement mortor 1:5 (one cement and five sand) 12mm thick including cost of scaffolding, finishing, curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

White washing one coat with best shell lime including cost of shell lime, gum, kanjee and brushes etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed.

COLOUR WASHING two coats using best shell lime including cost of gum, Kanjee, colouring pigment brushes etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Painting the walls with two coats ready mixed exterior emulsion paint of first class approved quality and colour over a priming coat including thorough scrapping, clean removal of dirt, and including necessary plaster of paris putty, wherever required etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed.

Painting old iron work with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved quality and colour. The rate is inclusive of cost of all materials, labour charges, brushes and scaffolding charges etc. complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers. (The paint should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works)

Supplying and fixing in position Indian Water Closet (Oriya type) of size 580 x 440mm white glazed earthern ware of approved quality and brand with "P" or "S" trap conforming to BIS with sand cushion and forming flooring alround the closet using 40mm broken brick jelly in lime concrete 1:2:5 (One lime, Two sand and Five brick jelly) 100mm thick and finishing the top to the required slope and including giving necessary connection to PVC pipes (including the cost of 110mm dia CI pipe for a length of 600mm) by dismantling brick masonry wall / reinforced cement concrete roof / floor slab and making good the dismantled portion to the original condition with leakages etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers. (The water closet should be got approved by the Executive Engineer before use on works).

Supplying and fixing white glazed European water closet of approved best quality and make with 100mm P or S trap connecting with CI pipe of 10mm dia/PVC pipe of 110mm dia with double flapped rigid PVC black seat and seat cover with C.P brass hinges,including cost of white cement, cement for packing, spun yarn, teak wood plugs, brass screws,etc.,including supplying and fixing10 litres/12.5 litres of capacity PVC low level flushing tank with a pair of CI brackets,etc.,complete with all internal fittings such as 15mm brass ball valve wuth polythene float with brasshandle, union coupling connected by means of 40mm white PVC flush hand using Indian adopter joint including all internal fittings etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Paving the flooring with colour designed Ceramic tiles of size 305x305x6mm of approved quality and colour over a base layer of C.M.1:3, 20mm thick in all floors used 0.20 kg / m2 including finishing the joints and pointing flush with even surfaces etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed.. (The tiles should be got approved by the Executive engineer before use on works).

Dadooing the walls with colour printed Design glazed tiles of size 150mmx150mmx6mm of approved quality and colour (Water resistant tile epoxy grout) over a base layer of C.M.1:2, 10mm and pointing the joints with white cement mixed with colouring pigment at the rate of 0.40 kg/sq.m neatly in all floors, curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (The tiles should be got approved by the Executive engineer before use on works).

Providing and fixing factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid plain flush door shutter of required size comprising of virgin polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade) calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder / rice husk/ wheat husk) and non toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) having minimum density of 650 kg/cum and screw withdrawal strength of 1800 N (Face) & 900 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength 50 N/mm2, modulus of elasticity 850 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of Class A category with property of being termite/ borer proof, water /moisture proof and fire retardant and fixing with stainless steel butt hinges of required size with necessary full body threaded star headed counter sunk S.S screws, all as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Note: stainless steel butt hinges and necessary S.S.screws shall be paid separately) 30mm thick.

Providing and fixing factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid door/window/Ceosetory windows & other Frames/ Chowkhat comprising of virgin PVC polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), Calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/ wheat husk) and non toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) fabricated with miter joints after applying PVC solvent cement and screwed with full body threaded star headed SS screws having minimum frame density of 750 kg/ cum, screw withdrawal strength of 2200 N (Face) & 1100 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength of 58 N/mm2, modulus of elasticity 900 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of Class A category with property of being termite/borer proof, water/moisture proof and fire retardant and fixed in position complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge Frame size 65x100mm.

Supplying and fixing in position of best approved quality of rain water down fall pipe having a pressure of 4Kg/sq.cm including cost of PVC bents, PVC shoe, cast iron gratings of required diameter and special clamps, brass screws nails etc., and fixing of cast iron gratings at junction of parapet and the junction of roof slab including finishing neatly etc., complete complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and fixing in position best quality PVC soil / waste pipes of 110mm dia having 6 kg / sq.cm. pressure BIS mark and providing leak proof joints using PVC adhesives including fixing to the wall with special PVC / MS clamp, teak wood plugs, brass screws, etc., and making connection to all sanitary fittings etc., complete as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and fixing in position of best Indian make PVC Water Tank of 500 litres capacity confirming to ISI standards as directed by the departmental officers including cost of material and conveyance charges of material to work site etc., complete complying with standard specifications.

Supplying, and fixing PVC pipes of 20mm dia of approved quality and variety conforming to pressure IS 4985. The rate is inclusive of cost of pipe, all taxes, conveyance charges of materials and all other labour charges for cutting, threading and fixing the PVC pipe as directed by the departmental officers etc., complete complying with standard specifications. (The PVC pipe should be got approved by the departmental officers before use on work).

Finishing the top of roof with one course of new machine pressed tiles of size 23x23x2cm laid in cement mortar 1:2 (one of cement and two of sand)mixing with water proofing compound confirming to ISS at 2% weight of cement used and pointed with water proofing compound mixed with red oxide etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Paving the floor with semi polished cuddapah slab of 38/ 40mm thick laid over Cement Morter 1:3 (one cement and three sand) 20mm thick over the existing bed of cement concrete 1:5:10 (one cement, five sand and ten aggregate) and pointing the joints to full depth of slabs with same mortar mixed with black oxide and the top surface rendered smooth, curing etc., The cuddapah stone slabs and other materials to be used shall be got approved by the Executive Engineer concerned before use on work, etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Supply and fixing in position wash hand basin with new one fixing in position best quality approved make white glazed earthenware wash hand basin of size 550x400mm with a pair of cast iron brackets, including cost of 15mm dia metre brass chromium plated pillar tap, 32mm dia metre G.M wheel valve 15mm dia brass nipple 15mm dia nylon connection etc., including fixing the wash hand basin in the wall in position with pair of CI brackets with teak wood plugs and screws and giving necessary water supply connection and painting the brackets with two coats of paint over a primary coat of anticorrosive paint including testing for leakage etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Renewing the broken windows and Ventilator glass panes of 4mm thick with new glass panes of 4mm thick of approved quality including fixing in position with TW beading all round the glass panes with nails etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Servicing the rolling shutter including changing clips, patties, adjustment bearing cleaning and grease applying, locking slids adjustment kerosene washing etc., complete as directed by the departmental officers.
