REPAIRS TO ROAD, POT HOLES AND ROAD FURNITURE AT UMROI MIL STN UNDER GE UMROI

Material and labour for repairs to potholes, not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth and making good by filling in screened & graded road metals, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metals) complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 kg per 10 sq metre using Paving bitumen VG-10, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing Bituminous dense asphaltic concrete, 40mm consolidated thickness with with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using Paving bitumen any penetration of Grade VG-30, rolled and compacted to required uniform surface, camber and gradient using 8 to 12 Tonne Power roller, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) The quoted rate shall be worked out on the basis of binder contents (bitumen VG-30) of 5.5% by weight of total mix. (ii) Work shall be executed as per design mix as approved by GE with 5.5% VG-30 bitumen by weight of total mix. (iii) The work of Bituminous premixed dense asphaltic concrete shall be done using HOT MIX PLANT and laying of Bituminous dense asphaltic concrete shall be done using MECHANICAL PAVER only.

Material and labour for preparation of OLD / NEW bituminus surfaces of road including cleaning of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and foreign material and Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc., on black top surfaes of roads with and including Retroreflective Thermoplastic road marking paint, 3 mm thick uniform thickness with glass Brads (MORTH GRADE) white or yellow, not exceeding 100 mm wide using road marking machine, all as per manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix IN REPAIRS, solar cat eye aluminium alloy (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Monocrystalline solar panel 2.40 V/0.30 watt one ni-cd rechargeable battery (1.20V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd complete all as specified and directed. (Make: Dark Eye Cat Part No DA 971P or Equivalent in 3M / Senior Infrastructure)
