Carry out alignment correction of the stop log which has deviated from its original position due to normal wear and tear during operation. The work shall include cutting and welding operations for rectifying bent members and restoring the structural geometry to the original design tolerances. Alignment shall be checked and confirmed in accordance with relevant IS codes and barrage operation manuals before proceeding to the next stage

Removing damaged rubber seal from gate and fixing new rubber seal ( excluding cost of rubber seal and bolts ) including cleaning seal seat, valcanizing seal wherever necessary, forming holes in seal, fixing in place & all necessary works as directed and complete as per specification. Replacement of existing guide shoes and supply, installation, and fixing of new guide shoes to ensure smooth and accurate vertical movement of the stop log within the pier grooves. The new guide shoes shall match the existing approved sample and comply with the barrage pier guide channel design. Scope of Work: • Careful dismantling and removal of old guide shoes without damaging the stop log or pier grooves. • Supply of new guide shoes as per the required specifications and approved design. • Fixing each guide shoe using four (4) stainless steel high-tensile, corrosion-resistant nuts and bolts. • Ensuring accurate fitting, alignment, and proper clearance for smooth operation. • Execution by expert and experienced labour for both dismantling and installation activities. The rate shall be inclusive of all materials, labour, tools, and plants required for the complete and satisfactory execution of the work.

Cleaning gates / hoists / embedded parts to expose fresh metal surface for repainting by sand blasting method as per specifications including cost of all materials, labour, machinery, scaffolding, applying a coat of rust inhibitive compound with all other ancillary operations complete.

Deployment of Gantry Crane, Helpers, and Professional Divers for Stop Log Handling, Transport, and Underwater Inspection Deploy one certified gantry crane operator along with eight (8) helpers for operating the barrage gantry crane to lift, carry, and transport the stop log from its storage stand to the adjoining barrage workshop for repairs, and subsequently back to site after completion. The scope includes: • Stop Log Handling & Transport: Safe lifting of the stop log from the stand, transportation to the adjoining barrage workshop, and return to site using the existing 20tonnes capacity gantry crane, ensuring no damage to the structure. • Underwater Inspection & Testing: Deployment of a certified professional divers’ team for post-repair underwater inspection and testing. • Silt and Debris Removal: Cleaning the stop log seating area by jetting and other approved methods to ensure proper contact surfaces. • Installation & Alignment: Guiding the stop log into the pier grooves and ensuring proper seating and alignment. • Diver Safety & Supervision: Provision of oxygen supply, diver safety monitoring, and presence of a qualified dive supervisor at all times. • Support Equipment: Use of boats and associated equipment to provide diver access, inspection capability, and safety backup. • Functional Testing: Conducting operational water load tests to verify water tightness, alignment, and functional performance before final acceptance. • Inclusion of Stop Log Stand: Provision, installation, and use of a stop log stand during the repair and handling process is included in the scope. All works to be executed using experienced personnel, certified operators/divers, and suitable tools, tackles, and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and as per the instructions of the Engineer-in-Charge for 2 pier

Painting of embedded parts, all types of gates, stop logs and bar screen/gratings etc on prepared surfaces with one coat of inorganic zinc silicate primer (airless s p r a y preferred)70+/ - 5 micron and two super coats with a total thickness of 300 microns (each 150+/- 5) of solvent less coaltar epoxy paint each coat 150 microns ( total 300 microns) including cost of all materials, labour, scaffolding etc., complete with all leads and all lifts.
