MASS FLOW METER REQUIREMENT BULK PIPELINE RECEIPT/ DISPATCH REQUIRMENT In order to facilitate operations and safety during bulk LPG receipt/ dispatch through cross country pipelines, following field instruments should be provided for Bulk Pipeline Receipt and Dispatch operations. Bulk Pipeline Receipt/ Dispatch header MANDATORY requirement i Coriolis type Mass Flow Meter ii Temperature Transmitter with RTD and Thermowell iii Pressure Transmitter iv Temperature Gauge and Temperature Gauge v Remote Operated Valve NOTE: i. Mass flow meter, pressure transmitter and remote operated valves shall be connected to centralised automation system for inventory details of the product received, monitoring of process parameters (pressure and temperature) and control of ROV. ii. Product accounting details through MFM, status of ROVs and interlock details shall be shared with the product dispatch/ receipt location as per OISD 144. THE CORIOLIS TYPE MASS FLOW METER WITH FLOW AND DENSITY TRANSMITTER BEING SUPPLIED SHOULD BE COMPLIANT TO THE ABOVE REQUIRMENT SO AS TO COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE REQUIRMENT AS PER OISD 144.
