Repairs to pot holes of any depth not exceeding 1sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at 5kg per 10Sqm puting in premixed bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10sqm, blended with 0.09 Cum of stone chipping, 6.3mm size and again well rammed depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and directed.

Premixed bituminous macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber [consolidate thickness 50mm or less] using paving bitumen of Grade VG - 30 as binder with 4% by weight of total mix rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

150mm thick (with two layers of 75mm thick each, compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates granite, trap or basalt, of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required, complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bituminous primer of grade VG-10 at 10 kg per 10 sq metre, complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bituminous primer of grade VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, complete all as specified and directed.

Premixed bituminous semi dense ashphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG - 30 as binder with 5.5% minimum binder content by weight of total mix and laying with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE:- (i) Contractor shall get the design mix carried out from sources specified here-in-after and execute work using bitumen content as per actual design mix. In case bitumen content required as per design mix varies with 5.5% as specified, excess quantity of paving bitumen of required shall be considered in unit rates and nothing will be paid extra. (ii) Cost of carrying out design mix shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item.

Preparation of black bituminous road surfaces and applying thermo plastic road marking paint minimum 2mm thick with an applicator machine and heated mixer, with stirring mechanism at temperature 160 degree celcious, laid uniformly with and as directed , paint conforming to IS-3262 part I &II of 1989 etc, complete as per manufacturer's instructions, all as specified and directed. S&F in repairs Cat eyes, 100mm x 100mm x 18.5 mm size made out of poly-carbonate and ABS mounted body dynamically designed very high impact strength and fitted with 2Nos highly reflective reflectors (red / yellow colour), including epoxy glue complete all as specified and directed. M&L for fully retro reflective, traffic sign board / area sign board of size 0.18 Sqm but not exceeding 0.36 Sqm made out of 13 SWG CRCA sheet all as per IRC 1997 with cautionary warning sign of required size and the sign board shall be fixed to and including 50mm dia stainless steel pole of height of 1200mm from ground level including excavation of post holes of size 450mm x 450mm x 450mm and getting out in any type of soil and filled with and including provision of PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) and removing excavated materials including making good the disturbed surfaces to match with existing complete all as specified and directed.

Fully reflective sign boards cautionary warning sign size 60mm dia made of 16 SWG CRCA sheet complete all as per IRC 1997 Including excavation of post holes of size 450mm x 450mm x 450mm and getting out in any type of soil and filled with and including provision of PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) and removing excavated materials including making good the disturbed surfaces to match with existing complete all as specified and directed.
