Maintenance and servicing of 160 KVA DG set of any make Diesel Generator Sets including connected Alternator, Panel Board (AMF/ Non AMF) and carrying out routine 'A' check of the engine complete for smooth functioning all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed-03 Nos. NOTES: (i) Control switches such as MCCB, Main switch, contactors, multi display meter and engine control unit shall be out of scope of the item of work and the rate quoted shall exclusive of servicing/ maintenance of the above said fittings. (ii) Servicing of DG Set alongwith connected Alternator and Panel Board including 'A' Check of the Engine shall be carried out once in every month (Except during the month when 'B' check is carried out) as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and the contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenance period and he shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG set for a period of 30 days from the date of service and shall also attend all the maintenance works as and when required in that period except in case of Major repairs. (iii) Spare parts required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid separately as supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item. (iv) Cost of all consumables required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item. (v) List of checks to be carried out under 'A' check is attached as Appendix 'A' to the Particular specifications.

(ii) 'B' check shall be ccmcarried out once in every six months or 250 hours of running of DG Set whichever is earlier. Servicing of DG Set alongwith connected Alternator and Panel Board including items covered in 'A' Check of the Engine shall also be carried out in that month as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and the contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenance period and he shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG set for a period of 30 days from the date of service and shall also attend all the maintenance works as and when required in that period except in case of major repairs (iii) Spare parts, engine oil and radiator coolant oil required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid separately as supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares/ filling of oils shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item. (iv) Cost of all consumables required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the uniu rate quoted for this item, contractor to be provided fuel filter, oil filter, water filter, top head gaskets,fuel pipes, battery terminal, battery lead and distilled water. (v) List of checks to be carried out under 'B' check is attached as Appendix 'B' to the Particular specifications.

Repair/ overhauling of radiator assembly 160 KVA capacity of DG set by disconnecting and removing from the engine, dismantling the top and bottom chambers, descaling the sediments, scales, corrosion etc. by means of acid, cleaning and high pressure water washing, air cleaning, re-assembling the same with new gaskets including arresting leakages, if any and fixing to the engine with new hoses, clips etc. complete all as required and directed. Note: The unit rate quoted shall be inclusive of transporting of the radiator to the workshop and back and all incidental charges.

Decoupling alternator from the DG set engine, transportation to nearest workshop for repair, dismantling parts of alternator i.e stator, rotor, slip ring, MX unit/ AVR, carbon brass with holder for rewinding of armature with suitable size of super enamelled copper wire including heating vernishing providing required insulating materials for alternator cap 70-82.5 KVA, complete all as specified and directed.

Decoupling alternator from the DG set engine, transportation to nearest workshop for repair, dismantling parts of alternator i.e stator, rotor, slip ring, MX unit/ AVR, carbon brass with holder for rewinding of armature with suitable size of super enamelled copper wire including heating vernishing providing required insulating materials for alternator cap 125-160 KVA, complete all as specified and directed.

Note:(i) One HS DG Mechanic and one helper should be available for attending day to day complaints on all days including/ Sunday and holiday from 09.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs . (ii) Individuals should be in possession of all required tools for rectification of complaints . (iii) Labour charges and cost of reqired tools is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted here-in-before. (iv) Work shall be executed by the authorised service mechanic/Electrician of manufacturer, after satisfacterily completion of servicing of DG set/ Alternator, if any fault occurs upto completion of contract peried, should be attended by concerned rep within stripulated time frame without any failure , quoted rates is deemed to be included all such charges.(v) Item no 1 to 37 If any above DG equipment and connected itms become breakdown, the contractor shall locate the problem/ fault at site within 12 hours on intimation by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge and ensure that the fault and rectified within 48 Hours, failing which an amount of Rs 100.00 per hour will be recovered as penal recovery from any payment due to contractor after expiry of 48 hours.

Taking down ceiling fans of 1200mm sweep and any size including cable connections and disconnecting of fan blades and removing the fan with blades to store yard and hanging ceiling fan in its original position or any other position including all fitting and fixtures after carrying out the repairs i.e cleaning of fan, greasing and filling, reassembling the fan etc including testing complete all as specified and directed.
