Manning and Operation of sewage treatment plant - III installed at Kamath Bay in 02 (two) shifts of 8 hours each on all days including Sundays and holidays including routine maintenance / checks complete all as per the maintenence schedule given in operation & maintenence manual for STP including supply & use of consumeable like grease, cotton waste etc and attending breakdown, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Manning and Operation of Swimming (Divers) Pool installation at Divers Pool Baithkol daily in two shift of 08 hours each including sunday and holidays comprising of following equipments complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge: a) Pressure sand filter 2.1 Mtr dia, 25 Cum/Hr capacity - 01 No b) Water circulating 3-phase electric motor driven centrifugal pump sets 10 HP capacity-02 Nos c) HDPE liquid chlorine dozing container with pump 6 liters/hour capacity - 01 No

NOTES for item No 1.00 & 2.00: (a) Contractor has to employ One No Skilled operator per shift of 8 hours having minimum ITI qualificaiton in Electric / Mechanic trade from Govt recognized institute with minimum 2 years experience in Maintenance & Operatiion of sewage treatment plant & Swimming (Divers) Pool as applicable in each shift of 8 hrs (Total -02 Nos per day for STP -III & Total -02 Nos per day for Swimming (Divers) Pool) . The operator must be competent to carryout the routine maintenance of STP- III & Swimming Pool including maintenance of electrical panel board. (b) The contractor shall pay the wages to the Skilled operators through e-payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts(Credit to their bank account). Engr-in-Charge shall ensure that e-payment made to Skilled operators and their wages shall not be less than minimum wages fixed by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more. Monthly e-banking statement shall be furnished by the contractor to the Engineer-in-Charge and the same shall be kept in record duly verified. (c) It is responsibility of contractor to deposit the employees provident fund (EPF) to the concerned authority as per the prevailing scales as laid down by the Ministry of labour for all Electrician/operator/helper (as applicable) and necessay proof to this regard shall be submitted to Engr-in-charge for verification and records. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, he shall be liable for action as deemed fit. Decision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding. (d) The contracotr shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall be produced to GE and as well as officers detailed by labour department. (e) Power supply for operating the installation will be made available by the Department free of cost.

(f) Contractor will maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, Quarterly, half yearly, yearly or whatsoever maintenance is carried out during contract period in a binded book / register and will obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge every fortnightly. (g) The contractor will ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the installation and area around it on daily basis. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 1000/- per month will be levied and recovered from their dues. (h) The routine maintenance/ checks shall be strictly carried out by the operator all as stipulated in the Operation & Maintenance Manual for STP No III & Swimming pool (as applicable) kept at AGE E/M office. Timing of shifts shall be as decided by Engr-in-charge

(j) The Contractor shall not employ same tradesman continuously for more than 11 months. (k) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for daily routine maintenance like checking and rectification of any leakage of water, checking and rectification of any loose connection, cleaning and general upkeep of plant room and area around it. (l) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operator & design of uniform shall be got approved from Engineer-in-charge. In case contractor fails to provide the uniform, recovery @ of Rs 1200/- per uniform will be recovered. (m) In case of failure due to absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day’s Manning & Operation derived from pro rata rate of Sch ‘A’ quoted rates.

(m) In case of failure to submit test report for STP-III from Govt. approved laboratory within 20 days from the date of sample then recovery at the rate of double the actual cost of testing will be recovered. (n) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of uniform, safety gear & required tools for minor maintenance. In case of failure to provide tools kit & safety kit (Gum boots-02 pairs, mask-02 pairs, hand gloves), a penalty of Rs 3000/- will be recovered and levied

M & L for dismantling induction motor from the gear box / pump of any make, 3 phase 415 V of following capacities, opening the motor for rewinding and rewinding motor using super enamelled copper wire of suitable gauge to match with the existing winding including replacement of worn out bearings of suitable size of (1 Hp, 3 Hp), varnishing & drying & baking in oven and re-assembling the motor, connecting with Gear Box / pump and testing complete all as directed :-

(a) Sludge withdrawal pump ,0.75 KW, 3 Phase, Make;- Euro Drive

(b) Submersible raw sewage transformer pump 3HP Make : Grundfoss model AP 1240 08A3

(c) Disc rotating motor with Gear box 1 Ton capacity, Make: SEW-Euro Drive, KW 0.75.

M & L preperation of old treated steel surface and painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint on machineries, equipments filters, motors, pumps, compressors, ladders, valve covers, pipeline, cabletrays, switchboards, panels and any other parts connected to STP with paint of approved colour all as specified and directed.

M & L for cleaning of equilisation tank at STP-III by pumping out raw sewage, removing the sludge settled at the bottom, cleaning thoroughly with wire brush, finally cleaning with dilute solution of sodium hypochlorite & fresh water, applying one coat of bituminous paint including writing letters on the tank with synthetic enamel paint as "TANK CLEANED ON ------(DATE) AND DUE ON ---(DATE) with 10 cm high stencil cut english letter all as specified and directed.

Testing of Sewage Treated water sample, collected from over flow of settling tank for testing, chemical analysis for PH value, BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand), COD (chemical oxygen demand), TSS (Total suspended solids), TDS (Total disolved solids), Chloride, Sulphate, SO4, conductivity RSC (Residual sodium carbonate) & for content of oil & grease from KSPCB approved govt lab by standard procedure including cost of packing material & Transportation of sample etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only sodium hypochlorite (Liquid chlorine) first quality, in sealed HDPE container of 10 % concentration of standard capacity all as specified and directed. NOTE: (i) Necessary chemicals and testing kit (residual chlorine & PH) for testing of water samples at lab shall be provided by the Contractor and cost of the same shall be deemed to included in the unit rate quoted. (ii) The quantity of dosage will be strictly in accordance with the instruction given in operation and maint manual all as specified and directed

Supply only lubricating oil for gear box of Rotating Biological Contactor . MAKE: Kluber oil GEM 1-220w or equivalent as approved by GE.

Supply and fixing in repairs PVC sheathed insulated flat copper cable 3 core 2.5 Sqmm including clamp etc all as specified and directed

M & L Cleaning of swimming pool of size 25 m x 13.5 m bottom and side walls using motorised suction sweeper fitted with nylon brush and chemicals all as specified and directed. NOTE: (i) Suction sweeper electric driven, 3-phase 415 volts with brush will be provided by the dept and electric supply will be made available free of cost. Dewatering, removing dust & dirt, cleaning the surfaces with diluted floor cleaning acid for removing stains & cleaning the surface with fresh water etc. complete. (ii) Chemicals will be measured and paid for separately under respective item herein after (iii) The cleaning shall be done twice in a week.

Supply only following chemicals for cleaning / Treatment of Divers pool water all as specified and directed:

a) Copper sulphate of approved quality.

b) Alum lump grade 1st quality

c) Tri Chloro ISO Cyanuaric Acid (TCCA90) of approved make.

Dismantling electric motor from the Suction sweeper/ centrifugal pumpset of any make, 3 phase 415 V of following capacities, opening the motor for rewinding and rewinding the motor using super enamelled copper wire of suitable gauge to match with the existing winding including varnishing & drying and re assembling the motor, connecting with pumpset with proper alignment and testing complete all as directed:

M & L painting with one coats of synthetic enamel paint on exposed steel surfaces of the following equipments including removing old paint by paint removers and cleaning with scrapers complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge: (i) Pressure sand filters of size 2.1 m dia, height-1.8 m - 01 No (ii) Pumping sets 10 HP capacity with motors - 2 Nos

S & F in repairs control unit for 36/40 watt, 110 / 230 Volts (AC / DC converter-SMPS 12.5 Amps) under water light complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. MAKE: Power source or Little wonder or equivalent as approved by GE.

S & F in repairs under water light fitting crown SS SMD LED light 12V, 20W and 9'' dia including all accessories i.e, gasket,water proof sealing, screws etc including testing complete as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. MAKE: Austin or equivalent make as approved by GE

Supply only stainless steel based suction sweeper brush of size head 45 cm x 15 cm with nylon bristles all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs nylon ribbed hose 40 mm outer dia heavy duty suitable for suction sweeper including removal of old hose pipe all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs nylon rope 15 mm outer dia heavy duty suitable for suction sweeper including removal of old rope all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs decorative post top LED light fitting 40 watt made in cast aluminium spigot housing with decorative clear opal acrylic diffuser and IP 65 protection including 40 Watt LED lamp and cutting the old existing MS pipe at a required length to fix new fitting with suitable modification, painting existing pipe etc complete all as specified and directed. MAKE: Bajaj cat part No BGCT W4 LED WW or equivalent make in Phillips, Crompton greaves,C&S

S & F in repairs PVC grating for swimming pool of size width 9 inch, height 25 mm single pin white blue colour all as specified and directed. MAKE: Austin, Volga overflow grating or equivalent as approved by GE

M & L for opening of sand media filter gate of swimming pool of size 2.1 m dia & 1.9 m height after closing all inlet and outlet valves and removing old dirty sand media with old nut & bolt/gasket/washer from filter chamber and cleaning complete chamber, drying, preparation of surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint using spray gun and filling of new sand media as per standard procedure, fixing new old nut & bolt/gasket/washer etc complete all as directed. NOTE: (i) Filter media required shall be measured under relavent item of this schedule. (ii) Cleaning of dual filter / filling of filter media shall be carried out by specialised agency duly approved by GE.

Supply only granular fine pebbles of size 40 mm to 3 mm suitable for filter media of rapid sand water filters free from all types of salts, alkaline materials, minerals, silts, impurities etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only quartz/silica coarse sand suitable for dual filter complete all as specified and directed

Dismantling of swimming pool recirculation water pump motor of 10 HP capacity from motor horizontal split type and overhauling the complete pump including replacing of worn out bearings,nut & bolt, etc including testing complete all as specified and directed
