OVERHAULING FOR WFC JOB

Notes for items no 2.01 to 2.51:- (i) The contractor shall submit the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU )on stamp paper duly notarized with Original Equipments Manufacturer (OEM) of lifts to the effect that repair/ maintenance of the lifts will be carried out under their overall supervision and direction/ instructions within ten days after acceptance of tender, failing which the contract will be liable to be cancelled and work shall be executed at risk & cost of the contractor In case the lifts of old makes for which OEM/ authorised agency do not exist, theses lift shall be repair through other OEMs/ accredited agencies, registered MES contractors or other contractors listed in appropriate category of CPWD/ Railways/ Other Government Agencies as approved by GE (ii) All the parts as mentioned above will be of make as specified by OEM of lifts. (iii) The OEM or their accredited/ authorised agencies shall be conduct one safety audit during the currency of the contract for each lift and submit reports to the AGE. (iv) That for any break of terms and condition of the MOU by the contractor the OEM shall inform to the AGE. (v) The contractor and OEM shall be responsible for proper functioning of electrical and mechanical fittings of the lifts and make the lift properly workable . To make the lifts properly workable any other major or minor electrical and mechanical spare parts other than mentioned above if required shall be replaced by the contractor/OEM without any extra cost. Contractor shall keep in mind this aspect while quoting his rate and no extra claim shall be entertained in later stage. (vi) The decision of Accepting Officer shall be final and binding.
