SCHEDULE 'A' E/M Works

Taking down carefully storage type water heater( geysers) of 25/35/50 litres capacity for servicing after disconnecting existing water supply and electric connection by unscrewing/ cutting of holding bolts/ nuts from walls and opening the tank for repair including Inspection and Refixing after repair and testing of Repaired geysers ( of any type and capacity) due to any defect like air lock, water leakage in pipe line joints including replacement of GI nipples ,And replacement of small electric parts like indication lamp , fuseplug if faulty , checking loose electric connections inside and outside geyser and making good complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Cost of mentioned small parts like GI Nipple , Fuseplug, indication Lamps and steel Fastners of size 10 mm dia 100 mm long wherever required willl be included in the quoted rate. (b) Any Parts like Assembely, Element , Thermostat , PVC Connections ,etc not mentioned under this item will be measured and paid under separate item of BOQ.

Supply and Fixing (in repair) inner assembly suitable for 25/35 Ltr of capacity geyser complete all as per IS Codes and specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and Fixing (in repair) inner assembly suitable for 50 Ltr of capacity geyser complete all as per IS Codes and specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement Heating element 2 KW, 230 volts AC supply (ISI marked, original as per existing/sample) suitable for water heaters/geyser (any type) complete with rubber gasket including replacing the rusted bolts/screw if required during changing the heating elements, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make: Bajaj / Venus / Havells / Crompton / Power pack / Victor / sunflame / Intersolar or equivalent as approved by GE

Taking down electric water heaters (geysers) of capacity 50 litres, storage type from site, after disconnecting of electric and water connections, taking out inner shell from outer cover, removing the thermostat switch, geyser element and geyser assembly carefully, replacement of inner shell (Stainless steel tank) and refixing the thermostat switch, geyser element and geyser assembly, testing the inner tank for any leakages, Re-assembling the geyser and mounting on the grouted bolts and connecting with electric and water supply system and testing complete to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer - in - Charge. Note :- Cost of glass wool reuired to be replaced in the inner shell of geyser will be included in the quoted rate no extra payment will be given.

Taking down electric water heaters (geysers) of capacity 35 litres, storage type from site, after disconnecting of electric and water connections, taking out inner shell from outer cover, removing the thermostat switch, geyser element and geyser assembly carefully, replacement of inner shell alongwith l(stainless steel tank) and refixing the thermostat switch, geyser element and geyser assembly, testing the inner tank for any leakages, Re-assembling the geyser and mounting on the grouted bolts and connecting with electric and water supply system and testing complete to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer - in - Charge. Note :- Cost of glass wool reuired to be replaced in the inner shell of geyser will be included in the quoted rate no extra payment will be given.

Supply and fixing ( in repairs) Autocut with temperature control regulator/thermostat with relay of suitable size on site, suitable for any make & type of geyser 25/ 35/ 50 litres capacity horizontal or vertical type all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing ( in repairs) Metal clad plug and socket assembly 20A, DP complete all as specified and directed. Make - C&S / Indo assian / HPL/Legrand or equivalent as approved by GE

Supply and fixing (in repairs ) PVC insulated and PVC sheathed 3 core copper conductor flexible round cable size 2.5 sqmm all as specified and directed. Make :- Polycab/ Plaza / Havells or equivalent as approved by GE

Supply and fixing in repairs pre-painted inspection plate rounded in two pieces made out of 22 gauge MS sheet suitable for 25/50Litres and with fixing space for indicating lamp of any type to geyser of any any make and capacity including fixing screws all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing screwed type Bronze vertical gate valve 15 mm bore by cutting and threading of GI pipe including necessary fittings like sockets, unions, elbow, nipples etc all as specified and directed. Make:- Zoloto /leader / Havells / recold or equivalent as approved by GE

Supply and fixing ( in repairs) PTMT connections heavy duty 15 mm size with PTMT nuts of length 300/450 mm complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing (in repalacement) top plug 15/16 Amp size complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Supply and fixing (in replacement as per existing) 15/16 Amp Socket of Geyser complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge Note :- Socket of any type Ordinary/modular/semimodular will be replaced as per existing make under this item no extra claim will be admissible

Supply and fixing in replacement MCB ‘C’ curve suitable for 240 volts AC supply, 20Amps, DP with over load and short circuit protection and rupturing capacity not less than 10 KA, fixed in existing panel/DB/Board complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for Routine maintenance of Solar water heater plant (including any leakages in GI pipes/ replacement of air valve steel tank fixed in hot water tank/ replacemnt float valve of cold water tank ) of Cap 100/200/300 /500 /1000 ltrs installed at single/ double/ triple story bldgs for preventing minor leakage using gasket of nitryl rubber of suitable thickness and size , cleaning of flat plate glass collector, cleaning / drain of water from hot and cold water tank and make up tank clean after disconnecting inlet and out let connections incl replacement of rusted nut bolts and washer of appropriate cap and refixing the same at retrieved position after cleaning for proper functioning of the system to maintain proper water temperature complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing HDPE rotational moulded polyethylene cylindrical vertical water storage tanks 250 Ltr cap (triple layered with closed top), conforming to specification of IS:12701-1996 with amendment No 1 and 2 (covered by fig 1) hoisted and fixed in position, including out let and inlet connection including dismantling/taking down of existing unserviceable water storage tanks of any description and capacity complete complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing HDPE rotational moulded polyethylene cylindrical vertical water storage tanks 500 Ltr cap (triple layered with closed top), conforming to specification of IS:12701-1996 with amendment No 1 and 2 (covered by fig 1) hoisted and fixed in position, including out let and inlet connection including dismantling/taking down of existing unserviceable water storage tanks of any description and capacity complete complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of rubber hose pipe 20 to 25 mm dia between hot water tank & collector fixed with MS clamp complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of choked flat collector solar panel from existing platform after disconnecting all water connection unscrewing nut, bolts and washer, removing the collector glass and absorption plate and descaling/cleaning /removing the blockage of internal copper tubing using recommended chemicals, incl drilling of copper tubing, and gas welding to stop affected leakage spot and re-fixing the panel to its original position complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement Aluminum sheet of 28 SWG fixed over hot water pipe and hot water steel tank including fixing with necessary steel screw full thread suitable for Solar water heater / electric water storage geysers and taking out old unserviceable sheet complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement Glass wool density not less than 42 Kg/Cum and fixed over outer surface of hot water pipe and hot water steel tank with the help of steel wire cloth of 0.36 nominal dia incl binding with GI binding wire suitable for Solar water heater / electric water storage geysers and taking out old unserviceable glass wool and cleaning properly before fixing new wool complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for repairing the Stainless steel hot water tank where leakage of water by steel welding in repair upto 5cm in length and not exceeding 4mm thickness of metal to be welded and testing of leakage upto entire satisfaction of JE/Engineer-in-charge and refixing the tank after repair in original position in all respect i.e. covering with existing glass wool, aluminium sheet and water connection complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement Hot water tank made out of stainless steel 2 mm thick sheet, 100 Ltr cap including covering with glass wool and aluminium sheet and provision of inlet/outlet arrangement including testing after fixing with solar system as well as electric backup supply system complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement Hot water tank made out of stainless steel 2 mm thick sheet, 200 Ltr cap including covering with glass wool and aluminium sheet and provision of inlet/outlet arrangement including testing after fixing with solar system as well as electric backup supply system complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for MS cross arms, bracing, stiffeners anti climbing spikes, supports, clamps back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, eye hooks, welding bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Supply and fixing in replacement MCB ‘C’ curve suitable for 240 volts AC supply, 32/40 Amps, DP with over load and short circuit protection and rupturing capacity not less than 10 KA, fixed in existing panel/DB/Board complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing galvanized steel tubing (GI pipe) medium grade 15mm bore ISI marked with all new fittings like elbow, tee, union, socket, reducer etc. and fixed complete to walls, ceiling and laid in floor or concealed in walls including cutting of existing pipe any dia for insertaion of tee branch as required including taking out/down old rusted pipes making good disturbed surfaces as per existing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply and fixing galvanized steel tubing (GI pipe) medium grade 20mm bore ISI marked with all new fittings like elbow, tee, union, socket, reducer etc. and fixed complete to walls, ceiling and laid in floor or concealed in walls including cutting of existing pipe any dia for insertaion of tee branch as required including taking out/down old rusted pipes making good disturbed surfaces as per existing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement non return valve of brass (ISI marked) confirming to relevant IS, suitable for 15mm bore GI pipe in any position complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement gun metal, globe or gate valve (ISI marked), brass cast copper alloy, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends suitable for 15mm bore iron pipes complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight of gate valve shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Material and labour for concealed sub main wiring with 6 Sqmm single core (Two run) FRLSH PVC insulated multistrand copper conductor drawn through and including PVC conduit 20mm dia (medium quality ISI marked), on independent circuit from DB and including one run 6 Sqmm FRLSH PVC insulated unsheathed multi strand copper conductor continues as earth wire connected to earth dolly etc. including all fitting arrangement i.e. PVC clamp, rawl plug, screw, terminal/junction box, tee, bend etc. and including cutting of chases in wall, taking out old sub main wiring of any conductor any size from conduit and taking down old unserviceable conduit with fittings, and making good disturbed surfaces of walls as per original complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :-Three run of 6 sqmm copper wire and one run conduit shall be measured as one RM length for payment.

Material and labour for surface sub main wiring with 6 Sqmm single core (Two run) FRLSH PVC insulated multistrand copper conductor drawn through and including PVC casing caping (heavy duty) on independent circuit and including one run 6 Sqmm FRLSH PVC insulated unsheathed multi strand copper conductor continues as earth wire connected to earth dolly etc. including all fitting arrangement i.e. PVC clamp, rawl plug, screw, terminal box, tee, bend etc. and including taking down old sub main wiring of any conductor any size from and including taking out/down broken pipe or casing caping, including making good disturbed surfaces of walls/ceiling etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :-Three run of 6 sqmm copper wire and one run casing caping shall be measured as one RM length.
