CLEARING GRASS: Clearing the area of grass, rank vegetation, Soil Muck, Subsoil mixed up with Hydrocarbon spills in the Area of work, wild growth, bushes,shrubs, trees and plants upto 30 cm girth measured at a height of 1.0M above ground level from road side berms, under pipelines and structures, tank farms, drains, yards etc. by removal of grass ,plants etc. by uprooting/scrapping upto depth of 150 mm completely from ground and making good the area disturbed, collecting all uprooted vegetation etc. bundling into heaps and disposal outside owner’s battery area at earmarked places only within a lead of 4 km with contractor's own transport, all tools, tackles, labour etc. all complete as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

EARTHWORK IN EXCAVATION: Earth work in excavation below ground level in all kind of Soil for all kind of works in foundation including pipe / cable trenches, pavements, manholes, footings, pipelines, pipe sleepers, drains, ug pits etc. including all labour, materials, dressing of sides, leveling, grading and ramming of bottom, pumping & bailing out water accumulated due to rain and / or subsoil waters by any method including well point system if required and including disposal or stacking, leveling and neatly dressing as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, Keeping of surplus excavated material within a lead of 500 M etc. including dismantling and providing temporary supports to existing service lines like water pipes, sewerage, electric cables, etc., including shoring/ strutting if required, all materials tools, tackles and labour all complete and as directed by Owner/Engineer-in-Charge for following depth Excluded : - Site Cleaning/Removal of Trees or Trumps, General Filling, General Excavation in Hard Rock, Disposal of Earth to designated Areas Note: Payment for Excavation shall be made on PCC Foot Print Area basis

DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS EARTH: Carting away ( transporting and disposing ) of surplus earth,lime,moorum,rubbish,debris including refractory /insulation debris,shrubs and vegetations from construction area beyond the initial lead of 500M to anywhere including re-excavating the deposited soil excavated earlier, transportation, loading, unloading, laying at all depths and heights, stacking, levelling and dressing both the area (viz. from where the earth is transported and where it is deposited) to required levels and slopes complete with all lifts as per the direction of the Owner/ Engineer-in- Charge. For carting on the basis of truck measurements (Volume of truck reduced by 30% for voids). Note : Outing gate of Refinery shall be decided by NRL / EIC as per the site condition . The arrangement of necessary land for disposal is in the scope of the contractor & The cost should be inclusive of same. Including necessary approval from the local authorities for the dumping area.

PCC/RCC CONCRETE

CONCRETE - P.C.C

Providing, mixing and laying blinding layer of PCC nominal mix using 40mm and downgraded coarse aggregate for any thickness below footings, plinth beams, G.F.slab, pilecaps, foundations, trenches, pits & sumps etc. as levelling course, filling material, using Ordinary Portland cement/ Portland Pozzolona Cement, curing including shuttering, tamping, ramming, vibrating, etc., complete, as per drawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge. For details refer specification for Plain and Reinforced concrete (NR-0ZZZZ-CV-SPE-0002). Materials to be supplied as per approved vendor lists attached with special conditions of contract.

CONCRETE - R.C.C

Providing and laying REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE OF M-30 GRADE (Ready Mix Concrete with design mixes) with 20mm and down size graded crushed stone Aggregates / Gravel in Foundation / Pedestal / Concrete Sleeper / Pipe supports etc, using Ordinary Portland Cement/Portland Pozzolona Cement., (including single pour concreting as specified on the drawing), applying cement wash on concrete surface (wherever no other surface application is specified), providing pockets, openings, recesses, chamfering, etc., wherever required, vibrating. tamping, curing and rendering if require ed to give a smooth and even surface etc. (EXCLUDING THE COST OF REINFORCEMENT, SHUTTERING & SPECIFIED ADMIXTURES) for all depths below and upto plinth level in any shape, position and thickness etc. all complete as specified, shown and directed. Providing and laying Reinforced Concrete for Paving & Paving supported pedestals any Shape/ Location/ slope/ Type/ Thickness for specified concrete grade using OPC/PPC and 20mm and down size graded crushed stone aggregates, including all earthworks in filling/ excavation as necessary, sub-grade compaction with base-course laid in layers if required by relevant specifications or drawings, casting of reinforced concrete slab in alternate panels, formation of required slopes, leaving pockets, if necessary, making recess/ drains, kerbs, shuttering, tamping, curing all inclusive.finishing the top surface smooth, Providing the Drains for Floors, etc. all complete including the Supply and Laying of Admixtures and corrosion inhibitors as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer- in-charge.

SHUTTERING

High Yield Strength Deformed (HYSD) / TMT Bars – Grade Fe 500D for all concrete structures / Foundation / Pedestals / Sleepers Supplying , Cleaning and placing in position TMT bars / HIGH YEILD-STRENGTH DEFORMED STEEL BARS REINFORCEMENT of Grade Fe 500D conforming to lS:1786, for RCC work (Cast-in-Situ and/ or Pre-cast Reinforced Concrete Works ) Including transporting the Steel, straightening, cleaning, decoiling, cutting, bending to required shapes and lengths as per details, binding with 18 SWG black soft annealed binding wire at every Intersection, supplying and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, chairs, overlaps, welding, spacers, fanhooks etc. for all Sub Structures like Foundations, Culverts, Basins, Drains, Sleepers, etc. at all depths as specified in the Drawings, specification TP-1ZZZA-CV-SPE-0002 and all completed as per directions of Engineer-in-charge. Materials to be supplied as per approved vendor lists attached with special conditions of contract. SUPPLY OF ALL MATERIAL IN CONTRACTOR's SCOPE. Measurement: Weight calculated as the unit weight multiplied by the finished net bar length as per IFC drawings. For payment reinforcement including authorized weight for spacer bars, laps, chairs etc shall be measured separately for diameter wise length actually used. Wastages & unauthorized laps shall not be considered for payment. Inspections and Tests as per relevant technical specifications and codes shall be deemed to be included in the scope

ANCHOR BOLTS

Supplying, fabricating, casting, installing and fixing in position at all levels & locations M.S.holding down threaded bolts conforming to IS 2062 Grade A or BR as per drawings and nomenclature, including supply and fixing nuts, washers, anchor plates, pipe sleeves, etc., as per Standard TP-1ZZZA-CV-SDD-0002 in foundations, columns, pedestals, slabs, beams, walls etc. or any other place as directed including handling & transporting, straightening if required, turning from relevant size M.S. rounds to required diameter, threading, welding, providing necessary templates and auxiliary dummy structures, if any, necessary tying and welding with reinforcement, adjustment of shuttering & reinforcement/any other fixture, greasing exposed metal surfaces, covering bolts and packing the sleeves with jute cloth etc. all complete as specified and directed by EIC.(SUPPLY OF ALL MATERIALS IN CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE).( No extra payment shall be given for template or any dummy structure)

GRATINGS

Supplying, fabricating and erecting in position at all levels and locations ELECTROFORGED GRATING purchased from approved manufacturer conforming to specification TP-1ZZZA-CV-SPE-0024 & standard no TP-1ZZZA-CV-SDD-0003 in walkways, platforms, stair landing, drains, catch basins etc. including cutting to required size, shape, making holes, notches, openings of required size, nosing, straightening if required, making the edges smooth, removing the burrs, fabricating clamps, fixing, tack welding, preparation and submission of fabrication drawings etc. all complete as specified and directed. Painting shall be as specified and wherever required, repairs of damaged surface coat after erection, complete with all tools, equipments and labour, for all depths and heights as per drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Inspection and checking shall be deemed considered. Floor Grating shall be Electroforged from mild steel Grade E250A IS:2062 and shall be minimum 25mm thk. Maximum size of voids shall be limited to 30x100 mm. Floor grating shall be hot dip galvanised in accordance with IS:2629 and tested as per IS:2633 and IS: 6745. Quantity of zinc coating shall be min 120 microns (900 gm/sqm) and as per specifications. SUPPLY OF ALL MATERIALS IN CONTRACTOR'S SCOPE.

BRICK MASONRY

Providing and laying BRICK MASONRY WITH BRICKS OF CLASS 7.5 in cement mortar 1:6 (1 Cement : 6 Sand) in one or more brick thickness and in any shape (excluding circular/curved brick masonry) at all depths below plinth level including the cost of materials, labour, scaffolding / staging, sampling & testing, soaking of bricks, cutting and laying of bricks, providing recesses, making openings of any shape & size, finishing the joints flush below ground level and raking out the joints above ground level, sealing the gap between masonry and soffit of beam/slab, embedding the fittings & fixtures, curing, etc. all complete as per specifications. ALL MATERIALS INCLUDING CEMENT SUPPLIED BY THE CONTRACTOR

12mm thick Cement Plaster

Providing and applying smooth cement plaster (with or without waterproofing compound) of given thickness conforming to IS-2645 (CICO/ approved equivalent) at all heights and below plinth in CM 1:6 to walls, beams, column, drain, bends, moulds, grooves, pattas and drip course to all brick and RCC surfaces including raking joints, scaffolding, curing finishing smooth including cost of cement, cleaning, hacking concrete surfaces, scaffolding, providing drip moulds, POINTING if required, watering, curing etc. complete for all heights, providing grooves (for 20 mm thick plaster) in plaster 12 mm wide and 12mm deep where two different material like Concrete and Brickwork are in line all complete as specified in Drawings and specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.The plaster shall be rubbed with ""Iron Plate"" till the surface shows cement paste in line level complete as directed. 12mm thick Cement Plaster without water proofing Compound using 1:6 mix mortar"

STRUCTURAL STEEL

Supplying, storing, straightening, cleaning, fabricating, painitng,transporting & Unloading, assembly, erection, alignment, bolting / welding of Fabricated Structural Steel Elements / Structural Modules in position along with fixing of all type of Connection Bolts (Erection, Hot Dip Galvanised/Non-Galvanised Permanent bolts), shim plates, as per Specifications, Layouts and Fabrication Drawings released for IFC. Fabrication shall be bolted and/ or welded STRUCTURAL STEEL WORKS of Grade E250BR (confirming to per IS:2062), BSEN 10025 S275JR/S275JO/S355JO (for universal Beam/Column) including all rolled and built-up sections/ compound sections made out of rolled sections and/or plates/ bent plates in all types of structural frameworks, floor beams, columns, stairs and any other structural items or accessories to support equipment, piping, equipment platforms(Circular/Horizontal) etc.,cutting to required size, straightening/ bending if required, edge preparation, cleaning, preheating, welding/bolting of joints with high tensile bolt (including Supply) of minimum grade 8.8 conforming to IS:3757, including welding of 16 mm dia nuts for Fireproofing wherever required as per drawing and standard, all materials and labour complete as per drawings, specifications, standards and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. Including Surface preparation for painting (SSPC-SP-10),Supply and apply painting as per Specification No. TP-1ZZZA-PI-SPE-0003, fixing in line or level with temporary staging, complete with all tools, equipment and labour for all depths and heights as per drawings and directed. Materials to be supplied as per approved vendor lists attached with special conditions of contract. Structure shall be fabricated as stick built /modular and transported to OWNER'S CONSTRUCTION SITE as per approved packing procedure and with barcode tags/stickers to the fabricated members. Scope includes erection of all types of steel structures, platforms, structural supports, Pipe supports etc., Scope shall include all activities like Bolting, Welding, Aligning, making necessary alterations caused due to mismatch of Bolt Holes and / or during fabrication, mechanical / Electrical / Pneumatic Torque Tightening of Bolts, cleaning, giving final touch up paint (specification TP-1ZZZA-PI-SPE-0003) where ever required as per specification to the welded/fabricated parts or damage during transportation and erection, etc as required complete in all respect. Making necessary arrangement of required labour, equipment, tools & tackles, Cranes, Manlift, steel scaffolding, consumables, transport, etc to execute the works at all heights as per drawings and specifications along with all related works in order that the Structure is handed over to the complete satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Exclusions: Erection of steel flooring, ladders, stairways, and handrails). Contractor to supply Temporary erection Bolts and shim plates within the quoted Price for erection. Measurement shall be done as per AFC Fabrication drawing Net weight. Permanent connection Bolts shall be supplied by the Erection Contractor. FOR STRAIGHT HANDRAIL) Supplying, fabricating, unloading, assembly, Erection of Fabricated & Painted handrails 1000mm high HORIZONTAL HAND RAILING as per Standard TP-1ZZZA-CV-SDD-0003 (for platforms, walkways, etc. or any other location as directed) consisting of top rail, mid rail and vertical posts (Maximum spacing 1500mm c/c) with 32mm nominal diameter medium grade Galvanized (610 gm/sqm) MS Tubes conforming to IS:1239 and 100x5 MS Toe Plate conforming to IS:2062 (Grade 250A), including straightening if required, cutting, bending, welding, bolting (including Supply of minimum grade 4.6) conforming to IS:1367, cleaning, surface preparation, coating and painting as per specification TP-1ZZZA-PI-SPE-0003,all complete as specified, shown and directed. Handrail shall be fabricated as modular unit and transported to OWNER'S STORE/ STORAGE YARD. Scope shall include all activities like fixing of all type of Connection Bolts (Erection, Hot Dip Galvanized/Non-Galvanized Permanent bolts) as per Specifications, Welding, Aligning, making necessary alterations caused due to mismatch of Bolt Holes, Torque Tightening of Bolts, cleaning, giving final touch up paint as per specifications to the welded / fabricated parts, etc as required complete with all tools and tackles , equipment and labour, for all and heights along with all related works in order that the Structure handrails is handed over to the complete satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge Permanent connection Bolts shall be supplied by the Erection Contractor. PIPE SUPPORTS (MATERIAL SUPPLIED BY OWNER) : Fabrication, erection (at all elevations) of all types of pipe supports like shoes, cradles, hangers, tie-rods, rigid struds, Sliding plates, Heat isolation blocks, clamps (of all sizes/thicknesses manufactured by forming method using die), turn buckles, saddles, guides, special supports, pads, and trunnion supports etc. of all types including shot blasting, supply and application of one coat of primer, intermediate & final paint, all necessary equipments, consumables, labour, returning surplus materials and scraps etc. to OWNER's storage point and completing work as per drawings, specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-charge. Modifications/rectifications, if required; and adjustments/alignment during precommissioning, commissioning as per the instructions of Engineer-in-charge. Installation of Spring hangers shall be in contractor's scope. The scope of Works also includes grouting of supports, if required as part of Pipe Supports Works within the quoted price which includes supply of grouting materials also and nothing extra shall be payable in this regard. While fabricating the supporting elements the Contractor will ensure that dimensions shown in the drawings match with the site conditions. Additional supports as necessary with the site condition shall be fabricated and erected in accordance with the Standard. The measurement shall be done in MT of finished support. Wastage shall not be considered. Also unlocking of the Spring / hangers / and /or adjusting of turn buckles etc. during commissioning shall be in the scope of Contractor within the quoted price. Welding of supports with mother pipe shall be included in erection rate for Pipe Supports on MT basis.

PAINTING

Supply of paints and primers, preparation of surfaces and application of primer and finish paints, identification ( Line numbering), lettering, stencilling of equipment/piping, colour bands, colour coding, miscellaneous demarcation required as per site engineer such as marking on grade for underground lines/cable trays/trenches etc. As specified including rubdown and touch up of shop primer wherever required, providing scaffolding for all heights, labour, material, tools and tackles, consumables supervision etc. to complete the work in all respects as per Job spec. TP-1ZZZA-PI-SPE-0003 drawings and direction of Engineer-in-Charge for all type of uninsulated piping and insulated piping as specified including pipes, fittings, flanges, supports, valves, inline instruments etc. Surface preparation by blast cleaning and application of first coat of primer (as specified in Painting spec) shall be done in fabrication yard prior to erection. For insulated piping wherever blast cleaning with no primer application is specified (insulated SS), in such cases finish paints shall also be applied in the fabrication yard. The identification marks of the piping and joints shall be noted before blasting and the same shall be transferred on primed surface as per the instructions of Engineer-in-charge. Notes: 1. All joints (fabrication as well as erection joints) shall be left unpainted till hydrotesting. 2. No extra payment shall be made for identification (line numbering etc.) of insulated and uninsulated lines. 3. Quoted rate for Painting of Piping also includes Lettering, Stenciling, colour Bands & Colour Coding etc. as per site requirement and Technical Specifications and nothing extra shall be payable in this regard.

MISCELLANEOUS ACTIVITIES DURING RFSU AND COMMISSIONING ASSISTANCE:

Carrying out Commissioning activities such as Blinding, De-blinding (including supply and fabrication of Blind plates), steaming & flushing of pipe lines and equipments, to make ready for hot works for unit shutdown with required tools & consumables, Valves operations, valve dropping, cleaning of strainers, Flange tightening and any other activities / assistance etc. as per Commissioning specifications / procedure and instruction of Engineer-in-charge including supply of necessary hand tools, equipments / machineries, consumables (electrodes, filler wires, gas, card board, target plate, scaffolding etc. wherever required) and with the single point responsibility of Contractor's supervision. Note: This Manpower shall be utilized during shutdown assistance activities and for Commissioning assistance requirement over and above that already described elsewhere in the Price Schedule. One Manday is 12 Hour duty. Pre Commissioning requirement is already covered in the respective Items Unit Rates and within the CONTRACTOR's responsibility for Mechanical Completion. Unit Price for Supply, Fabrication and installation of Blind plates shall be paid separately as per Unit rate of Structural Steel Item.

C.S/ SS /A.S PIPING

HIRING OF CRANES (OPTIONAL ITEM) INCLUDING MOBILIZATION AND DEMOBILIZATION CHARGES, CRANE OPERATORS, FUEL, LUBRICANTS, ALL CONSUMMABLES AND ACCESSORIES ETC. (10 HRS. IN DAY BASIS). USES FOR MORE THAN 10 HRS. IN A DAY SHALL BE PAYABLE ON NORMAL RATE PRORATE BASIS. The deployment of Cranes under this item is for the special cases and for Scope of work other than normal scope of work mentioned in other items of this SOR. The requirement of hiring of Crane shall be as decided by OWNER & CONSULTANT and shall be communicated accordingly during execution of Work.
