DOMESTIC AREA Comprehensive maintenance of DG sets including Alternator for routine check up once in a month of the engine for the smooth functioning and carrying out the complete as per the Manufacturers instructions all as specified and directed by the Engineer - in - Charge for 160/200KVA DG sets installed at Dornier FTD & New pump house. Note : Items costing upto Rs.500/- which are not catered in the Sch also part of this check.

B - CHECK (Every 250 Hrs operation or Every 6 month which ever is earlier ) (i) Repeat 'A' Lubrication (ii) Changing Engine Oil (iii) Record oil pressure FUEL SYSTEM (i) Check Hydraulic-Governor Oil (ii) Check Throttle Linkage (iii) Lubricate Ball joints of the throttle linkage of Hydraulic, Governor (iv) Change Fuel filter (v)Clean fuel tank breather AIR SYSTEM (i) Clean/Change Crancase Breather (ii) Check Air pipings COOLING SYSTEM (i) Check coolant in radiator (ii) ADD Coolant concentrate if required (iii) Check heat exchanger zinc plugs . Note :- Coolant oil and Engine Oil will bemeasured and paid separetly.

C CHECK (every 400 hrs operation or 1 year which ever is earlier) Repeat 'A' & 'b' check FUEL SYSTEM (i) Change Hydraulic Governor Oil COOLING SYSTEM (I) Clean radiator complete (Inner & Outer) complete opening & refixing (ii) Check fan HUB and water pump OTHER MAINTENANCE (i) Inspect following parts and replace as required (Altemator/Starter- Etc) (ii)Check Air cleaner ALTERNATOR to be carriedout with all checks. (i) Checking AVR for smooth functioning and repairing if required (ii) Bearing to be greased properly as per requirement (iii) Coupling bolts, nuts, rubber to be replaced as per the requirement (iv) All electrical connections to bechecked and insulated with taps etc, properly alternator work to be excuted with every check.

Servicing of radiator assembly complete for cleaning, cooling water spaces cleaning the inter cooler and Supply and fix replace u/rubber hose, pipes, irclip,clamps; cleaning of radiator mix .with appropriate cleaning agent, de-scaling by means of scale solvent aswell as neutralizing agent to arrest leakages by means of brazing etc. all as directed by the Engr-in-charge of following capacities:

M&L for servicing of self starter assembly of DG sets 24/12volts of following capacities by disc connecting the self starter assembly from the engine and dismantling, cleaning all accessories, replacing worn-out parts like carbon brushes, bushes, contact plates, jumping levels etc and rewinding the/s field coil and varnishing all as directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE : Major parts like armature, bentex,field coil, solenoid not inculed will be measured and paid separetly.

M/L overhauling the 100 KVA DG set [Make : CUMMINS ,Type : 6BTA ] installed at New Pump House ,removing engine from chassis and disconnected the fuel lines and exhaust connections and transported to work shop replacing u/s parts like piston -6 nos, rings 6-set ,cylinder liner -6 nos after cleaning the engine block and fixing the new parts like connecting rod bearing ,cylinder liners- 6 nos, set of joints complete, oil seals , reassembling the engine with new part after assembling cooling the engine , testing and commissioning ..etc as directed .

Removing head assy for overhauling of 160/125 KVA E/A (Cummins ) sets Engine head assy i/c replacing worn out parts like gaskets valve (Inlet/Exhaust) , Guide, inserts,stem seals, oil filter, fuel filters, O rings and head gaskets and grinding, lapping de-carbonizing .. etc and reassembling refixing tappet adjusting etc testing as required.

Repair servicing of 100 KVA PT pump assembly and injectors by replacing the unserviceable parts like centre shaft,loading spring,relief valve -02 Nos bearings,governors barrels & plunger,O rings kits,gasket kits,injector plunger & barrel,ball check and reassembling testing ... etc required

Repair and servicing of Turbocharger asssy and replacing the service kit and reassembling testing ..etc as required.

B - CHECK(Every 250 hours opeartion or Six month whichever is earlier) (a) Repeat the 'A' Checks (b) Service the oil bath type air cleaner (c) Replace the engine main lub oil filter element & sealing ring (d) Grease the water pump bearing Cleaning the button filter (e) Clean the button filter (f )Drain fuel filler bowls to remove sediments and water (g) Check baltery electrolyte level ,top up with distiIled water,clean terminals and apply petroleum jelly.

C check (Every 400 Hours opeartion or Nine month whichever is earlier) a) Repeat the'B' check (b) Replace the lubricant oil (TC engine for Gen-set application).Old oil should be drained out after warming the engine. (c) Replace the engine and turbocharger lubricant oil filler element and sealing ring (d) Check oil level in the fuel pump and top up if required (e) Drain radiator after warming engine change the water (f) Knock out soot from the exhaust silencer (g) Check and tighten all fasteners to the specified torque (h) Check the tighten all hose connection Check and tighten all Lubricant and fuel connection
