Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1, flat size 300mmx 180mm x 40mm.

Returning filling in,. Including spreading, levelling,. Watering and well ramming soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (ie soil) from site to a distance n. exc 50 mtrs away and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Testing the cables with high voltage DC testing machine and locating the fault in the cables by fault locating machine to pin point exact position of fault, disconnecting faulty 11 KV HT cables of different sizes from both ends, removal of Fault, Re-connections and testing of cables after removal of fault complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) 11 KV HT cable & joints shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule. (b) Retrieved old serviceable cable cover/bricks will be laid in trenches for cable protection. If extra PCC cover/bricks and sand required at site shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQs. (c) Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule.

Taking out faulty underground 1100 Volt LT cable of different sizes by excavation and removing bricks of any size and relaying in the same trenches or re routing after rectification of fault or replacing faulty portion of cable with new cable and removing of surplus soil and using new bricks as required. Note: (a) 1100 Volt LT cable & joints shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule. (b) Retrieved old serviceable bricks will be laid in trenches for cable protection. Material and labour for disconnecting faulty/burnt end or portion of cable by removing the cable from loop including necessary excavation & earth work, relaying and reconnecting the cable by removing faulty/burnt portion of cable and preparing fresh terminals with suitable size of thimbles for 25 Sqmm 3.5/4 core to 70 Sqmm 3.5 core of LT cable to LT Panel/pole/main switch complete all as directed.

Material and labour for emergency maintenance work of LT overhead line during breakdown by deploying skilled labour and electricians at faulty site having gang of minimum 4 persons including transportation and other tools and plant required at site for fault rectification. Note:- Contractor or his rep shall come to the site of breakdown within two hours of notification of breakdown. In case the contractor or his rep shall not come to the site of breakdown and start attending breakdown within two hours, a penalty of Rs 500 per fault per hour shall be imposed over contractor and shall be deduct from his dues.

Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 150 mm dia suitable for 0.6 mpa working pressure

Supply and fix in replacement air break switch gang operated tripple pole mechanically operated mechanism, switch air break gang operated mounted on 15 Nos insulator and steel frame with operating rod of 25 mm bore GI Pipe and locking arrangements worked from ground level for current rating 400 Amps, HT 11 KV grade including drop out fuses and necessary silver coper coating jumpers and making all electrical connections complete.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmx60cmx6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to galvanized lead wire 4mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I, connected to earth test point and the equipment on the other nuts and washers of galvanised ironside complete all as specified, including testing and commissioning complete all as directed.
