M and R to 156 Villages and Two Towns Combined Water Supply Scheme. Providing and maintaining regular water supply of the villages in Khallar Zone by engaging unskilled labour as valveman , Choukidar , skilled labour as meter reader. (2nd Call)

Item No. 1 : Providing & Maintaining Water Supply to Khallar Zone by operating valve of ESR's and distribution lines. The item includes maintaining level of water in ESR's operation of valves in such a way that water should be supplied equally to all the consumers in the village residing at low as well as higher levels. including disinfection of water by T.C.L. Powder, taking O.T. Test at various locations of the village maintaining record thereof by employing sufficient No. of Persons etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Item No. 2 : Providing skilled labour as Meter Reading to take water meter reading of consumers within specified time limit from various villages in Khallar Zone including preparation of meter reading register to be posted in computer for preparation of water bills, receiving the bills from Sub Division Officer, arranging them serially for distribution of bills to consumers within time limit, attending the complaints regarding bills, making recovery of bill amount from consumers and depositing the same zonal in-charge, attending review meeting of recovery at sub division officer or any other place and Cash Counter Person for collecting recovery on cash counter cabin as decided by Engineer-in-charge including cost of fuel for own vehicle etc. complete.

Item No. 3 : Providing skilled labour as Supervisor to monitor on every activity in Khallar Zone and to monitor valve man and meter reader in zone so as to perform their assigning duty to render best services of water supply to consumers within the zone, collecting MRB from meter reader to get verified from concern sectional engineer and then submitting the same to billing agency within specified time limit so get the printed bill in time, preparing the DCCR and submitting the same to concern Sectional Engineer/Recovery Section of the Sub Division, the item also includes checking of water meter status of consumers, leakages on various pipelines in zone and reporting the same to concern section engineer, attending the complaints of consumers in regards of bills, quality of water, inadequate pressure etc complete.
