REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF FIRE HYDRANT SYSTEM AND DG SETS AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS IN TECHNICAL AREA UNDER GE RD PASHAN

Routine maintenance consisting of normal repairs with periodical routine maintenance and testing of DG set complete (i.e. Engine, Alternator etc) under GE(I) R&D Pashan as below including all cosumables like cotton, waste cloth, kerosene oil etc. Maintenance will be carried out as and when ordered in writing by Engineer-in-Chagre, complete all as specified and directed :- (a) Change of engine oil, (b) Check clearance of suction and exhaust valves and adjust if required, (c ) Changing of oil filter, fuel filters, screen filters assembly (d) Changing of water filter element, (e) Topping up of coolent, (f) Change of Hydraulic governer oil, (g) Tightening of all nut bolts, (h) Greasing of all points, (j) Checking of any leaking in fuel and oil lines, (k) Cleaning of fuel tank by taking out the dirt and sludge, cleaning the tank thoroughly, (l) Repair of battery terminal made of Brass with necessary brazing to cable each set of 2 NOTE 1 : Labour charges for dismantling / taking down and replacement / refixing new parts required is deemed to be included in unit rate quoted. Material and labour for battery cable of 70 sqmm, PVC insulated, multi stranded, copper conductor single core cable with necessary copper lugs and connections complete all as specified and directed. Make : Polycab / Finolex / ICI.

Supply and top up of Premix Ethylene Glycol coolant for Engine Radiator complete all as specified and directed. Make : Castrol or techno commerical equivalent make of others.

Material and labour for battery terminals made out of brass with nut bolts & washers and necessary brazing to cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs flexible braided high pressure hydraulic hose including both ends chromium plated end connections check nuts and washers for the following :- For by pass filter / super by pass filter.

Material and labour for repair of AC alternator of 125 to 250KVA DG Set with replacement of burnt copper wiring of the same gauge and refixing the same after duly repair including testing and calibration complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for repair of AC alternator of 62.5 KVA to 100 KVA DG Set, with replacement of burn copper wiring of the same gauge and refixing the same after duly repair including testing and calibration complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cleaning of raditor,external cleaning by vaccum cleaner, petrol washing and taking out the carbon deposits from cooling fins and internal cleaning by using restor plus liquid and inhibitor corrosion of 62.5 KVA to 100 KVA DG Set complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for cleaning of raditor,external cleaning by vaccum cleaner, petrol washing and taking out the carbon deposits from cooling fins and internal cleaning by using restor plus liquid and inhibitor corrosion of 125 KVA to 250 KVA DG Set complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for cleaning of raditor,external cleaning by vaccum cleaner, petrol washing and taking out the carbon deposits from cooling fins and internal cleaning by using restor plus liquid and inhibitor corrosion of 625 KVA DG Set complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in reapir heavy duty maintenance free batteries suitable for AMF DG set of capacity 12 Volts, 180 AH including connecting brass and copper lugs with terminals. Make : Exide or equivalent standard Amron, Tata Green, Furukawa with replacement warranty 18 Months.

Supply only diluted sulphuric acid specific gravity 1250 for lead acid batteries complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only distilled water for batteries complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repairs 4 pole power contactor , coil voltage 230/415 Volts for following capacity :- (a ) 160 Amps to 200 Amps

(b) 225 Amps to 255 Amps

(c) 320 Amps to 400 Amps

Repair / modification of control wiring of AMF panel using AMF relay for smooth functioning of DG Set 125 to 250 KVA including renewal of wornout spare parts complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE:- (i) Spares to be renewed will be measured and paid separately as "Supply only". The rate quoted is deemed to include for minor spares. (ii) Labour charges for dismantling / taking down and replacement / refixing new parts as and when required is deemed to be included in unit rate quoted. (iii) Unit rate quoted shall also include for painting of AMF panel including welding work and replacement of hinges, nut, bolts as required.

Servicing / routine maintenance of AMF panel for DG sets by checking of fastener,checking of shock absorber for leakage,checking of top and bottom trip free mechanisam,closing and tripping spring assembly & split pin,spring cut off micro switches.,earth fault relays ,under voltage relays complete all as specified and directed. Note: Renewal of any spare part will be measured and paid separatelyas "Supply only"

Supplying and fixing Gun metal 63 MM. dia. Instantaneous pattern short branch pipes & 12.5 mm dia. Nozzle suitable for inter connections to hose pipe coupling as required ISI marked complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for prepration of old steel surface and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of red post office shade to pipes above ground level of different sizes of fire/deluge system complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-charge.

Material and Labour for cleaning of static water tank semi under ground sump open type capacity 1.40 lakhs ltrs by draining out complete residual water, scrapping the internal surface of walls of tanks with wire brush / brooms, for removing the fungus, algae particals , soil, sludge mud etc complete including rewashing the walls of tank with fresh water to ensure complete cleaning including white washing 2 coats on old surface and writing on the outer walls of the tank with synthetic enamel paint the date of cleaned, due date of next cleaning complete all as specified and directed including followings:- (a) Preparation of old surface shall include brooming or steel wire brushing; scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spots. (b) Provision of electric motor for dewatering of residual mud water from sump.

Dismantling of damaged portion of valve pit chamber wall and Material and labour for Brick work with sub class 'B' brick straight or curved on plan exc 6m and built in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster from damaged portion of valve pit chamber brick wall surface including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc and Material and labour for rendering in CM 1:4 ,10mm thick on fair faces of finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.
