A) Erection + Supply

3 Nos. complete earthing sets for per transformer installation, each consisting of 40 mm dia × 3.0 m long G.I. pipe (medium class) electrode, buried vertically in ground and surrounded by alternate layers of charcoal/coke and common salt to achieve the desired earth resistance. Each electrode shall be connected to the equipment with G.I. wire of 8 SWG, securely fastened using suitable clamps, bolts, and nuts. The top of each electrode shall be provided with a G.I. reducer, watering funnel with mesh, and inspection pipe for regular watering and maintenance. Each earth pit shall be provided with a C.I. earth chamber with removable cover, and a test link / earth resistance test point shall be provided for measurement. The work includes all materials, labour, excavation, refilling, and restoration of the surface, complete in all respects as per IS:3043 / REC Construction Standards and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
