SPECIAL REPAIRS TO ROOF FOR REPLACEMENT OF ASBESTOS SHEET WITH GALVALUME SHEET AND CERTAIN MISC WORKS AT BLDG NO P-34 B VEH MR BAY OF ASW EME UNDER GE(N) AHILYANAGAR.

Dismantling of Asbestos cement (corrugated, semicorrugated, etc.) sheets in roof coverings, including ridge & removing all rubbish/ dismantled material outside MD Land. all as directed.

Dismantling structural steel work including doors,gates but excluding framed truss etc.

Taking down eaves gutters and rainwater pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks, etc., including removal out of MD land (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fittings and accessories)

Providing and erecting two legged metal tubular scaffolding (cup lock type) of width 1200 to 1500mm largely free standing using H frames of tubular pipes of minimum 40mm diameter, with base plates fixed or adjustable with necessary clamps, coulders, brackets for projections, joint pins, pulleys and other accessories including steel angle or tubular pipe bracings at adequate intervals, access platforms of metal or timber planks of span not exceeding 1.5 metre centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work including provision of rubber inserts to pipe ends at point of contact with structure to avoid damage, including access ladders with intermidiate platforms. the scaffolding to be suitably braced and anchored to to the building using support systems created temporarily at the opening in walls using vertical and horizontal adjustable propson the exterior/interior side of building structure, 15 metre & more height, above ground level . The rate includes provision of high density plastic sheets covering to protect architectural details on the entire building face a nylon net to prevent all debris falling onto the pavement required and the safety platform at ground level coevering the pedestrain walkways. etc. complete. (The Floor area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once only for execution of all items for such works.

S&F Pre-painted Galvalume sheet shall be 0.50mm thick (total coated thickness), 550 Mpa minimum, yield strength. It shall be coated with hot dip alloy of 55% Aluminium 43.5% Zinc 1.5% Silicon and finished with resin coat on both surfaces @ 150 gm/sqm of coating (total both surfaces) having overall width and laid width as specified and shall be fixed using hot dip galvanized, self drilling and self tapping screws neoprene and EPDM washers. Penetrations and laps in sheet shall be sealed by using proper sealant profile. HDPE fillers shall be provided wherever required to close voids between sheets, sheet & fasteners etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engg-in-charge.

M&L for 1.00mm thick Plain, black, mild steel sheeting, in ridges, hips, valley gutters, drip and straight flashings (length and girth as fixed) completely with welding and soldering as required to maintian the size and shape of gutter as per length of shed all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Fixing only 1.00mm thick Plain, black, mild steel sheeting, in ridges,hips, valley gutters, drip and straight flashings (length and girth as fixed) completely with welding and soldering as required to maintian the size and shape of gutter as per length of shed all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge

M&L for Bands, straps, supports or stays for rainwater, ventilating pipes, including bolts, if required: hooks (stay), heavy, for large gates; hook and pintle hinges: large hasps and staples; chains; hand made sliding bolts; clamps; hold fasts; wall ties; hooks for hanging fans; plain angle cleats for securing purlins to wood trusses or rafters; knee piece inserts; two way and three way straps, plate washers and similar small articles conforming to Fe-290 Gde-E-165.

S & F Aluminium wind ties (40x3) mm for roof including securing bolts; as directed, drilling holes,notching for wire, etc.;including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc.,and similar work complete all as specified and directed by Engg-In-Charge.
