Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, trenches for laying of cable etc. and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Description all as per srl item No-01 above but depth exceeding 1.5 metres and not exc 3.0 metres.

Returning, filling in (soil) including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in any type of soil,complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated material not exceeding. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supplying and laying reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class EHV, type 1 with peak, size 450mm x 230mm x 50mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in-Charge.

Dry coarse sand as cushioning to under ground cable provided with layer of 8 cms deep before laying the cable and 15 cms deep after laying and stretching the cable, punned to 18 cm thick complete, all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE: only punned thickness shall be measured for payment purpose.

Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates as inr coping of pole and stay assembly complete, all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in stay assembly complete, all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in pole foundation complete, all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for disconnecting Transformer 11/0.433 KV of capacity 250 KVA to 500 KVA, removal of incoming & outgoing electric connection and taking down carefully from four pole/two pole structure/platform, shifting to workshop draining out transformer oil, opening of top frame taking out the core from the tank, dismantling core into the parts cleaning the tank and removing out the dust particles refixing the same after necessary realignment and heat treatment, connecting all the electric connections and making the Transformer absolutely leak proof, refilling the Transformer oil, testing the Transformer at workshop, transporting back to site and fixing to position as directed, making all electrical and earth lead connection commissioning and testing of Transformer on load at least for 12 hours, re-installing the transformer and making connection complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Srl item No 10 Contd … Note: (i) Transportation of Transformer shall be included in the quoted rate only. (ii) Cost of glass Sleeves/ ebonite sleeves insulating material tapes etc shall be included in the quoted rate only. (iii) Rewinding of HT/LT coils, cork sheet for top cover gasket, new brushing bush rod tap changer gear shall be measured and paid for separately under relvant item.

Material and labour for rewinding of HT coils Transformer 25 to 500 KVA with super enamelled double paper wound copper winding wire of existing size and no of turns alongwith insulating material like paper insulation cotton tape, bamboo strip, emery paper packing, varnishing etc, demoisturing by heating and drying etc including primaray testing, ratio testing, no load testing core bolt insulation tesing complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Rewinding and testing of transformer to be carried out through approved firm.

Material and labour for rewinding of LT coils Transformer 25 to 500 KVA with super enamelled double paper wound copper winding wire of existing size and number of turns alongwith insulating material like leathorised paper insulation cotton tape, wooden block packing, varnishing etc, demoisturing by heating and drying etc including primaray testing, ratio testing, no load testing core bolt insulation testing complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Rewinding and testing of transformer to be carried out through approved firm.

Material and labour for taking out old LT winding wire and reconditioning of existing LT copper coil with new insulating material, with leathorised paper insulation, cotton tapes, wooden block packing and PVC sleeves, soldering and varnishing, heating, drying and testing of coils for transformer of capacity from 25 to 500 KVA complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement HT brass/gun metal bush connecting rod of suitable length and dia with necessary nuts, washers and bushing packing to prevent oil leaking from the bushes and HT insulators including making necessary connections for transformer capacity from 25 KVA to 500 KVA complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement LT brass/gun metal bush connecting rod of suitable length and dia with necessary nuts, washers and bushes and LT insulators packing to prevent oil leaking from the bushes including making necessary connections for transformer capacity from 25 KVA to 500 KVA complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing silica gel breather assembly of metallic body for 11 KV transformer of capacity from 25 KVA to 500 KVAcomplete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing cork sheet gasket of 6mm thick cut to size/Shape for top cover of 11 KV transformer of capacity up to 500 KVA complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for dehydration, filtration of step down (33/11KV and 11/0.415 KV) transformer oil of various cap of transformers on running condition of transformer, dielectric strength not less than 60 KV in 2.5 mm gap (RMS) complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) Dehydration and filtration can be carried out at site by bringing filtration machine or other wise the same shall be got done from the manufacturing workshop of transformers. (ii) Testing oil shall be carried out before filtration and after filtration of insulating oil. (iii) Rates of dehydration machine used shall be included in the rate quoted.

Supply, heating and filling of transformer insulating oil HV grade having dielectric strength not less than 60 KV (RMS) at 2.5 mm gap high velocity in transformer complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for painting of transformer externally with two coat of spray painting with heat resistance/smoke grey heat resistance synthetic enamelled paint after cleaning rusted surface thoroughly with thinner and scrapper and preparing the surface to required standard including writing and marking such as MES No, SM No, Capacity, location of area feed, Date of oil filling on the body of transformer capacity upto 500 KVA complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for earthing complete with Galvanized earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600mm x3.15mm thick buried directly in ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level ) with top edge plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level and covered with alternate compact layer of comen salt and charcol dust, connected to Galvanized earth strip of size 25x4mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, chuck nuts and washers of Copper earth lead including PCC pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 RCC cover made out of cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) reinforced with TMT steel bars 8 mm dia @150 mm c/c both ways with suitable handle and angle iron 40x40x5mm frame, GI medium grade watering pipe 20mm bore and funnel with wire mesh light grade protection pipe 40mm bore up to main board complete as shown on electrical plate No 5 of MES Sch 2009 (Part-I) and connected to earthing test point all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Srl item No 22 Contd … Notes :- Cost of following items are deemed to be included in unit rate:- (a) 15 mm nominal bore light grade GI protection pipe 7.5 mtr long for protection of earthing lead from mechanical injury or tempering. (b) Requisite quantity of common salt and charcoal. (c) Testing of earthing. Note: On testing after completion of earthing, if the desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk and cost to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of aluminium strip of size 25x3 mm with saddles and fixing screws on porcelain insulator/spacer fixed at every 1 mtr length as lightening conductor for lightening arresters on HT poles/Transformer including necessary nut & bolts complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning HT underground cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanized steel strip and overall PVC sheathed 11000 volts grade (earthed) of cross sectional area of size 120 sq mm 3 core complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Excavation, earthwork and GI Tubing shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items.

Description all as per Srl item No 24 above but size of cable 95 sqmm 3 core.

Material and labour for Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrinkable end type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 sqmm and jointing materials for making joints and testing complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Description all as per Srl item No 26 above but size of cable 120 to 185 sqmm.

Description all as per Srl item No 26 above but size of cable 240 to 300 sqmm.

Supply and erection in vertical position Steel tubular swaged poles erected truly vertical or planted as strut complete with 300x300x6 mm thick mild steel base plate continuously welded at bottom of pole and MS sheet 2 mm thick plug welded at top, B-118 finial taper cap,bolts,nuts & screws, poles made out of ERW MS tubing conforming to IS 2713 Part-II. Type 410-SP-55 (11.00 metres long) including drilling of holes of required size for fixing of cross arms, painting the exposed surfacs of pole with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer and two coats of black bitumenous paint internally & portion embedded in concrete, making five black and white alternate strips 30 cm upto 1.5mtr height from top of coping in strips and marking pole No. with black paint at suitable height including dismantling of existing pole & making good complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fixing in replacement switch air break gang operated triple pole mechanically operated from ground level, mounted on insulators and steel frame (12 insulator type) outdoor type suitable for vertical installation single break provided with locking arrangement consisting of MS channel, HT post top insulator with drop out fuses operating rod 25mm bore GI pipe medium grade confirming to relevant IS, current rating 200 Amp and voltage 11 KV including jumpering, lead of wire/cable as directed at site including dismantling existing/unserviceable air break gang operated switches vertical/horizontal mounted including insulators and operating mechanism and removing from site, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement Lightning arresters expulsion type complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 kilo amp,11000 Volts grade conforming to IS-3070 part-I, complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement Lightning arresters station heavy duty metal oxide gap less complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge and capacity are as per exist LA at yard & suitable for 33 KV complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacment of ACSR conductor of any size and type from over head HT / LT poles including binding at site to insulator with suitable size of binding wire etc including taking down existing worn out old broken ACSR conductor of any size and type and length at any position from LT / HT poles complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of Insulator Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white,brown or green including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 150 mm height, 150 mm dia for 11000 volts grade complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of old painted surface of HT steel tubular pole and painting with two coat of aluminium paints and upto 1.5 mtrs height from bottom in alternate layer by applying synthetic enamel paint in black and white colour each strip 30 cm and cutting vegetation growth all around and on the poles up to 1 mtr radius complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Calibration of digital/IDMT protective relays of 11 KV panel (VCBs), testing of 11 KV control and relay panel includes main protection relay. Backup protection(O/C &E/F) relay for all features like inverse O/C, Inverse E/F, high set O/C, high set E/F etc along with pickup & dropoff volts for all auxillary relays like master trip, trip circuit supervision, checking and testing of wiring connections at all terminal points/ at relays, inspecting wiring for any open circuit, short circuit & damaged insulation, and preparation inspection data sheet of existing feeder re-programming input data into relays (OCHS,EFHS, OCLS, EFLS, CTR, TDS etc) complete testing by injecting current in CT primary and measure secondary current at 11 KV , control and relay panel for metering in service through current injection in CT primary and ratio and including complete polarity test complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: All testing shall be carried out in presence of Engr-in-Charge and test certificate shall be provided.

Material and labour in replacement of 11 KV single phase in door Resin cast CT of ratio 400/5-5VA class 1.0 – 5P10 burden 15VA – 15VA insulation level 28 KV/75 KV as per IS-2705 complete, all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and Fixing GI tubing light grade 80mm dia including all fittings, along the wall/in trenches/in duct/in culvert/road crossing and including provisioning of suitable mild steel flat iron clamps and bolts, nuts and double washers etc for holding of GI pipe alongwith poles complete, all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing of danger notice plate board of size 250 mm x 200mm for HT 11000 volts system made of 1.6 mm thick steel sheet , vitreous enameled white , with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps ,bolts,nuts of approved size, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for loose filling in substations, under poles, under transformers of hard core broken to gauge not exc 40 mm broken stone/boulders incl leveling and spreading llime stone powder under stones complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for highly HT insulating opaque red coloured ANTI TRACK COMPOUND SPRAY 320 of MOSIL LUBRICANTS that forms flexible chemical resistant coating to class H winding for electrical apparatus, in 500 ml spray bottles to protect HT equipments, bus bar, CTs, PTs from current leakage due to moisture complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Chemical spray (DC> 2-26 having container 415ml/300g for precision blended multipurpose product for preventing corrosion penetrates, lubricates, displaces and seals out moisture release rusted mechanism cleanse etc. complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for spraying chemical (Roundup) on area to remove unwanted vegetation/grass at various locations as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: (i) Labour and equipments to spray chemical on required area are incl in quoted rates. (ii) Spray will be repeated quarterly or as per direction of Engr in Charge.

Surface excavation not exc 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in hard/dense soil around the plateform of transformer, GODs, Switch, DG set at E/M installation inside the perifery of installation and depositing removal materials 50 metres away from the site complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for HT OC protection relay for 33/11 KV transformer control panel , 3 phase, In-1A/5A, fn : 50 Hz, Vx : 18-135 V DC, including dismantling of old unsv protection relay and necessary setting of new relay with all connected tripping mechanism/power transformer control relays and submit necessary test report complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrinkable straight through joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 sqmm and jointing materials for making joints and testing complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Description all as per Srl item No 63 above but size of cable 120 to 185 sqmm.

Supply and fixing in repair/replacement Bimettallic Clamp or T clamp or CT Clamp or Cross Clamps for connection of dog conductor with Cable end, CTs, NCTs, Transformer HT Bushes complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Each clamp will be considered as one item of work.

Material and labour in replacement of Galvanised steel wire 4.0 mm dia for continuous earth wire/cradle guard for HT overhead line 11/0.415 KV line complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
