Construction of Head Works

Item No. 1 (11): Cutting jungles and trees upto 10 cm girth including uprooting roots and stumps and removing the same from site of work etc, complete as directed.(c) Heavy Jungles.

Item No.2(22.A): Earthwork in excavation of foundation of Headwork in all types of soils as per design and drawing including dressing the foundation, shoring etc. removing the surplus spoils by head lead to a safe distance from the working place & depositing required spoils in uniform layers, dressing, watering, breaking clods to not more than 10 cm cube with compensation all complete as directed at site (including bailing out stagnant rain water where necessary).A) All types of soils except soil mixed with gravel and boulder (for normal lead of 30 m & lift of 1.5m)

Item No. 3 : Supply of Z-type sheet pile of effective width 0.69 M,thickness 8mm and MT average weight 68.30 kg/M including loading and unloading.

Item No. 4(126): Labour for placing in position of imported Z-type Sheet piles including cutting to proper size and making holes etc. and driving it to the specified level and lines including painting sheet piles with two coat of anti-corrosive paints (piles to be embedded shall not be painted) including carriage from Departmental Godown complete as directed.

Item No.5(57): Cement Concrete work in proportion 1: 3: 6 with aggregate of size 13mm to 38 mm free from dust and dirt and other foreign materials including roding (vibrating), bailing out wate where necessary and carrying with supplying all materials complete as directed. (Without shuttering) (Temporary arrangement for obtaining clear water should be made at site.) (B)Hard Broken stone 13mm to 38mm size.(ii) With Shuttering & Without Dewatering.

Item No.6(64): Reinforced Cement Concrete work in proportion 1: 2: 4 with aggregate of size 13 mm to 38 mm free from dust and dirt and other foreign materials including roding (vibrating), bailing out wate where necessary and carrying with supplying all materials complete as directed. (Temporary arrangement for obtaining clear water should be made at site).(B) Hard Broken stone 13mm to 38mm size.(ii) With Shuttering & Without Dewatering. Reinforced Cement Concrete work in proportion 1: 2: 4 with aggregate of size

Item No.7 (63): Reinforced Cement Concrete work in proportion 1: 1 ½: 3 with aggregate of size 6 mmto 20 mm free from dust and dirt and other foreign materials including roding (vibrating), bailing out wate where necessary and carrying with supplying all materials complete as directed.(Without shuttering) (Temporary arrangement for obtaining clear water should be made at site.) (B) Hard Broken river stone 6mm to 20mm size. (ii)With Shuttering & Without Dewatering.

Item No.8(65): Supplying fitting fixing and laying in position M.S. rod/Torsteel/TMT bars of all size as per design and drawing as required including cutting,bending,cranking with necessary lappage and tying with black wire complete as directed.

Item No.9(67): 12 mm thick cement plastering including clearing surface and curing etc. complete as directed. (ii) in prop. 1 : 4

Item No.10(2.A): Collection of one man size hard river boulder of size 23 cm to 30 cm including loading, unloading, stacking at measurable stacks at site not more than 1 m height including paying forest royalty, sale tax etc. complete as directed.

Item No.11(6.A &B): Carriage of boulders, gravels, metal screening, sand etc by truck including loading,unloading and stacking in measurable stacks at site, complete as directed. For Normal Road upto 25.00 KM.

Item No.12(27): Labour charge for pitching with one man size boulder including dressing and ramming the seat to proper size and slope with voids filling and local carriage of boulders from a distance of 50 M with lift upto 3 M, complete as directed.

Item No.13(9.a & b): Collection and supply of gravel free from dust, dirt and other foreign materials, paying forest royalty, sales tax etc. at work site including stacking in measurable stacks complete as directed. (Considering average distance of 25 Km and 50 km). Hard broken river gravels 6mm to 20mm size.Distance of work site from quarry @25KM.

Item No.14(23.7): Supply of quick setting concrete admixture of specified brand including litre loading and unloading,carriage to the work site,complete as directed.

Item No.15(23): Earthwork in back filling of structures with earth obtained from outside borrow pits, filling in 15 cm layers ramming, dressing and compaction and watering including paying compensation of land if any with lead up to 30 M and lift 1.5 M complete as directed.

Item No.16(149): Supplying and laying of filter bajries in the gaps between the cement concrete protection block complete as directed. (6 mm to 20 mm size aggregates Considering average distance from quarry to the work site = 25.00 Km)

Item No.17(47.a): Cost of dewatering in excavation of earthwork by running required no. of pumps including the cost of POL, hire charge, labour charge etc. and handling for a depth of maximum 3.2 M, complete as directed.

Item No.18: Construction of R.C.C. railing in prop 1:2:4 in situ with vertical railing post of size 0.2x0.2 & 0.9m height above wheel guard at 1.2m c/c & 2 lines of RCC railing of size 0.12x0.18 providing reinforcement with 12 dia torsteel in railing post & raliling & stirrups @ 13cm c/c with 6mm dia M.S. rod in both the member tying with black wire including 12mm thick cement plastering in prop 1:3 including curing,shuttering vibrating etc. complete as directed( including supplying of all materials)

Item No.19(128): Supplying, fitting, fixing of steel gate of cross & Head Regulator as per design & drawing & specification including supplying of steel beams, channel section, Rubber seal etc including all materials embedded partly where necessary & manually operated chorister equip mints including carriage of all materials to work site complete.

Construction of Diversion channnel

Item No. 1(18.A):Earth work in excavation of Diversion / feeder channel to the designed section and grade by depositing the spoils in the form of an embankment on either side to the designed section and grade in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick including clearing light jungle and trees upto 15 cm dia, uprooting roots and stamps from the seat of embankment and canal free from all vegetation including breaking clods not more than 10mm cube ramming, dressing, bailing out stagnant rain water where necessary complete as directed with lead upto 30 m and lift 1.5m. a) Ordinary soil :

Item No. 2(23): Earth work in back filling of structure with earth obtaining from outside borrow pits, filling with 15cm layer ramming, dressing and compaction and watering including paying compensation of land, if any with lead up to 30m and lift 1.50m complete as directed.

Construction of Afflux Bund & River training works

Item No. 1(14.A): Earth work in filling the marginal bund/guide bund/afflux bund/ canal embankment etc. to the design section and grade by obtaining earth from outside borrow pits and filling in uniform layers not exceeding 15cm thick including clearing light jungles, removing trees up to 15 cm dia. and uprooting roots & stumps from the seat of embankment and borrow pit area, embankment before throwing earth , profiling etc. paying compensation of earth borrowed from private or forest land if any lead up to 30m and lift upto 1.5m ,complete as directed.

Item No.2(2.A): Collection of one man size hard river boulder of size 25 cm to 30 cm including loading,unloading,stacking at measurable stacks at site not more than 1.00 M height including paying forest royalty ,sale tax etc, complete as directed.

Item No.3(6.A &B): Carriage of boulders, gravels, metal screening, sand etc by truck including loading,unloading and stacking in measurable stacks at site, complete as directed. For Normal Road upto 25.00 KM.

Item No.4(27): Labour charge for pitching with one man size boulder including dressing and ramming the seat to proper size and slope with voids filling and local carriage of boulders from a distance of 50 M with lift upto 3 M, complete as directed.

Item No.5(31.C): Construction of boulder sausage work of size 1.00 m x 1.00 m, including suppying of all materials with 23 cm to 30 cm size river boulder collected from a lead of 50.00 KM encaged in 15cmx15cm mesh in 8G/10G hexagonal wire netting of filling th voids between boulder tied with 10G/18G galvd tying wire at 30 cm apart laid in position as per direction including necessary local carriage of materials paying necessary forest royalty including providing 1.00 no. of whole Jati bamboo horizontal runner along the top of the sausage with vertical bhaluka bamboo post 1.50 m apart driven at least 0.60 m below ground and tying with sausage etc. all complete as directed.

Construction of R.C.C. Canal

Earthwork in excavation in foundation of canal structures in all types of soils as per design and drawing including dressing the foundation, shoring etc. removing the surplus spoils by head load to safe distance from the working place and depositing the required spoils in uniform layers, dressing, watering, breaking clods to not more than 10 mm cube with compensation, complete as directed at site.(Including bailing out stagnant rain water where necessary).

Soling in foundation at all levels including filling intersides, ramming etc complete as directed and of specifiedthickness with 9 cm brick on flat including sand packing.

Cement Concrete work in proportion 1: 3: 6 with aggregate of size 13mm to 38 mm free from dust and dirt and other foreign materials including roding (vibrating), bailing out wate where necessary and carrying with supplying all materials complete as directed. (Without shuttering) (Temporary arrangement for obtaining clear water should be made at site). A) river Singles.(ii) With Shuttering & Without Dewatering.

Reinforced Cement Concrete work in proportion 1: 2: 4 with aggregate of size 13 mm to 38 mm free from dust and dirt and other foreign materials including roding (vibrating), bailing out wate where necessary and carrying with supplying all materials complete as directed. (Temporary arrangement for obtaining clear water should be made at site.) A) River Singles.(ii) With Shuttering & Without Dewatering.

Supplying, fitting, fixing and laying in position M.S. rod/ Torsteel/ TMT bars of all sizes as per design and drawing as required including cutting, bending, cranking with necessary lappage and tying with black wire complete as directed.

12 mm cement plastering including clearing surface and curing, complete as directed. (i) In proportion 1:3

Earth work in all soils in canal embankment and bed filling as per design section and grade by cart carriage for a minimum distance of 1 Km. including paying compensation of earth obtained from private land if any, loading, unloading and stacking in measurable stacks not more than 1m height, spreading the same in 15 cm thick including clearing light jungles, removing trees up to 15cm dia uprooting roots and stumps etc. from the seat of embankment, profiling with all lift complete as directed. (Payment will be made after 12.5% shrinkage allowances from the gross quantity.)

Turfing with grass sode of largest possible rectangular and minimum size 30 cm X 30 cm X 10 cm placing closely after dressing hard the surface and fixing sode with split bamboo pegs, watering till the grass grows with lead up to 90 M and lift of 1.50 M, complete as directed.

Construction of 150mm dia Hume Pipe Canal Outlet
