Special Eligibility Criteria

   Regular order will be placed on bidders having satisfactory past performance credentials of supplying same/Similar item (Similar means goods/items of relevant category) to any Zonal Railways / Production Units within last 03 (three) Financial Years and current Financial Year up to the date of tender opening. Only such offers shall be eligible for placement of order. The bidder should submit documentary proof i.e R-Note, Inspection certificate along with Supplied PO, CRN/CRAC of GeM Contract etc in support of their claim of credentials /past performance along with offer. If the bidder submits only the PO copies, then railway reserves the right to verify the performance against such PO from the IMMS database. Only if satisfactory performance is found against such completed PO then only the performance shall be considered as eligible.

   Time is the essence of contract. As time is the essence of contract, the bidder is to note that the delivery schedule given in the bid document and quote accordingly. Vague delivery period i.e. 2-28 weeks, 2-3 months or 60-days to 90 days etc.or a very high delivery period (usually more than two times) compared to Railways specific delivery period in bid document may be considered commercially unresponsive and the offer may be ignored
