PAINTING TO RUNWAY CENTRE LINE, SIDE STRIPS, LINKS AND CERTAIN MISC WORKS IN AIRFIELD AT TECH AREA AT AF STN GWL

M&L for scrapping of existing water base paint/reflective paint on rigid/ flexible pavement of runway by manually with wire brush, steel scraper or mechanically and brooming down the surface including removal of debris outside the runway etc complete all as specified and directed

Material and Labour for one coat of water base paint (IS 164 marked) for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on bituminous/concrete surfaces exceeding 10cm width, with Machine (Air/ Airless spray applications). Colour of Water base paint will be White, Golden yellow, Deep orange, PO Red and Black, as per the requirement in Air field complete all as specified and directed .

Description all as per item no 2 here-in-before but one coat of road marking paint by Air spray applications to obtain WFT 375 microns including the application of high index glass beads @ 500 grams per Sqm (TTB 1325 type III and having refractive index 1.9). The painting shall be done for the existing Taxiway/Dispersal markings exceeding 10 cm width, as per the requirement in Air field complete all as specified and directed.

Description all as per item No 4 here-in-before but, including Black Border complete all as specified and directed

M&L one coat of synthetic enamel paint on brick/stone/concrete/AC sheet/ plastered/ wooden surface etc of any description not otherwise described, over 10 cm width or girth including preparation of old /previously treated surface complete all as specified and directed.

Description all as per item No 6 here-in-before but on steel or iron surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair framed work using anodised aluminium frame of size 100X44x2.5mm thick etc as in DTGM board/sign board with aluminium snap beading/Cleats for fixing of commercial grade retro reflective sheet complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S& F in repair retro reflective sign board made out of 3mm thick Aluminium composite panel sheet covered with commercial grade retro reflective sheeting as well as letter or symbol shall be pasted with pressure sensitive adhesive provides clear visual information in low light and poor weather any width and colour in white, red, yellow or black as in DTGM board/sign board complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for shifting and refitting old DTGM board/signage board etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B1( using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 ( using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling etc complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing in repairs commercial grade reflective sheeting with pressure sensitive adhesive provides clear visual information in low light and poor weather any width and colour in white, red or yellow as in DTGM board/sign board complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting of grass, shrubs, vegetation of any type & height with mechanically/manually means upto ground level including scrapping and making the runway shoulder area neat and clean by removing/ throwing the rubbish to a distance not less than 500 mtrs complete all as specified and directed

M&L for cleaning down the old treated surface of under/over shoot area of runway to remove dust, dirt by wire brushes and brooming down the surface, cleaning with water and applying evenly one coat of cement base paint complete all as specified and directed.
