Special repair works for the existing DFO office building converting to WRD Kancheepuram section office building at Kancheepuram in kancheepuram District

SCAFFOLDING: All the areas which are under consideration for the repair & rehabilitation are to be provided with double legged scaffolding.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Labour charges for chipping the spalled and old concrete of the slab and beam.

ANTICORROSIVE COATING: Clean the rebars using the rust remover if there exists any rust.

SHEAR CONNECTORS : Drilling 10mm dia/ 12 m dia holes up to a depth of 75mm maximum and fix 8mm dia or 10 mm dia L shaped anchor rods

ADDITIONAL REINFORCEMENT : Check the diameter of the existing rebar and if the diameter is less than 30% of the original diameter and provide additional reinforcement.

PROVISION OF GALVANIC ANODES : Prior to installation of the Galvashield XP units, check the continuity of the steel reinforcement.

EPOXY JOINTING COMPOUND: Clean the concrete surface, remove the loose particle if any.

Form work: Supply of slurry tight form work which should not deform and leak due to pressure of micro concrete.

PPM: Mark the area fo carrying the polymer modified mortar and cut the same to a regular section. Clean the surface free from dust.

Microconcrete: Stock sufficient quantity of RENDROC RG and 12 mm down graded chips on site to enable completion of pouring in a continuous operation.

CURING : Immediately after striking the form work or after completion of the repair works at PMM.

Core Cutting - Beam concrete pouring pourpose - using electrical operated core cutting machine make 75 mm dia holes.

Plastering thickness of 12mm thick added with admixture at 150ml/ bag of cement bag.

Disposal of building rubbish similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical.

Slab Waterproofing work - SURFACE PREPARATION : Labour charges for chipping grainding and cleaning the roof slab floor area clean with water jet cleaning machine operated with electrical.

Water proofing coating :Water wash the surface and keep thesurface will be dry and there should not be water stagnation slabwall area.

MICROFINE CEMENT GROUTING - Top Slab Area :Drill 19mm dia holes in the weathering course area & concrete surface area where ever it is porous. a) Drilling and fixing ports

b) Injection of Microfine cement
