Removing loose and broken concrete by chiselling/ mechanically etc upto a depth of 80 to 100mm from the roof slab, column, beam and similar structural members, cutting edges, cleaning the dismantled portion with wire brush etc to make the reinforcement naked and remove dust, dirt and other foreign particle etc and washing with clean water with pressure and removing rubbish off the premises to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs including necessary safety precautions and scaffolding up to a height of 14.00 mtrs complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for CRS TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia complete.

S&F for Hard drawn steel wire fabric weight not exceeding 4kg per square metre, cut to lengths, bent to shape required and tying with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm in dia welding to existing reinforcement complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for applying one coat of polimer bonding coat of approved make as specified to bind old concrete surfaces of soffit of slab, column, beam and similar structural members for new gunited/ cement surface complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed by Engg-in-charge.

M&L for applying first layer of bonding Coat of approved make as specified and fix Polymer cloth reinforcement of 200 gms per sqm on the top of wet coat and finally applying second layer of bonding coat complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

M & L for non shrink, cementitious Micro concrete mixed with 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate in the ratio by weight 18kg aggregate: 25kg micro concrete respectively or as per manufacturer's instructions, as in sides and soffits of beams, jacketing of columns, roof slab and similar structural members including necessary form work for fair finished surfaces. The formwork shall be water tight to facilitate pouring of micro concrete complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed.

M & L for pressure guniting 40mm average thickness in cement mortar 1:3 on all affected area of RCC structures including necessary scaffolding, modyfying with mortar with admixture in proportion as per manufacturer instruction of approved make as specified complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed by the Engg-in-charge. Note:The rate quoted shall include cost of admixture.

M&L for cutting out existing cracks in concrete surfaces/ masonry wall/ RCC slab, forming a 'V' Groove of 25mm x 40mm size, cleaning the groove thoroughly with air blower, priming the groove with mixture of polymer of approved make as specified using spray gun/ brush, filling the groove with putty of Crack filler mixed in proportion as per manufacturer instructions and finally applying a seal coat of approved make as specified of same as of primer coat with brush complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed by Engg-in-charge.

M & L for applying polymer modified cement mortar rendering 15mm average thick in CM 1:3 on gunited/ masonary surface duly mixing polymer finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed by Engg-in-charge.

M&L GI wire netting 0.90mm dia and 12mm mesh lathing to wood or metal studding joists etc. in walls, ceilings, stanchions, beams, etc. including all laps,cutting and waste as in repairs in patches n.exc 5sqm each, including drilling holes and fixing mesh with suitable clamps and nails as required all as specified

M & L for applying curing compound of approved make as specified on newly Micro concreted / gunited surface for complete curing as per manufacturer's instructions and complete all as directed

M&L for drilling 15mm dia holes in to RCC slab / wall / Column /beams to a depth of 100 to 150mm & provide shear connector of 12mm dia rod of length of 150mm bent to "L" shape with 75mm to be embedded in hole & 75mm to be used as dowel, fixed with polyster resin grout mixed mechanically and pour the same into the hole and insert the shear connector and finish the top; allow the same to set complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed. Providing and fixing 12 mm diameter aluminum / PVC injection nipples and securing the same as directed & Providing and injecting cementitious grout using CEBEX-112 additive of ‘Fosroc’ at the rate of 225 grams per bag of cement and using suitable mechanical gun/pump including mixing etc complete.

RELIEVING STRUCTURAL MEMBERS Relieving Structural members such as column, beam and slabs of their superimposed loads partially or fully by provision of adjustable steel props, frames etc. including providing necessary timber runners, bracing, jacking up arrangement all Complete to the satisfaction of Engineer in charge (Removing and redoing of brickwork, if required, shall be paid separately.

Note for item No. 1.01 to 1.17: (a) BOO Shall be detailed by CWE to ascertain the actual quantities of materials (approved chemicals, cement etc..,) required for execution of rehabilitation work (BOQ item No. 1.01 to 1.17). The BOO Shall also worked out the details based on a sample patch (Area not less than the 10 Sqm) and determined the quantities of ingredients ( i.e., approved chemicals, cement etc., ) which will be more than the theoritical calculations due to wastage of materials on rebound during application of site. (b) Based on findings of BOO, the materials (approved chemicals, cement etc.,) brought to the site for incorporation in the work shall be checked and consumption during execution shall also be monitored accordingly. (c) Rehabilitaion of work (BOQ item No. 1.01 to 1.17) shall be executed through MES approved consultancy/agency. Approval of agency shall be obtained in writing from CWE before commencement of work. (List of MES approved structural consultants are enclosed as Appx 'C' to Particular Specifications.

After completion of structural rehabilitation repairs vide above items, the enhanced strength to be checked by MES enlisted consultant other than the agency carrying out structural rehabilitation by conducting tests at the same locations of similar tests carried out earlier and equal number of tests in other locations as directed by Engr-in-Charge in the (G+3) Configuration buildings are as mentioned in Appx "A" to PS. Notes: a) The locations of intial NDT done should be mapped and noted by the contractor in conjuction with the MES rep to ensure conduct of the NDTs at same location post completion of the structural rehabilitation work. b) The test report for each bldg should be submitted immediately after completion of the work on said bldg. 85% of payment only w.r.t structural repairs will be paid before submission of reports. Balance 15% Payment w.r.t structural repairs will be released after submission of report obtained from the consultant enlisted in MES. c) . The test results obtained after structural rehabilitation should be better than the result observed intially before strengthening at the same location and other locations of additional tests done. d) Additional NDT tests also to be carried out through MES enlisted structural consultant as per Appx 'A' at locations of bldgs as directed by Engr-in-Charge to assess the overall imporvement of structural strength of the bldg. e) The quoted rate applicable for each building
