REPAIR TO PQC PCC AND BITUMINOUS ROAD AT CERTAIN PLACES FROM OP-4000 TO OP-19000 INCLUDING APPROACHES TO OPS, MAIN ROAD TOWARDS BHIMPUR, KUMARPUR, SITE-A, B AND C AT PXE ITR CHANDIPUR UNDER AGE BR-II CHANDIPUR

Scarifying or picking graveled, macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area n. exc. 400 Sqm and depth n. exc. 100 mm removing material and stacking complete all as specified and directed.

M&L and compacting 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with mechanical paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 8 to 10 tonne static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing unsurfaced WBM/WMM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked, mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressore/mechanical means to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 10kg/10sqm on WBM/WMM surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness laid in single layer with binder content using paving bitumen VG-30 as per job mix formula subject to minimum 5.50% by weight of total mix and coarse aggregate of grading-1 including filler laid by mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with vibratory power roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed. Note - In the event of increase in percentage of binder content as per job mix formula, nothing extra shall be admissible and quoted rate are deemed to include for the same.

M&L for providing and laying of bituminous macadam using crushed stone aggregate of granite/trap/basalt of specified grading, premixed in hot mix plant with bituminous binder content (VG-30) @ minimum 4% by weight of total mix, carrying mix material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with mechanical paver to the required gradient, level, alignment and camber and rolled with vibratory power roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity to achieve the desired compaction complete all as specified and directed. Note - In the event of increase in percentage of binder content as per job mix formula, nothing extra shall be admissible and quoted rate are deemed to include for the same.

Repairs to pot holes any depth, n. exc. 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg/10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous mecadam, well rammed and sealed with binder (paving bitumen VG-30) @ 9.8 Kg/10 Sqm blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed mecadam, binder and chipping), depth of pot holes exceeding 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing road surfaces and marking 2.50 mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour with reflectorising glass beads extremely high skid resistance @ 250 gm/sqm confirming to BS 3262-1989 by using special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction, the finished surface to be uniformly levelled and free from streaks & holes complete all as specified and directed.
