Part 1 :Strengthening of the Road to Palaniyur to Sevanakaraiyampatty KM 0/0 - 1/2 Estimate Amount Rs.25.80 Lakhs

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes ,scrubs,saplings and trees of girths upto 300mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlie and disposal of unserviceable material and stacking of serviceable materials to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150mm thickness as per technical specification clause 201. etc. comp.

Earth work excavation from borrow pits for filling in all classes of soils, such as gravelly soil hard red earth shales, murrams gravel stoney earth and earth mixed with 50% lair sized boulders and hard gravel soil exept sand and hard rock requiring blasting as per SS 20A (Box cutting)

Providing and Laying Gravel to a compacted thick including cost & conveyance of gravel from approved sources to work site including labour for spreading, watering and compacting by Power roller to achieve the required Proctor density at 100% compaction

Providing 75mm consolidated thickness W.B.M. for Top Layer sing 1Cum of grade III metal of 63,53,45, 22.4mm & 11.2mm IRC Size HBG metal 0.24cum of unscreened gravel whose PI VAlue is less then '6' for blindage cost and conveyance of all materials from approved quarries to road side and stacking of materials to departmental standard metric and gauge for premeasurement including labour for laying spreading new metals and consolidation by 8-10 tonne power roller etc., complete

Applying tack coat over WBM surface (not treated with primer) using 4Kg of bituminous emulsion per 10 Sqm. including cost of bituminous emulsionincluding conveyance of bituminous emulsion to actual work spot handling charges including labour charges for brushing, cleaning and preparing the surface for laying the tack coat and labour and machinery charges for applying the required quantity of bituminous emulsion including hire, fuel and running charges for all tools and plants employed for the work including all other incidental charges such as barricading and providing danger lights, flags etc., complete as per standard specification.

Providing and layiing pre-mix carpet 20mm thickness using 0.18cum of 13.2 IRC machine crushed metal 0.09cum of 11.2mm IRC machine crushed metal with 14.60Kg of Bitumen for pre-mixing 10 sqm of pre-mix carpet and laying separately Seal coat type "A" using .09 cum of 6.70mm IRC HBG chips with 9.80 Kg of Bitumen for 10sqm including cost and conveyance of materials to the departmental metric gauge for pre-measurement heating the bitumen boiler heating the aggregate and mixing them with bitumen in mini hot mix plant for pre-mix carpet and rolling by 80-100 KN power roller including labour charges for spreading hire and fuel charges for mini hot mix plant, bitumen boiler, all other tools and plants employed etc., complete

Supplying and Fabricating and placing in position MS steel or Ribbed Tor Steel for all Reinforced Cement Concrete works as per the design given including cost of steel and binding wire in all floors etc, Complete complying with stanard specification.(MS rod or RTS bar will be supplied departmentally at section stores and cost will be recoverd at issue rate). the binding wire shall supplied by the contactor.

PCC 1:2 :4 mix using 20mm I SS size hard granite broken metal from approved quarry including cost and conveyance of all materials to site including cost of cement and including all labour charges etc., complete as directed by the Engineer (Bed block)

Cement concrete 1:1.5:3 using 20mm ISS HBG metal for all RCC item of works including cost of Rein forcement and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering but including curing and shall be finished smooth with cement mortar 1:3, 12mm thick. and with kraft paper without claiming extra as directed by the departmental officers complete complying with standard specifications.

Back filling with Good gritty gravel behind the Abutment & inbetween the wings including all labour charges etc., complete

Providing Weep Holes in Brick masonry reinforced cc wih 100mm Dia AC pipe extending through the full witdh of the struction with standard specification

Provision for Expansion joint inbetween the dirt wall & Deck in Abutment and inbetween deck in Pier in standard specification

Providing and laying Kraft paper barring between deck slab and bed block to the full width of seating

Provision for Name board

Providing and laying Water Bound Macadam Grading - II (75mm to22.40mm) IRC HBG of 75mm consolidated thickness consisting of clean, crushed aggregates mechanincally interlocked by rolling and bonding together with screening binding material of 0.24 cum for 10 sqm (the material passing 425 microns sieve shall have liquid limit and plasticity index not more than 20 & 6% repectively) and finished in accordance with the requirements of the specification and thickness as per approved plans or as directed by the Engineer as per clause 405 of MORD revision I(Mix -in - place method)
