FLUE GAS CHIMNEY
Supply and installation of Flue Gas Chimney made out of 3.0 mm thick Mild Steel sheet minimum 2.0 to 3.0 mtr above the highest point of the Plant Room and including connection from Boiler to Main Chimney fabricated from 3.0 mm mild steel all as specified. Notes : 1. The item shall be complete with the mounting/fixing arrangement. 2. The each boiler shall be connected to an independent chimney 3. The portion to the chimney inside the building shall be insulated with fibre glass insulation wool 24kg/Cum and insulated portion, shall be covered with 28 SWG aluminium cladding. The item shall be complete with mounting/fixing arrangements all as specified and directed.
EXPANSION TANK
Supply and installation of overhead expansion tank of capacity 1000 Litres make up to 3 mm thick mild steel sheet covered with 13 mm thick closed cell electrometric insulation complete with removable lid, in/out/drain/overflow system mounting arrangement and complete connection all as specified and directed.

(i) Storage Capacity (Nominal) : 5 KL (ii) Gross capacity (Not exceeding : 5.2 KL) (iii) Shell thickness : 4 mm (iv) End plate Thickness : 5 mm Note : Tank shall be provided with manhole, lifting lugs, earthing lugs vent pipe dip stick suitable dia inlet, out let connections complete all as directed.
DAY OIL STORAGE TANK
Supply, installation testing and commissioning of Kerosene / HSD Oil day Service Tank, Rectangular, Mild Steel construction with capacity 1000 Litres complete with inlet, outlet, drain and the tank shall be made out of 3 mm mild steel sheet and will be provided with supports made out of 50 x 50 x 5mm MS section to keep tank base at minimum (1000mm) above finished floor level complete, all as specified and as directed.

Supply, mixing and filling of Mono Ethylene Glycol along with the necessary additional and inhibitor in congnition and supplied in barrels. The mixture freezing temperature shall be (-) 25 deg C, all as specified. However the mode of payment and operations involved for this item shall be as under :- (a) Mono Ethylene Glycol in concentrated from shall only be measured and paid under this item. (b) Material and labour for mixing, filling preparation of Glycol Charge to get total quantity of mixture including and filling required for operation of CHS plant and network having 60% quantity of treated water (water to be supplied by MES) and 40% of mono ethylene glycol supplied as above to attain the freezing temperature of mixture as (-) 25 deg C. The quoted rates shall deemed to include the above.
RADIATORS
Supplying, installation, testing & commissioning of floor mounted Panel Radiators of following cap complying with EN 422 standard to attain (24+2) degree centigrade with thermostatic control valves complete including all fittings and accessories all as specified and directed as per OEM's recommendations :-
(a) Panel 4500 K Cal/ Hr (Panel + Convector + Convector + Panel) rated at mean water temperature 80 degree Celsius and Room Temperature of (24+2) degree Celsius of suitable size wall mounted with suitable control valves complete all as specified and as directed.
(b) Panel 3000 K Cal/ Hr (Panel + Convector + Convector + Panel) rated at mean water temperature 80 degree Celsius and Room Temperature of (24+2) degree Celsius of suitable size wall mounted with suitable control valves complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : 1. The quotated rates shall be deemed to include the provision of making holes in wall / floor for fixing of Radiator and its pipes and making good the disturbed surface to match the existing surface. 2. The Contactor shall be get the prior approval from GE before procurement of Radiator of suitable size as per Site requirement.

Valve Pit of size 900 mm x 900 mm x 1500mm (Internal dimensions), Stone Construction, including all necessary excavation and Earth Work in any type of soil, returning filling in, disposal of surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed, PCC in foundation of the mix (1:4:8) type D-2, (using 40mm grade crushed stone aggregate) PCC coping in PCC (1:2:4), type B-1 using 12.5mm crushed stone aggregate stone masonry in cement mortar (1:4), rendering 12mm thick in cement mortar (1:4), internally finished even and fair and pointing flush externally as the work proceeds in the same mortar. Mild steel angle iron 50 x 50 x 6mm frame MS sheet cover 3.15 mm thick with handle and locking arrangement painting all the exposed MS work with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of the tint as approved by the GE over a coat of red oxide primer and painting all the MS embedded in PCC with two coats of black bituminous paint complete all as specified and as directed.
(g) Foundation - PCC foundation as per manufacturer's instructions, recommendation or required at site or as directed by Engr-in- charge. Cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the lump sum cost of DG set quoted by contractor. Note: The engine shall be affixed with label mentioning the following :- (i) Name and address of the Engine Manufacturer. (ii) Type approval certificate Number. (iii) Date of manufacture of engine. (iv) The complete generating set inclusive control panel base frame coupling etc shall be from the OEM & shall be assembled and tested engine manufacturer workshop and test certificate shall be provided by contractor. (i) Environment- (i) Engine conforms to environment (protection) Rule 1986. (ii) Humidity up to 95%, (non condensing) (iii) Operating temp range (-) 20 degrees centigrade to (+) 40 degree centigrade. (iv) Height above mean sea level (MSL)-1954 Mtr.
(h) Alternator :- Alternator 50 KVA/40KW,3 Ph, 415 Volts, 0.8 PF, 4 wire, H-class insulated, self excited self regulated, screed protected drip proof type with two end ball bearing/roller bearing with damper winding in each pole faces as per IS 4722 or BS 2613 -1970 all as specified as follows:- (a) Time permitted to build up rated voltage < 5 sec. Electric Starter Equipment- The Equipment will comprise the following:- (a) Maint free battery duly initially charged and battery lead with copper/brass terminal with 160 AH capacity. AMF Panel :- Auto mains failure panel 415 Volts 50 Hz suitable for 50 KVA DG set made out of gauge mild steel sheet factory made cubical type floor mounted front and rear door openable doors with locking arrangement duly powder coated suitable for including the following:-
(a) Microprocessor based auto transfer switch 4 pole 160 Amps, 415 Volts MCCB 02 Nos electronic control box for automatic switching on and off of DG set transfer of load per assembled and ready to use complete in all respect equipped as follow:- (b) On load change over switch 4 pole 415 volts 50 Hz 160/200 Amps in open execution for manual change over of supply in case of AMF panel failure. All accessories prewired with suitable size PVC insulated copper conductor cable of appropriate size including connections from DG set all as required at site including foundation as per manufacturer recommendations. Note : The AMF panel shall be integrated with respective LT distribution panel and all electrical connections done using copper bus bars PVC sleeved or appropriate rating but not less than as of LT panel.
Earthing complete with copper earth plate 600 x 600 x 3.15 mm thick buried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ;normal ground level ) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level connected to copper strip 20X3 mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts washers and check nuts of copper/bronze duly protected with 40 mm bore light grade pipe upto main board , 20mm bore watering pipe light grade with CI/MS funnel and wire mesh including excavation , earth work in any type of soil and removing the surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr, add charcoal dust and common salt as directed by the Engr-in-charge all as shown in electrical plate No. 03 of SSR part-I 2009 having pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 including angle iron frame made of angle iron of size 40x40x6mm grouted in PCC pit for CI cover of required size, funnel with wire mesh complete and all as specified and as directed.
Maintenance and Operation of complete Central Heating Plant including DG Set installed under Serial Item No 66 to 100 here-in-before round the clock , by providing Two Skilled Operators per shift of 08 hours for three shift per day including Sunday and Holidays, including daily/periodical Maintenance of complete plant as per manufactures instructions including necessary stores/consumable, including area cleaning inside and outside up to 3.0 mtr surrounding the building and Maintaining hours wise running recorded of Plant and maintaining the required temp and humidity /demanded temp and humidity complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. REQUISITE QUALIFICATION :- Central Heating Plant Operator : ITI certificate holder from a recognized ITI in relevant trade and having experience in appropriate trade or Personal having 03 years experience in relevant Trade. Notes : 1. A panel recovery of @ Rs.500/- per shift per operator shall be recovered in case of operator found absent from duty. 2. All spare parts and standby compressor/motor etc to be kept ready in functional condition. In case of any breakdown same is to be rectified and made functional within 07 days failing which recovery @ Rs 1000.00 per day will be made. 3. In case of breakdown in the plant same is to be rectified and plant to be made functional within 24 hrs failing which recovery @ Rs.2000.00 per day will be made. 4. It will be compulsory for the contractor to pay wages not less than minimum fair wages to the personal employed by him as notified by the Central or State Govt (whichever is more) for their relevant trade directly into their Aadhar linked Bank Account. 5. Attendance of personal employed will be done by bio metric attendance system.
Notes : 1. DEFECT LIABILITY PERIOD : The Defect Liability Period for the Contract shall be in the existence up to certified satisfactory completion of Phase-II test for Three Years after provisional taking over (i.e. after satisfactory completion of Phase-I test) whichever is later. 2. ON-SITE REPAIR / MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING : During the Defect Liability Period of 36 months the Contractor shall be responsible for providing of On-Site Repair / Maintenance and servicing of complete Central Heating Plant provided by functioning of all parts i.e. Oil Fired Boilers, Glycol makeup Centrifugal Pumps, Transfer Gear Oil Pumps, Flue Gas Chimney, HSD Oil Piping system, Hot Glycol Fluid piping system, valves of all types, Radiators and other fittings fixtures under Serial Item No 66 to 100, checking of leakage of any part of plant and piping system and replacement of old unserviceable parts by new parts and pipe line including re-assembling the same as original and reinstalling at same place and testing as directed at site 3. The Contractor will ensure that the Central Heating Plant is functional throughout the Defect Liability Period by detailing his technical team before the onset of winters for servicing and maintenance. 5. The contractor will attend the complaint within 72 hours of intimation of the complaint through SMS / e-mail / Whatsapp message from JE (E/M) / AGE (E/M). In case the Contractor fails to attend the complaint and does not make the plant serviceable within stipulated time frame of 72 hours, a Panel Recovery of `1000.00 per day per plant will be deducted for each day of delay.
