Repair, maintenance and making the continuity of supply after rectifying the defects of the electrical items such as light point, fan point, call bell point, socket point 5A/15A, switches, sockets, regulator, lamp holder, brackets, bell, buzzer, push button, batten, ceiling rose, pendent, any type of MCB's, DB's any type of light fixtures, any type of lamp, ceiling fan, exhuast fan, geyser, capacitor, replacement of fuse wires and all elcectrical accessories in day to day/door to door maintenance including reconnection with S&F small pieces of elctrical copper cable of size upto 10 Sqmm single core and length not exceeding 0.50m, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Any major items required to be repaired/replaced shall be measured and paid under relevant item of BOQ as supply only.Cost of labour for replacement shall be deemed to included in the unit quoted rate.

Note for item No 1 :- (a) The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having ITI in electrical, documentary proof of the education qualification of tradesman shall be produced to Engr-in-Charge before commencement of work.

(b) All bldg light complaints including service connection, sub main & internal electric for entire OTM and Md accn at AF Stn Jalahalli East & West shall be attended

(c) Record of complaints/complaint slip showing qtr No, bldgs No, nature of job supported with users signature shall be prepared as per format as directed by Engr-in-charge & will be deposited to concerned JE E/M within 24 hrs.

(d) All sort of petty T&P items such as PVC insulation tape, ladder, galvanised screws, nuts, bolts, washers etc. required to accomplish the job shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to deptt.

(j) In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12 hrs after handing over routine/urgent complaints, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

(k) The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the Engr-in-Cahrge more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent/ routine nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the representative of contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor's rep shall be obtained on slip. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more than twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 50/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other than the condition 67 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

(l) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work.

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shall be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end ( copper strip upto 7.5 RM shall be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing for each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor from final bill for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xviii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bounded rod to ensure genuineness of material.

(xix) Sign board of mild steel sheet 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing shall be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

Copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc including taking down existing one all as specified and directed. NOTE : All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

Earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 7.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm for each electrode pit complete including taking down all as specified and directed. Make : Model SEPC 250 of SAFE TRODE/ Electrogrip Model/ EGTEK3LC of ISG Global or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ ERICO. Note :- The contractor shall submit load bearing capacity certificate from the manufacturer.

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of factory assembled, floor mounted, free standing type tested LT Feeder pillar panels, with canopy, as per electrical specifications for outdoor installation to be made of IP65 Polycarbonate modular enclosures. The enclosures made of polycarbonate, should be weather/vermin proof, anti -acid, anti-corrossive, UV resistance in accordance with IEC 61439-1, fire retardant and self extingushing in accordance with IEC 60695-2-11, UL subject 94 for flammability V-0, should pass glow wire test for 960 degree in accoardance with 60695-2-11.Degree of protection against mechanical load should be IK08 (5 Joule) in accordance with IEC 62262,IP65 in accordance with IEC-60529 and IEC- 60439-1, should have dielectric properties, RoHS compliants & Halogen free. The manufacturer of boards/panels shall submit a copy of type test reports as per above mentioned norms either from UL/ERDA/CPRI/NABL labs in india.The panel should be modular and compartmentalized in construction with opaque and transparent doors, properly tightened to base with thermoplastic screws having sealing gaskets of extruded silicon rubber to withstand adverse weather effects. The depth of modular enclosure should be minimum 200mm for air circulation & to minimize temp rise. Panel should be fitted with one No. polycarbonate IP 65, 9 W LED translucent bulk head luminaire color lamp not less than 6500K, PF > 0.95 under canopy for easy maintenance. Panel should be fitted outside with one No. of 16 Amp 3 Pole IP65 industrial socket and 01 No. of 32A 5P IP 65 industrial socket. 3 Phase and neutral 600 Amp current carrying capacity of aluminium bus bar insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeves with SMC/DMC insulators,complete with the following switch gears and mounting the panel board on ground with PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate for bedding upto a height of 45 CM above ground level, including dismanting and taking out old U/S LT panel board and remove from site reconnecting existing LT UG Cable with new panel board all as directed :-

(a) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 400 Amp, 36 KA - 01 No. (Incomer). (d) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole, 415 V of capacity 63 Amp, 10 KA - 01No. (e) Multifunction Meter (V,I,PF) with suitable capacity of CT's - 01 No. (f) Indicating lamp (R-Y-B) set LED type with backup MCB for 3 Phase Supply - 01 set. (g) Space for spare feeder - 01 No. Note :- (i) The Contractor Shall submit the drawing for approval before executing the work. (ii) Insulators, bus bar sleeves, lugs, gland etc including complete wiring with suitable size of copper wire are all inclusive in unit quoted rate. (iii) Make of Switch gear : Schneider/L&T/C&S. (iv) MCCB should be ICu =100% ICs. (v) Make of LT Panel/FPB shall be as mentioned in list of makes (PS). Note :- An amount of Rs 57497.50 on account of credit schedule for schedule 'A' part II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
