Excavation for Structures. Earthwork in excavation for structures as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto a lead of 50 m, dressing of side and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. (i) Ordinary Soil upto 3 mtr depth.(for protection & drain)

Filling in foundation trenches as per drawing and technical specification clauses 305.3.9 a)Earth filling (for marshy soil) for 4m span CD& R/wall

Sub-Head : Pavement

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401.For Grading I Material

WBM Grading 3. Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 3 as per Technical Specification Clause 405.

Prime Coat. Low Porosity. Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

20mm thick open graded premix carpet using bituminus (penetration grade / modified bitumin) Binder. Providing laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20mm thickness composed of 13.2mm to 5.6mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base i/c. mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100Kn. static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type A, Type B or Type C as per technical specification clause 508. Case - I By Manual Means .Bitumen (S-90).

Seal Coat Providing and laying Seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminus surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type A, Type B, and Type C as per technical specification clause 510. By Manual Means. Case -I Type - A. Bitumen (S-90).
