Extra width required for compaction of sub grade shall not be paid and its expenditure shall be in incidental to the work.

(N.S) Note:-1. only curst material should be used no local earth/sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by the engineer.

Providing and laying 100mm thick dry lean cement concrete Sub-base Construction of dry lean Cement Concrete M-10 sub base over a prepared sub grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS : 383 the size of if coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per table 600-1. cement content not to be less than 150 Kg/cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than as per ISI marked provision MPA at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site, laid with a paver compacting with 5-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing as per clause 601 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013. Note:- If cement contents are required more than 150 Kg. per cum to achieve strengthening it will be incidental to work and nothing shall be payable on this account.
Providing and laying 200 mm cement concrete of un-reinforced, dowel jointed, plain cement concrete pavement M-40 over a prepared sub base with 43 grade cement @ minimum 400 kg per cum, coarse and fine aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a batching and mixing plant as per approved mix design, transported to site, laid with a fixed form or slip form paver, spread, compacted and finished in a continuous operation including provision and cost of contraction, expansion, construction and longitudinal joints, joint filler, separation membrane, sealant primer, joint sealant, de-bonding strip, dowel bar, tie rod, admixtures as approved, curing compound, finishing to lines and grades as per drawing, panel size 3.50 mtr x 4.50 mtr., Dowel bars 450mm long 32mm dia MS bar. @300mm C/C tie bars-640mm deformed bars, 2mm dia @720mm C/C, provide 125 micron PVC sheet between DLC & PQC and MoRT&H specification No. 602. 5th edition 2013 (NS) Note:- Minimum cement contents for this item will be 400 Kg. per cum of concrete as per approved job mix formula. If the cement content is more than 400 kg/cum, then the extra cement will be incidental to work and nothing shall be payable on this account.

Providing and fixing public information board consisting of 75mm GI pipe of size 2.45m x 1.15m with 900mm x 900mm GI sheet 16 gauge connected/welded with 5mm thick steel plate of 50mm duly painted as per column mentioned in the Drawing and fixing at site in60x60x75 cm cement concrete 1:2:4 block complete in all respect.
Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10cms wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 1702 of MoRD specification . Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflectorzing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads .the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note:- Before start of work the contractor shall give brand , batch no. , manufacturing date of the material to be used and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Providing & Fixing PVC pipe 6 Kg. pressure of ISI mark in cement mortar during masonry work. (Note:- Reputed make PVC Pipe such as Supreme, Finolex, Prince will be used as approved by Engineer-in-Charge. (HSR 13.89). Note:- The Agency to whom the work is allotted will have to produce original bill/voucher for all quantity in token of proof of purchase of material. (a) 100mm dia PVC pipe 6 kg. pressure.
Providing and fixing PVC Bend ISI Mark. (Note:- Reputed make PVC Bend such as Supreme, Finolex, Prince will be used as approved by Engineer-in-charge. (HSR 13.90). Note:- The agency to whom the work is allotted will have to produce original bill/voucher for all quantity in token or proof of purchase of material. (a) 100 mm dia PVC Bend.
Providing, lowering, cutting, jointing and testing 600mm dia RCC pipe Class NP-3 as per IS 458-2003 with Spigot and socketed joints manufactured with ISI marked Sulphate Resistance Cement as per ISI 12330 with rubber rings ISI marked , antitermite as required at site , into trenches, for all depths and laying out the same to correct alignments, gradients and levels including dressing and trimming and cutting of concrete beds and sides of trenches , if required , Jointing with rubber rings in trenches and jointing with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and with end dowels filled with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and finishing the joints at angle of 45 degree with faces of spigot of socket joints cutting and finishing the cut surface to a uniform finish etc. as fully described in (HSR item No 29.38,29.44,29.45 & 29.46) including cartage , loading and unloading complete in all respects. Note:- Contractor shall supply bill of manufacture of pipes. Pipes should bear name of manufacturer and ISI mark along with bill duly valid ISI certificate of manufacturer should be supply. Without these bills certificate no payment shall be released.
Recovery Items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer and granular layers have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under:- (i) WBM @ Rs. 795.62 Per Cum Note:- All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if martial after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser that reserve price
