CONVERSION OF OLD CORRODED CI PIPE LINE TO DI PIPE LINE AT TECH AREA AT MILIT GIRINAGAR PUNE

Supply lay & testing pipe ductile Iron, centrifugally cast (spun) S/S Class “K-7” 250 mm (10”) dia contermina to IS 8329-2000 in trenches, above ground (in PCC blocks) from power house to technical area of Milit, in well, roads etc including Tighten rubber joints, nuts/ washers/ rubber gasket/clamps etc all required as per site all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: (a) Contractor should visit the site before quoting the tender for know exact ground requirement and location. (b) Contractor will not disturbed the existing pipelines till the testing of the new laying pipeline. (c) PCC block for seating of pipe lines will be measured under relevent items. (d) Ductile iron fittings/specials and fixing (i.e) bend, elbow, tee, reducer, flanges, colloar, nipple, and etc which required to complete the pipeline will be measured under relevent items.

S&F cast Iron Air Valves conforming to IS with two air Outlets and fixing up in cast iron water supply mains including removing old rusted valves and taken as credit complete all as specified and directed for following bore size: - (a) 50 mm bore

(b) 75mm bore

M& L for Dismantling the existing unserviceable sluice valve from the existing pipe line and S&F new sluice valve 250 mm bore CI body ISI marked high pressure class PN 1.6 heavy duty with flanged ends cast iron wheel with SS spindle (ISI marked) conforming to IS:14846-2000, short body complete all as specified including nuts,washers and rubber gasket complete all as specified and directed.

Removing and Taking up cast iron water mains (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead and taken as schedule of credit complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for plain cement concrete 1 : 2 :4 type B2 using 40mm stone aggregate, as in repairs to road damaged during excavation of pipe trenches including complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for demolition of cement concrete unreinforced of any description as in paving / top surfaces of road, not exceeding 15cm thick bellow or above ground level including complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Non Return Valve CI body of size 250mm bore ISI marked heavy duty with flanged ends short body including dismantling the existing unserviceable NRV from the existing pipe line as measured sch of credit including nuts, washers and gasket complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for CI Bends, Tapers, Tail piece socket, spigot tail piece, socket of any type, Hydrant Tee of required size as per site, Tee pieces (single & double branch) any type and angle/radius and straight connecting pieces but all ends flanged from sizes 200mm bore to 250 mm bore including, Nuts/ washers/ rubber gasket/clamps etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for mechanical Joint of size 250 mm bore including rubber plate, Nuts / washers/ rubber gasket/clamps etc. all required as per site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for demolition of brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc including complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for stone Walling of random rubble, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in cement mortar 1:6 but except stone complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting ductile iron pipes and reducing to required length before laying in position including S&F insertion of new tees, branches etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique and necessary machine including pipe upto 250 mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for excavation in trenches in soft / loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth and getting out for taking out / laying of pipes and making bottom surfaces of excavation leveled complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for returning, filling in trenches with excavated soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for removing surplus soil / spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre away and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified directed.

M & L for plain cement concrete type D2, 1:4:8 (40mm graded aggregate) in foundations, filling and mass concrete for foundation to maintianing slope of pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for road cutting upto 80 cms width and depth 75 to 90 cm for laying DI pipe including returning filling in and making good the disturbed portion to match with the existing roads by cement/ bitumen complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for machinery valve pit chamber of size 900 x 900 x 900 mm of internal dimension PCC solid black masonary chamber 200 mm thick (valve chamber) built in CM 1:6 PCC 1:2:4 Type B-1, 100 MM thick in floor 15mm thick plaster in CM1:4 on internal/ external surface PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 75mm thick as in coping MS Sheet cover 3.15mm thick with angle iron 50 x 50 x 5 mm flat iron hold fast of 15 mmx4mm including locking handle 6mm dia 30cm long,appling two coat of synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide primer etc all as specified and directed ,including neccessory excavation and earth work complete all as specified and directed.
