Protection Works around the 3 No's of IPS 1. Christian colony 2. Prem Nagar 3. Jogi Gate
Clearing the site and carry out alignment survey work by total station as and when required including marking of centre line of alignment, taking ground level details of existing structures within construction area and additional areas/lengths if required. Rate includes fixing necessary reference pillars, establishing benchmark, establishing foundation layout on ground, including submission longitudinal section, cross section, and report of survey work in three copies with soft copy in CD to Engineer‐in‐charge as directed for protection work, centreline length of survey will be measured for payment. (The average width will be approximately 250 to 300m)
Construction of 600 mm thick diaphragm wall inside ring bund above water level in R.C.C. grade M-30 of various depth. The rate includes construction of guide wall 1200 mm deep in R.C.C. grade M-15 of 100 mm thickness made from lightly reinforced concrete. Grabbing & trenching for diaphragm wall shall be carried out in all type of soil / sand / gravel, boulders by using hydraulic / mechanical diaphragm machine. Concrete should be produced in batching plant. The cost of reinforcement for diaphragm wall will be paid under saperate item. The contractor's rate should include the cost of following items:
Site clearance before starting the work and after completion of work.
Construction of guide wall in M15 grade concrete, including Earthwork in Excavation and or Backfilling. Demolishing and stacking of unused material of guide wall after completion of the diaphragm wall as directed by the Engineer. Cost of reinforcement in guide wall is included in guide wall cost.
Grabbing by approved trenching method as per IS:9103 using hydraulic / mechanical grab of suitable capacity required to overcome the strata at site. The bidder shall also take into consideration the usage of additional grab attachments like breakers, chisellers, drillers etc. for expediting the execution operations. The grabbing shall be carried out to desired depth in all kind of soil. Trenching by approved trenching hydraulic / mechanical grabbing equipment up to desired depth in all sorts of soil, bouldery strata of all size including hard and soft rock.
Concreting by tremmie in controlled concrete M30 grade including cost of all materials, polymer / bentonite, labourers, tools, plants, and equipment etc. complete.
Overflowing of contaminated concrete of 0.6m height (equivalent volume 0.36 m³ above cut-off level and simultaneous finishing the concrete at cut-off level in green state (Chipping or dismantling of contaminated concrete is not allowed instead of equivalent overflowing concrete is suggested).
The ring bund is proposed to be constructed above water level and construction of diaphragm wall is to be carried out in dry condition inside constructed ring bund excludes diaphragm area is proposed to be constructed. The cost of dewatering would not be payable to contractor.
The cost of reinforcement of diaphragm wall will be paid separately.
Providing and Fixing 100 mm dia PVC pipe having capacity of 6 Kg/cm2 at specified distance in drawing in grid pattern in Diaphragm wall as shown in the drawing.

Providing and laying in position ready mixed M-30 grade concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, manufactured in fully automatic batching plant and transported to site of work in transit mixer for all leads, having continuous agitated mixer, manufactured as per mix design of specified grade for reinforced cement concrete work including pumping of R.M.C. from transit mixer to site of laying , excluding the cost of centering, shuttering finishing and reinforcement including cost of admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS : 9103 to accelerate/ retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of the Engineer- in - charge.
Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete. Cold twisted bars
Providing and Placing in position suitable PVC water stops conforming to IS : 12200 for construction / expansion joints between two RCC members and fixed to the reinforcement with binding wire before pouring concrete etc. complete. Serrated with central bulb (225 mm wide, 8- 11mm thick)
Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 meters lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Earth work in bulk excavation by mechanical means (hydraulic excavator) over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 m2 on plan) including disposal of excavated earth with all lead & lifts, as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. All kinds of soil :
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade including curing but excluding the cost of centring and shuttering. All work upto plinth level with: 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)
Excavating, supplying and embankment filling of local earth (including royalty) by mechanical transport upto a lead of 5 km also including compaction of earth in embankment by using 8 to 10 tonne capacity vibratory roller, under optimum moisture conditions to give at least 95% of the maximum dry density (proctor density). The complaction, ramming and watering of the earth shall be carried out in layers not exceeding 20 cm in trenches, plinth, sides of foundation etc. complete.
Construction of ring bund with available excavated / riverbed material including all lead & lifts, under water. The backfilling is to be placed under water, only acceptable granular material having angle of internal friction more than 30 degree shall be used unless otherwise approved by the Engineer. Acceptable granular material shall consist of graded, hard durable particles with maximum particle size not exceeding 200 mm. The material should be non-elastic having uniformity coefficient of not less than 10. The material placed in open water shall be deposited by end tipping and compaction of earth in embankment, by using 8 to 10 tonne capacity vibratory roller. Front portion of embankment to be lined with filled gunny / poly bags. The payment of poly bags and its filling shall be paid separately.
Providing, filling and placing of Cement Poly Bags with available sand / earth, including cost of sewing and strings etc complete. The rate shall includes all costs of supplying, labour, material, tools, leads and lifts.
Providing and laying in position ready mixed M-25 grade concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, manufactured in fully automatic batching plant and transported to site of work in transit mixer for all leads, having continuous agitated mixer, manufactured as per mix design of specified grade for reinforced cement concrete work including pumping of R.M.C. from transit mixer to site of aying , excluding the cost of centering, shuttering finishing and reinforcement including cost of admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS : 9103 to accelerate/ retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of the Engineer- in - charge.

Providing and filling the expansion joints for 25 mm width & 12 mm depth, with polysulphide sealant with application of primer including scraping / removing the expansion filler materials from joints, cleaning, repairing of the edges with epoxy mortar of approved color and make, fixing of abro tapes on the edges to prevent the adjoining surface etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Painting with black anti-corrosive bitumastic paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade on new work Two or more coats.
Providing and laying 110 mm dia PVC pressure pipe for drainage arrangement/Weep hole behind RCC retaining wall as per specification and as shown in the drawing with geosynthetic filter and SS 316 mesh of 30x30cm of approved quality and specification etc complete.
No Fine concrete behind weep hole Providing and laying no fine concrete block of size 600mm x 600mm x 450mm confirming to IS 12727 in 1:8 (1Cement: 8 coarse aggregate) behind retaining wall at weep hole location and as drainage channel including centering, shuttering, laying, all material, labour etc. complete as per detail drawing and as directed by engineer in charge.
Providing and laying of Filter media behind retaining walls, with stone crushed aggregates satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2. of MoRTH specifications to a thickness of not less than 500 mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall and return wall to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per drawing.
Providing & laying of wire crates of size 6m x 1.5m x 1.5m including supply and hand packing of stones boulders in wire crates. The stone boulder should not be less than 225mm in size. The rate includes all costs of wire crates, stone bouldes, supply, fixing, hand packing, royalty & carriage of material with all lead & lifts complete.
Notes: 1.The bidder shall fill its bid in % (percentage) above or below (+/-) the estimated cost put to the tender. At the time of the signing of Contract Agreement, the quoted and agreed percentage will be equally weighed to all the particular items mentioned in the BOQ of the tender in accordance with the estimated item wise rate adopted by the employer for arriving at the tendered cost. The percentage above or below shall be quoted both in figures and words. Corrections if any shall be made by crossing out, initialling, dating and rewriting. 2.Before quoting rates in the financial bid, the bidder is advised to go through the rates mentioned in the Detailed Abstract of cost mentioned in the RFP ( for which the tendered amount has been arrived at by JSCL. 3. If there is a discrepancy between the figures and words, the price quoted in words shall prevail. 4. Any hard copy submission of the Financial Bid shall lead to rejection of the Bid. 5. Bidder has to quote the price inclusive of all taxes. 6. GST shall not be paid extra.
