Providing structural repairs in old damaged concrete structures / surfaces with approved Polymer with following operations 1) Removal of loose/Spalled or damaged concrete by chipping and cleaning the concrete surface and reinforcement steel with wire brush and with water 2) Cleaning the re bars with Acetone for complete rust removal and washing with water to make the surface clean. 3) Applying protective coat / bond coat using polymer and cement in the proportion of 1; 1.5 (1 part of polymer and 1.5 parts of cement in synthetic enamal paint like consistancy with brush 4) Reinstate the area with polymer modified mortar in layers of maximum 20 mm with the proportion of Cement 50 Kg : washed and dried river sand 87.50 kg ; silica sand 37.50 Kg. mixed with 10 litres of Polymer (or 1 Kg cement : 1.75 kg washed and dried river sand ; 0.75 Kg silica sand : 200 ml polymer) 5) If thickness of repair exceeds 20mm , after every 20 mm thick repair, bond coat as per 2 above to be applied and further thick of repair to be continued for each layer. Providing and injecting the fixed packer with two component low viscosity [350 cps] Epoxy resin system to achieve compressive strength in excess of 55 mp at 1 day & 65 mp at 7 days and shall exceed 15 mp in slant shear bond strength, with minimum pot life of 30 minutes at ambient temperatures, complying with manufacturer data sheet. Grouting should be done using any of the standard pressure grouting methods at a maximum pressure of 2kg /sqm cm till refusal and allowing the Epoxy grout to cure before removal of packers. The cost is inclusive of cost of material manpower and equipment complete etc as per direction of Engineer in charge.
Mobilisation and demobilisation of suitable boring equipments and all other allied equipments like boring rigs, survey equipments and all other in-situ tests equipments and manpower required to complete the scope of this work.
Setting up of boring rig at each location, only once for each borehole location including moves between borehole position greater than 5m locating and marking the location on the ground by actual survey, setting up all field test equipments and bringing all personal to the location, making area good for setting up rig etc. complete.
Drilling vertical boreholes of 100 mm dia, through all kinds of soils, weathered rock and soft rock, boulders, if any met during drilling with suitable and adequate equipment as required for the depth as measured below existing ground level. Note:(1) RQD of 10% and less will be considered as weathered/soft rock. Drilling vertically through bed/rock strata (Hard rock), using not smaller than NX size diamond bit, using double tube core barrel with suitable core catcher including collection numeration and logging of cores, noting the lithology, colour photographs(100x150mm) of rock cores, putting them in the core boxes coated with a coat of anti termite chemical and transporting and storing to core store, all as per specifications for the following depths measured from existing ground level at rig location.

Installation of perforated heavy duty class C type GI pipe (100 mm dia.) casing upto full depth of loose soil/fractured rocks (Perforation should be minimum 40 % of the surface area). The GI pipe should be wrapped with nylon mesh (of 1600 opening /sq. inch).
Preparation and submission of draft reports as specified followed by 03 copies of final report of geotech investigation works including soft copy in CD.
Filling the gap between Eps (embedded parts) and the surrounding existing concrete wall/slab/ beam/ column etc with cementitious non- shrink grout of Sika, Fosroc or equivalent (shuttering will be paid separately).
Providing supplying and sealing the Expansion Joints with Gungrade Polysulphide sealant suitable for RCC Construction Joints of 'MASTERFLEX 700i' of BASF construction Chemicals make or approved equivalent by removing the expansion joint board up to 25 mm deep and cleaning the suface neatly and filling Gungrade sealent up to 25 mm deep to the lines and levels complete all asper manufacturers specifications and as directed by the project engineer.
