Provision of Drainage system of CGAE Campbell Bay land along the Boundary wall at INS BAAZ, CGDHQ-10 (Consultancy Service ) at Campbell Bay

Mobilization of Survey Equipment, Engineers, Technical Assistant, Surveyors to site & conducting topographical Survey, boundary and contour survey of Campbell Bay and submitting the drawings for the following in along the boundary wall and CGDHQ-10 area all as specified & directed by Engineer-in charge :- (a) clearing the bushes/plants/jungle vegetation along the boundary and proposed survey lines as identified by reconnaissance, using manpower crossing the entire Land in multiple radial directions @ 25m c/c at least with a minimum width of 2-3m, and as per site conditions to reveal maximum ground undulations and features in the drawing , after survey. (b) Conducting topographical survey using electronic Total station by establishing control points, traversing, and picking up of details of existing ground features like big trees with particulates of girth, nallah. Buildings, drain, footpath, road culverts water supply line, electric lines that may appear near the surrounding road etc, locating co-ordinates of strategic points including levels at suitable intervals depending on ground undulations precisely as per terrain and site conditions, transferring the data to computer and plotting the details and making contours at 1m or suitable interval as desires by the engineer-in-charge, using appropriate computer software, plotting the drawing to convenient scale and furnishing 8 copies of Auto CAD drawings. (c) The contactor shall submit 02 sets of draft drawing for approval and up on approval final drawing shall be 06 sets in colour prints along with level book and 02 sets of CD.

. Preparing suitable drainage plans for the area which includes civil population area naval land and coast guard land. (a) Preparation master plan including planning of area drainage network including computation of Runoff depending on rainfall data and basin, within identified regains and arriving at appropriate open drain networks around inhabited localities, parks, open spaces etc. adopting suitable gradient, determining capacity for sumps, pumps, indentifying necessary culvert sluice gate arrangements etc. complete all specified and directed.(b) Hydraulic design and structural design including supply of detailed working drawings of storm water drain, culverts sumps etc. complete all specified and directed.(c) Supplying draft drawings and discussion with the client and updating the suggestions if any.(d) Submission of design report and final CAD drawings 06 sets soft copy in CD format.

Mobilization of plants and equipment including men and materials as required at site, setting of boring/drilling as required and de-mobilization of plants and equipment on completion of work etc complete (which includes conveyance of sample collected to testing lab as required for the purpose of testing)

Shifting of entire arrangement from one bore hole to another bore hole location and setting of boring/drilling rig as required all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Boring 150 mm dia bore holes to any depth through following type of stratas :- (a) Any type of soil

(b) Hard rock

Collection of undisturbed soil sample at 3 m intervals or at any change of strata in 100 mm bore thin wall tube of strata including waxing, sealing, packing and transporting to the lab.

Carrying out standard penetration test (SPT) including collecting of disturbed soil samples in bore holes at every 1.5m depth or any change of strata and submit the report with all requisite data.

Conducting following necessary tests as per relevant IS codes on all collected samples which includes the determination of :- (a) Atterberg Limits(b) Natural moisture content(c) Wet and dry density(d) Soil/Particle size using sieve hydrometer analysis(e) Tri-axial shear test C&Q determination (f) Shrinkage limits(g) Consolidation test(h) Specific gravity test for sand/rock (j) Crushing strength of rock sample(k) Permeability test (l) Testing of water sample (02 samples) (m) Free swell index and swelling pressure in respect of black cotton soil and its depth/layers (n) Soluble salt content (Chloride & sulphate)

Preparation & submission of report in 04 copies containing Soil Profile at each bores , Ground water table, SBC, Bore logs, Laboratory test results, bore log location and plan etc & recommendations for suitable type of alternative foundations and safe bearing capacity of each bore etc complete in a standard.
