Preparation of Sub grade (as per technical specification) duly moistured and duely removing the surface irregularities including dewatering and laying plain cement concrete lining 60mm thick of M15 design mix concrete on canal bed/haunches/ berms using hard coarse aggregate with nominal maximum size of 20mm IS specificed grading to have well graded aggregates weigh batching the ingredients along with air entraining agents (200ml per bag of cement) and mixing these in mixer machine (concrete mix to yield 28 days) placement of concrete over the sub grade on canal bed/haunches/berms manually including consolidation of concrete, providing tranverse contraction joint grooves as per technical specification (2.10m spacing) and water curing of the lining. The sub grade shall be well prepared dressed and rolled to true level and specified section to form a firm compacted base for the lining as directed by the Engineer in charge of the Work.
