REPAIR TO ALL TYPE OF STEEL FURNITURE SUPPLYING AND FIXING OF THE UNSERVICEABLE PARTS AND PAINTING OF ALL TYPE OF STEEL PARTS UNDER BSO (N) OF GE (NORTH) MEERUT CANTT

(Drg No FD-256) Removing the old unserviceable/damaged part from the following Steel furniture M&L to replace the same with new parts duly match with the existing parts and completing finish with French polish/paint as required without damaging the other parts, size and shape of the parts shall be all as specified, shown on drgs and as directed by Engr-in-Charge:- CHAIR VERANDAH :- (a) Removing of old unserviceable plastic cane from chair Verandah and supply and fixing of PVC seat and back of chair verandah 4mm thick, weight not less than 1.85 Kg each Make – AMKO.

(c) M& L Gas welding to frame of chair verandah and providing two stiffeners at the seat of chair verandah Including preparation of surfaces and removing the unwanted welding spot to give smooth surface complete all as directed by Engr-In-Charge.

(d) M & L for painting of frame of chair verandah With white synthetic enamel paint Including preparation of surfaces after removing the cane and providing 04 Nos PVC shoes of black colour to legs of chair verandah complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.

(e) Removing old unserviceable cane from holes & recaning the chairs etc with approved new plastic cane as per Godrej Pattern all specified in those chair verandah where fixing of the seat and back is not possible. Rest all as shown in drg and directed by Engineer in charge.

Almirah Large / Med / Small and 1/2H x 1/2SH Steel - (Drg No FD-67M, 1031, 1033 & 1034) (a) Lock : S & F in replacement lock ISI marked having 3 way locking device suitable for almirah with duplicate keys. Make – Lico/Somax/Reena as approved

(b) Locking Device : M & L for locking device and lock bar as required and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

(c) Door Shutter : M&L for adjustment of door shutters by denting as required and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

(d) CP Handle : S&F in replacement C P steel handle ISI marked and to make the locking device in proper function as specified and shown on drg

(e) Legs : (i) S&F in replacement legs (Foot rest) of 1mm thick MS Sheet wherever required to Almirah Med/Small including 1/2H x 1/2SH steel made to shape as per drg.

(f) Legs : (ii) S&F in replacement legs (Foot rest) of 1mm thick MS Sheet wherever required to Almirah large including 1/2H x 1/2SH steel made to shape as per drg.

(g) Shelf : (i) S&F in replacement shelf to be made of 1.00mm thick MS sheet for Almirah Med/Small as per drg and shall be fixed with reviting and suitable MS clamp as approved.

(h) Shelf : (ii) S&F in replacement shelf to be made of 1.00mm thick MS sheet for Almirah large as per drg and shall be fixed with reviting and suitable MS clamp as approved.

(j) Painting : (i) Painting to Almirah Med/small and 1/2H x1/2S steel internally & externally after removing the dust /de-rusting of surface by applying putty wherever required preparation of surface with coats of toned paint synthetic enamel silver grey / olive green as directed by Engr-in-charge. Primer shall be provided at placed where welding has been carried out and new shelf is provided.

(k) Painting : (ii) Painting to Almirah large and 1/2H x1/2S steel internally & externally after removing the dust /de-rusting of surface by applying putty wherever required preparation of surface with coats of toned paint synthetic enamel silver grey as directed by Engr-in-charge. Primer shall be provided at placed where welding has been carried out and new shelf is provided.

LOCKER (Drg No FD-257) :- (a) Hasp & Stapple: S & F in replacement hasp and staple aluminum ISI marked size 75x40x3mm to shutter as shown on drg.

(b) CP Socket: S & F in replacement suitable bracket and stappled socket open at one end as approved shall be fixed as directed and shown on drg

(c) Handle: S & F in replacement aluminum handle 100mm long ISI marked as approved

(d) Hanging Rod : S & F in replacement conduit pipe stainless steel 20mm bore 1.6 mm thick as approved by GE. Length of conduit shall be as per drg

(e) Shutters : S & F in replacement shutter of locker steel made of 1.00 mm thick PBI sheet of size and shape as per drg

(f) Legs : S & F in replacement legs of locker steel fabricated out of 1.00 mm thick MS sheet made to shape as per drg

(g) Hinges : S & F in replacement 75mm long MS hinges to shutter of locker steel including reveting as directed

(h) Painting : Painting to locker steel internally & externally after removing the dust /de-rusting of surface by applying putty wherever required preparation of surface with coats of toned paint synthetic enamel silver grey / olive green as directed by Engr-in-charge. Primer shall be provided at placed where welding has been carried out and new shelf is provided.

TABLE 3’x2’ WITH / WITHOUT DRAWER STEEL :- (Drg No FD-1007 & 1008) (a) Supply and fixing of Top shall be made out of prelaminated MDF board 18 mm thick exterior grade make- Greenlam/Kitlam/Action tesa as per drg. Teak wood beading 4mm thick duly finished shall be provided all around before fixed with frame.

(b) Replacement of damaged Legs of table 3’x2’ to be made of MS Conduit pipe 25mm square 16gauge .

(c) Replacement of damaged Stiffener /Short rail to be made of MS Conduit pipe 25mm square 16 gauge.

(d) Replacement of damaged drawers to be fabricated out of 1.00 mm thick MS sheet including PVC handle as shown on drg.

(e) Replacement of Hard rubber shoe of black colour of approved quality.

(f) Painting : (i) Spray Painting to steel frame of table 3'x2' without drawer externally after preparation of surface with paint synthetic enamel silver grey / olive green. Primer shall be provided where welding has been done as well as new conduit MS is provided.

(g) Painting : (ii) Spray Painting to table 3'x2' with drawer externally internal except frame after preparation of surface with paint synthetic enamel silver grey / olive green. Primer shall be provided where welding has been done as well as new conduit MS is provided.

Teapoy verandah :- (Drg No FD-255) (a) Top :Top to be made out of prelaminated MDF board 18 mm thick exterior grade make-GREENLAM/Kitlam/ Action tesa as per drg and edging all around with 4 mm thick teak wood beading complete all as specified and directed

(b) Frame : supply in replacement of frame out of angle iron size 20x20x3mm with legs 4 Nos 10mm dia MS bar made to shape along with centre support of size 25x3mm MS flat welded to angle iron frame as shown on drg (FD-35) welded to frame duly painted with paint synthetic enamel white over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed

(c) Spray Painting to steel frame of teapoy verandah without drawer externally after preparation of surface with paint synthetic enamel white . Primer shall be provided where welding has been done as well as new conduit MS is provided complete all as specified and directed

TABLE DINING OR’S STEEL :- (Drg No FD-165M) (a) Top :Supply and fixing new top made out of 18mm thick MDF board exterior grade Make- GREENLAM/ Kitlam/ Action tesa as per drg duly covered with aluminum sheet 24 gauge of required size as shown on drawing after removing the old one complete all as specified and directed

(b) Repair and replacement of legs with 25mm square pipe duly welding at the point as shown in drg.

(c) Repair and replacement of stiffeners with 25mm square pipe duly welding at the point as shown in drg.

(d) Fitting : Hard rubber shoes in black colour suitable for frame as approved shall be provided to the legs

(e) Painting : Spray Painting to steel structure complete with two coat of paint synthetic enamel black after preparation of surface. Primer shall be provided where welding has been done as well as new conduit MS is provided complete all as specified and directed

(Table 900X900X760 )mm Steel without drawers : (Drg No FD-1009) (a) supply and fixing of Table top with prelaminated MDF board 18 mm thick exterior grade make-GREENLAM/ Kitlam/ Action tesa as per drg including egding with 4mm thick teak wood beading all as per drg complete all as specified and directed

(b) supply and replacement of Legs to be made of MS conduit pipe 25mm Square 16 gauge all as per drg

(c) Supply and fixing of 1.6mm thick 100X100mm triangular ms sheet bracket duly welded as directed wherever necessary

(f) Painting : Spray Painting to steel table 900 x 900mm without drawers steel externally after preparation of surface with paint synthetic enamel OG . Primer shall be provided where welding has been done as well as new conduit MS is provided.

TABLE OFFICE CLERK STEEL :- (Drg No FD-1004) (a) Supply and replacement of Top of Table Office clerk steel with prelaminated MDF board 18 mm thick exterior grade make-GREENLAM/Kitlam/Action tesa as per drg including egding with 4mm thick teak wood beading all as per drg complete all as specified and directed

(b) Supply and replacement of drawers to be fabricated out of 1.00 mm thick MS sheet including PVC handle as shown on drg.

(c) Supply and replacement of Legs/Stiffeners to be made of MS Conduit pipe 25mm square 16gauge

(d) Supply and replacement of lock of drawers. Lock of 65 mm thick 6 Lever, Brass Make as approved.

(e) Supply and replacement of Hard rubber shoe of black colour of approved quality.

(f) Painting : Spray Painting to steel frame of table office clerk steel externally after preparation of surface with paint synthetic enamel OG . Primer shall be provided where welding has been done as well as new conduit MS is provided.

CHAIR CB STEEL WITH / WITHOUT ARMS :- (Drg No FD-75) (a) Seat : S & F of Teak wood seat frame suitable for chair CB Steel tubular with arms woven with 2mm wide cane plastic in true Godrej pattern in teak finish duly sprit polished after taking out the old one as shown on drg.

(b) Back : S & F of Teak wood back frame suitable for chair CB Steel tubular with arms woven with 2mm wide cane plastic in true Godrej pattern in teak finish duly sprit polished after taking out the old one as shown on drg.

(c) Arms : S & F in replacement PVC arms as per sample in teak/black finish.

(d) FI Stiffener of size 25x3mm : FI stiffener shall be welded side rails of the chairs to rest seat of chair CB steel with arms and without arms irrespective of what is shown on drg and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

(e) PVC cap : PVC cap suitable for 20mm dia 1.6mm thick pipe of best quality shall be provided as approved by GE.

(f) Hard PVC toes with screws : Hard PVC toes of approved quality and to be fixed with screws to the bottom of the chair as shown on drg.

(g) Painting : Spray Painting to chair CB steel tubular with / without arms externally after preparation of surface with synthetic enamel OG. Primer shall be applied where ever welding has been done.
