IMPROVEMENT SUCH AS WIDENING and STRENGTHENING OF HARISHANKAR-UDAYBANDHA ROAD (LATHORE-CHALDIA) (ODR) FROM 0/000 KM TO 6/190 KM IN THE DISTRICT OF BALANGIR UNDER STATE PLAN

Cleaning and grubbing road land including uprooting vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth upto 300mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable materials to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150mm in thickness

Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location within all lifts and lead upto 1000m.

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drains and foundation of other structures graded and compacting

Loosening, leveling and Compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150 mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density.

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site by mechanical means within a lead of 5kms, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2 & Clause 305 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works(5th Revision)

Supplying and fixing of 80mm thick cement concrete interlocking paver block of M-40 grade of approved make, design, colour and size made by Block making machine with proper compaction laid in required pattern etc. complete in all respect conforming to IRC SP - 63:2018.

Providing and fixing of bi-directional retro reflective raised pavement markers of approved colour, quality & make conforming to ASTM D-4280 made from injection moulded high impact polymer including cleaning, preparation of surface and fixing at position with approved quality adhesives including cost of all materials, labour, transportation, taxes, duties, sundries, T&P etc. complete.

Construction of Granular Sub-Base by providing Grading-VI material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregates to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the materials with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed materials by tipper to site laying in uniform layers with Paver in sub-base/ base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer (SS) at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Clause 502 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (5th Revision).
