Demolition of Cement Concrete (with or without reinforced) structure of any description and in position including road, pathway

Cutting / Demolition of Reinforced Cement Concrete in pavements/roads exceeding 15cm thick by using concrete cutting machine and jack hammer including cutting the edges to sharp and even to depth as per the fresh concrete thickness in to the shape of rectangular / square and preparing the surface to receive fresh concrete. (Concrete cutting machine to be used to cut the edges as rectangular or squre required at site and demolition of concrete surfaces by using jack hammer) all complete and as diretced by EIC and removing the debris to distance of 500m and staking the same wheredirected for measurement.

Demolition of Brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles

M & L for Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, hacking by jack hammer, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust by using pressure jet etc., including applying Brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0kg of cement per sq. metre

Cleaning of cement concrete road / stone sett by removing loose / powdered sand, brusing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, sweeping with brooms to remove all loose dirt, sand depositing the same to a distance of not less than 30m.

Earth work excavation in hard/ dense soil for foundation width and depth not exceeding 1.50m and getting out. (Manual Excavation)

Surface excavation hard dense soil n.exc (not exceeding) 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out

Material and labour for sand filling in foundation / flooring including watering and consolidation.

M & L for P.C.C 1:3:6, M-10 type using 20mm graded aggregated in foundation, flooring etc.,

M & L for R.C.C (Design Mix) A1 Type, 1: 1.5: 3 mix, 20mm graded aggregate in foundations, including rafts, footings, column, beam, plinth beams, roof slab, pavings, sub-bases etc., The RCC Design should be submitted to EIC. The RMC plant should be fully automatic plant and should confirm to IS 4926-2003 and IS 4925-2004. .(The RMC plant should have QCI certification and ISO 9001).

M & L for form work to side and soffit of RCC Member such as foundation , plinth beam etc., , and the finishing shall be of fair and smooth finished surface.

Supply and fixing of mild steel reinforcement TMT bars 10mm dia and over including bending, cranking, hooking and tieing with mild steel wire not less than 0.90mm dia.

Supply and fixing of mild steel reinforcement TMT bars 8mm dia to 6 mm dia including bending, cranking, hooking and tieing with mild steel wire not less than 0.90mm dia.

Removal of excavated soil/debris exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m and depositing where directed.

Supply of JCB machine for surface excavation, removing debris, site clearance, earth work excavation etc as and when required.

Supply of Tipper Lorry 12T capacity for removing sand,earth, debris etc., as and when required

M & L for Brick work with sub-class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in cement mortor 1:6 using modular bircks

M & L for plastering in CM 1:4 in concrete / Brick work

Material and labour for providing and laying design mix cement concrete of M-40 Grade using fully automatic concrete paving machine to maintain uniform true level (Minimum flextural strength of 5.42N/Sq.mm) with vaccum dewatering system (will be paid seperatley) in road/pavements/carriageways using cement content as per design mix with minimum 450Kg per cum using coarse sand and graded aggregate of 25mm nominal size and other admixtures,plasticizers and fly ash / GGBS in appropripate propotions as per approved & specified mix criteria, providing dowel bars sleeve/tie bars (will be paid seperatley) wherever required laying at site spreading and compacting mechanically by using needle and surface vibrators levelling to required slope/camber finishing with required texture and floating operations including high tensile steel fibres of not exceeding 0.456mm and length exceeding 50mm blended with ready mix concrete at the plant at the rate of 10 Kg/Cum and metalic floor hardner at the rate of 1kg per 50kg of cement (i.e. not less than 9Kg/cum) including of steel form work with strudy M.S. Channel sections, curing making all complete.This rate is inclusive for the Design mix for M-40 grade suitable for speed track concrete shall be got designed and approved from IIT,Anna university/NIT only.The approved designed concrete shall be only used in the approved RMC plant.Necessary the cube samples shall be tested and test result shall be issued from IIT,Anna university/NIT only. (The RMC plant should have QCI certification and ISO 9001).

M & L for providing Vaccum dewatering system to remove excess water from the laid/green concrete by providing suction mat on the freshly laid concrete which will not allow cement pater to flow out and the suction pump are then started immediately to remove the excess water. The suction time normally 20 to 30 minutes or as specified and as required at site and making the surface hard enough to enable carry the floating operation using mechancial trowel. The rate includes vaccum dewatering system and finshing the surface using mechanical trowel.

M & L for Forming 12mm thick Expansion joints for 150-200mm thick slab filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade ‘A’ including 20 mm dia mild steel dowel bars 50cm long (25cm in each slab) with ferrules, spaced at 300 mm centres, including boring form work and preformed filler for dowels

Returning, filling in hard/dense soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm

M & L for applying Epoxy bonding agent for applying in the old damaged concrete vertical surface to facilitate bonding with fresh concrete. The bonding agent should be brushed applied on the prepared surface and pouring concrete should be done when it is tacky. The make Fosroc, Master Builder, STP (or) suitably equivelent make is only acceptable. The make should be approved by GE/EIC. The application methododlogy should be submitted to EIC. The application area alone will be taken for measurement.

Labour for cleaning Existing clogged culvert (15 - 20m) Length for removing silt, dirt etc., by using manual cleaning and using mechanical equipments such as pressure water jet etc., all complete as directed by E-I-C
