Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Karnataka Public Procurement Portal on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Karnataka Public Procurement Portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

As per karnataka state government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 01-01-2007 and Govt letter No.PW/134/BMS /2007/dated 27-07-2007, a sum amounting to 1 percent of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund.

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders

All the documents to be uploaded shall be neatly scanned and the documents scanned shall be in original.

Any discrepancies observed in the documents uploaded by the tenderer the tender shall liable to rejected.

All the Formats prescribed in the bid documents shall be filled in complete manner. ( section 3 & 4 of the bid document ) and shall be uploaded properly, signed by Tenderer. Necessary Certificates shall be uploaded along with the formats wherever required. General documents Section can be used for this purpose.

Tenderers are requested to read the Bid Documents before submission of their bid.

The Tenderer should submit proposed methodology and program of construction, backed with equipment and materials duly supported with broad calculations and quality management, plan, proposed to be adopted, justifying of execution and completion of the work as per technical specifications within the stipulated period of completion.

Department will not supply any materials.

The cost of the Tender form shall not be refundable.

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing E-Karnataka Public Procurement Portal.

The Employer reserves the right to reject one or all tender without assigning any reasons.

Contractors should be Registered in KPWD and copy should be uploaded in E-Karnataka Public Procurement Portal.

Further particulars, if any, required by the Contractor can be had from the office of the Executive Engineer, PWD Division Haveri during office hours on all working days. It may be noted that if any of the dates mentioned above happened next working day will holds good in lieu of the dates mentioned.

Work Completion/ Execution Period : 09 Months including monsoon and the Tenderer should maintain work during the defect liability period, which is (1) one year after successful complection of the work.

Each Tenderer should further demonstrate: liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities of not less than Rs.53.47 lakhs Credit lines/letter of credit/ certificates from the banks for meeting the fund requirement etc. (Certificate should be as per format mentioned in the GO No.FD-CAM/16/2022(P-2)Dated: 12-08-2022 attached and conditional LOC is not accepted Otherwise tender will be rejected)

DEFECT LIABILITY PERIOD: The Defects Liability Period is 1 Year. The Defects Liability period starts, after successful completion of work

Any Deviation/Error/mistake found in units of items, they should be read as in the Unified SR 2023-24 (continued for 2026-27) and subsequent Corrigendums and the rates shall be quoted accordingly.

The EMD of Rs.2,40,700/shall be made through e-payment or in Two parts-Part (1) Rs. 1,00,000 /- by e-payment Part (2) Rs.1,40,700/- Shall be in the form of Bank Guarantee, in the prescribed format, obtained from any Nationalized / Scheduled bank in favour of Executive Engineer, PWD, Division, Haveri which should be scanned & uploaded to the e Karnataka Public Procurement Portal while submitting the tender. Original Bank Guarantee of the part (2) of EMD shall be delivered to the Executive Engineer, PWD , Division, Haveri at the time of agreement.

The Bid document clause No.34.4 to be implemented as per delegation of power vide GO No.PWD/423/FC-1/ 2018/Bengaluru/Dated: 24-09-2018.

Star Rates will be applicable as per Government Circular No. PWD 159/CRM/2009/ Bangalore/Dated: 30-09-2010 or any other relevant Government Orders

Estimate Rates are Exclusive of 18% GST

The bidder should eligible in the bidder criterias enclosed.

Financial turnover of previous years shall be given a weightage of 10% per year to bring them to the price level of the 2026-27 in the Technical Qualification Criteria mentioned in the next section

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025 percant of the contact value Min Rs. 500.00 or and Max Rs.7500.00 or soon after contract has been issued to bidder.
