Medium Jungles: Clearing medium jungles and trees upto 15 cm. girth including cutting, uprooting roots and stumps, removing them from the site of the work, etc. complete as directed. ( When 30% to 60 % of the area is covered by shrubs,trees etc).

Cutting bamboo , uprooting roots & stumps including removing them from the site of work, etc. complete as directed.

Earth work in embankment by Tractor-trailer carriage in locally available ordinary soil excluding rocky soil free from roots & vegetation and filling in uniform layers not exceeding 22 cm. thick including ploughing or roughening or benching the seats, removing all debries, breaking clods up to 2.5 cm cube, dressing as per design section including payment of forest royalty if any, etc. complete as directed. (10% deduction will be made from the section measured quantities of the completed and compacted earth work on account of shrinkage).

3.15(I):- Compacting Original Ground (i) Compacting original ground supporting embankment Loosening, leveling and compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150mm,mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given table 3001 & 300.2 for embankment construction as per Technical specification clause 301.4.1 (inclusive of all taxes)

Labour for ramming with cast iron rammer to proper compaction including watering if necessary , etc. complete as directed. Ordinary soil:

Turfing with grass sods of largest possible rectangles of 12 cm. minimum thickness placed closely including dressing earth pagging with Jati bamboo split, watering till the grass grows for a lead up to 90m and all lifts.

Earth work in excavation of drainage channel to the proper grade and slopes as required including desposing the excavated debries/soil to a safe distance of minimum 50 m distance as directed.

Extra lead for every 30 m or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 50 m

Stitching of Bags should be Ring Spun Yarn stitches with 2500-3000 denier double line chain stitch with overlap with stitches along the edge @ minimum 15 stitches per 100 mm. (Bags are to be supplied of 100 numbers or part in a bundle, properly packed with name of Manufacturer and Batch Number is to be marked on each bag with “WRD Govt of ASSAM” to be printed on each bag and mentioning properly the GSM and type of Geo bag polymer. Supply of Galvd. Wire netting sheets made of 8G wire of 152mm (6") square mesh in sheets of overall size 2.57m x 1.66m including 75mm projection of each wire on all sides beyond the net size of 2.42m x 1.52m having knots of 12G wire at every joints including loading, unloading, stacking properly complete as directed by the department (weight of each sheet should not be less than 6.30kg).

Serviceable empty cement bags.

Filling and laying of Geo bags of size 1.03m X 0.70m including excavation of silt from flood plain or adjacent chars within a distance of 90m of the work site, filling geo bags with silt having minimum weighing 126.00Kg and minimum volume 0.084 cum after filling, double locking chain stitching the mouth of the filled bags with polypropylene thread by power driven double needle double stitched machine, stacking the same in batches of 100, carrying the same to the dumping site including all handling charges and local carriage within a distance of 150m and laying properly as directed. (Geo Bag and Polypropylene thread will be supplied by the department free of cost). Without Boat

Filling and laying in cage with silt filled Geo bags of size 1.03m X 0.70m including excavation of silt from flood plain or adjacent chars within a distance of 90m of the work site, filling geo bags with silt having minimum weighing 126.00 Kg and minimum volume 0.084 cum after filling, double locking chain stitching the mouth of the filled bags with polypropylene thread by power driven double needle machine, stacking the same in batches of 100, carrying the same to the dumping site including all handling charges and local carriage within a distance of 150m and laying properly. in cages made of wire netting sheets of size 2.57x1.66m of 8G galvanized wire making the cage from 2 nos. of wire netting sheet by tying the projected wires complete as directed. (Geo Bag, Wire Netting Sheets and Polypropylene thread will be supplied by the department free of cost). Without Boat

Labour charge for laying and pitching earth filled cement bags including excavation and borrowing earth, breaking clods, filling in bags and supplying and stitching the mouth with jute sutli, etc. complete as directed. (cement bags will be supplied by the department free of cost). For borrowing earth from a distance up to 30m.

Construction of whole bamboo single pallasiding with matured bhaluka bamboo posts 7.5cm to 10 cm dia.,15 cm clear apart 1.50m to 1.80m above ground and 1.00m to 1.20m below ground with bhaluka bamboo inclined struts placed at 1.5m a part tied with three rows of horizontal half jati bamboo kamies etc. complete as directed. (Using Bhaluka Bamboo at the rate of 10.14 nos/ Rm & Jati Bamboo at the rate of 2.40 nos / Rm).

Supply of Ordinary Labour inclusive of all taxes.

Supply of R.C.C. Porcupine member of size 0.10m × 0.10m × 3.00m with cement concrete proportion 1:2:4, reinforced by 4 Nos. of 8mm dia TMT bar. and 4mm dia (8G) wire stirrups at 15cm. C/C with 2 (two) nos of holes of 20mm dia at 50 cm inside from both sides in the same face and in the other face of member another 2 (two) nos. of holes of size 20mm dia at 65 cm inside from both ends including properly curing for 28 days and supply at specified stackyard complete as directed.

Labour charge for launching of R.C.C. / PSC Porcupine including carriage of R.C.C./ PSC porcupine members of size 0.10m × 0.10m × 3.00m from the stack yard to the place of launching ,erection of the Porcupine with 6 (six) members properly, supply & fitting/fixing with 12 mm dia 25 Cm long M.S. Nuts and bolts and launching the porcupine properly as directed. (Lead up to 150 m). Launching without boat.

Carriage of Porcupine members by 40 HP Tractor -trailor including local carriage of porcupine members from stack yard to loading site up to a lead of 150m, loading , un loading at river bank near work site etc. complete as directed. (For lead beyond 2 KM and up to 5.00 Km and for all lift).

Supply of Sewing Thread/Yarn PPMF Stitching Thread (2000 Den. Kaplon) i/c payment of taxes.
