Material & labour for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3.15 mm thick burried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 4 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 3.25 mtr below ground level connected to copper strip 20 x 3 mm as earth lead by brass nut bolts washer including brazing the copper strip with copper plate as shown in electrical plate No 3 connected to earth test point including necessary excavation for earth pit in hard dense soil, rocky / disintergate rock, filling charcoal and salt around the plate in layers , filling the pit with low resistivity agriculture soil free from stones, to be bring from out side defence land and mixed with Bentonite , (3 bags of 25 Kg each ), construction of inspection pit ( earth pit chamber) of brick work of size 600 x 600 x 600 mm with PCC copping of 1 :1.5: 3, 12.5 mm aggregate A1 with MS sheet 2.8 mm plate cover on frame of angle iron of size 40 x 40 x 5 mm with , wire mess, funnel, test point, 40 mm dia GI protection pipe light grade and 20 mm GI peforated pipe for watering etc complete and testing on completion. The electrode and lead shall be of copper all as specified with and including taking out unsericeable complete and directed by Engr-in-charge (Copper strip upto 7.5 RM will be included in the item rate and copper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured seperately (Note : (i) Contractor shall use low reisistivity fresh agriculture soil , mixed with 3 x Bags of bentonite clay of 25 Kg each for refilling the pit to achive the desired resistance. (ii) copper strip will be laid below 60 cm from ground level and connected to test point through plinth protection (iii) Necessary cost of repair to plinth protection as per existing specification and connected plate and earth continuity conductor by providing 2 x brass nuts bolts and brazing of joints, bringing argiculture soil from out side defence land and cost of 3 x Bags of bentonite deemed to be included in the item rate. (iv) Contractor has to clear the side and disposed off the excavated soil from pit on completion of work. (v) Contractor has to submit test report of earthing after completing the earthing. (vi) Bentonite clay should be Conf to IS 6186: 1986. (vii) The cost of Copper strip of size 20X3 mm from top of earth plate upto 7.5 meter above ground level is deemed to be included in the unit rate of above item.and copper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured seperately. (viii). All the joints in copper strip and connection with Earth Plate to be welded through brazing and in addition by proving brass nut bolt and washer are deemed to be included in the unit rate. (viiii) Cost of brazing / welding and nut bolts are deemed to be included in the unit rate. (ix) Cost includes removal of excavated soil upto a distance of 100 mtrs.

Taking out old GI/aluminium/copper earth strip of any size and type in any height and any location as directed by Engineer In charge.

Refixing of existing serviceable copper / aluminium / GI strip taken out under item No. above here in before , on top of "V" type procelain insulator ( ceramic bus bar support insulator off white colour of suitable size for mounting of insulator) fixing strip on insulator with brass nuts and bolt ,screws, aluminium cleats etc.( Procelain insulator if replaced shall be measured separetly) duly straightened properly and fixing in neat dressed manner as directed by Engineer in charge. Note: (i) Proclelain insulator to be measured and paid seperately under relevant item

Supply and fixing copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm as earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed on "V" type porcelain insulator, 4 BM, heavy duty ( ceramic bus bar support insulator off white colour of suitable for mounting strip of 20 mm wide x 3 min thick) saddle to wall, buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 20 x 3 mm copper strip brazing to each joints and connected with by providing brass nut bolts and washer all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. Note : Insulators shall be provided on every 50 cm. (Minimum 2 x insulators to be provided in every 1 x metre of strip and rate of the same deemed to included in quoated rates)

Supply and fixing aluminium strip of size 25 x 3 mm as earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed on "V" type porcelain insulator, 4 BM, heavy duty ( ceramic bus bar support insulator off white colour of suitable for mounting strip of 20 mm wide x 3 min thick) saddle to wall, buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 25 x 3 mm aluminium strip brazing to each joints and connected with by providing brass nut bolts and washer all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. Note : Insulators shall be provided on every 50 cm. (Minimum 2 x insulators to be provided in every 1 x metre of strip and rate of the same deemed to included in quoated rates)

Material & labour for porcelin insulater 10 BM heavy duty (ceramic bus bar support insulator off white colour of min size of 50 mm width x 70 mm length with 50 mm width bus bar mounting base for fixing strip of width above 32 mm to 50 mm fixing on wall for supporting the copper strip including suitable size brass nuts and bolts, washers, drilling hole on wall to fix porcelain insulator , fixing insulator by providing steel screws etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.( Note : Cost of brass nut bolt and washer and steel screw for fixing insulator is deemed to be included in unit rate of item).

Material & labour for porcelin insulater 4 BM heavy duty (ceramic bus bar support insulator off white colour of min size of 36 mm width x 60 mm length with 36 mm width bus bar mounting base for fixing strip of width up to 32 mm fixing on wall for supporting the copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm and up to 32 mm width including suitable size brass nuts and bolts, washers, drilling hole on wall to fix porcelain insulator , fixing insulator by providing steel screws etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. ( Note : Cost of brass nut bolt and washer and steel screw for fixing insulator is deemed to be included in unit rate of item).

Supply & Fixing for thermoplastic(polycarbonate) junction box for test point without terminal block of dimension 130 x 180 x 77 mm IP 66 halogen free and weather proof including four hexagonal anticorrosive screws for out door installation complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make : Hensel- Cat part No. KF 0600 H or as equivalent in CAPE.

M&L in repair for Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75 x 75 x 25 mm drilled and screwed incl 3 Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screws for fixing strips to test point including necessary fixing arrangement to fix test point terminal block in junction box complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for carrying out brazing work of copper earth strip joints,of any size after removing the nut bolt, scraping and cleaning the strip surface all as specified by Engr-in-charge.

Supply & Fixing hexagonal head brass nut bolt and washer (Bolt size not less than 30 mm long from under side of head to end and not less than 6 mm dia) including taking out old rusted, corroded nut, bolt,washers as specified and directed by Engr-in -charge.

Earth pit shall be of size 600 x 600 x 600 mm embedded in ground below GL 150 mm with openable PCC cover including GI funnel and wire mesh , including painting the complete pit all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Material & labour GI tubing medium grade 40mm bore for fixing the air termination rods on top of pipe with necessary clamping arrangement and other fitting required .The GI pipe shall be embedded in PCC bed blocks and tied with Stainless steel wire rope for free stand alone of pipe compete all as directed. Note:- PCC bed blocks shall be measured and paid saperately under relevant item of BOQ.

M & L for PCC M-10 (Nominal mix) using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete for foundation concrete in poles/stays.with and including demolition of cement concrete in any description complete all as specified and directed

Material & labour in repairs PVC insulated, Single core flexible copper conductor cable, 1100 Volt, Conf to IS 694, ISI marked of size 70 Sqmm including fixing it on tower of 40 mtr height by providing GI strip clamp and also by using Heavy duty PVC tye from LA at top of tower to earthing pit on ground, and any other locations like on wall or laying on floor by providing saddles, including connecting terminals by providing copper lugs, brass nut and bolt with washer of suitable size as per site requirement to connect the cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply and fixing Brass Copper lightening arrester 9.2 mm diameter and 915 mm in length with 5 spikes and base plate 8.5 x 8.5 cm for building protection coverage of 45 degress from the top point 1.85 m all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Supply & fixing ESE LA (Early streamer emission lightning arrester) with 79 meter radius at 5 meter height with level 1 protection level as per NFC 17 192 : 2011 through OEM service complete all as specified and as directed. Make - True Power ATS TP-3 or equivalent. Note : CPRI type test certificate to be provided along with material, installation is to be done through OEM representative.

Supply & fixing GI Mast of size 50 mm dia with guy wire of 5 meter length along with all accessories like clamps, saddles, holding arrangements to fix the mast to the shed/structure at highest point such that the Air terminal at any height of structure complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Advance encapsulated compound based Chemical earthing CPRI tesed maintenance free , pipein -pipe technology upgraded (Zinc & Alloy coated). , Zinc & Alloy coated (80 -100) microns with pure zinc (99.9%) & Alloy coating (200-250)microns.Earthing system conforming IS 3034. The outer and inner pipe should be 76.2mm and 41.9mm dia respectively of 3 mtrs long zinc coated with with additional special alloy coating 300mm on top side for additional protection of the terminal . The annular space between the pipes to be filled up with Compactfill (CF) (Crystalline Conductive) mixture which should be machine pressed in the pipes not disintegrate or collapse when outer pipe corrodes. The inner pipe should be extended with terminals for connectivity.The job includes borring of 300 mm dia bore upto 4 meter depth in any typr of soil starta / hard rock for placeing ,lowering the pipe in pipe earth electrode,filling of pure conductolite back filling compound (BFC Conductolite ) having excellent moisture retaining capacityminimum 4 bags of 25 KG per pit per unit in 300 mm around the electrode . Refiiling the pit with agriculture soil free from stones, to be bring from out side defence land as to get less resistance value. The BFC should be eco friendly it should not contain envernmently hazardous material/metal having ROHS certification from NABL accredited lab.The earth pit should be provided with a FRP earth pit cover for protection and safe guard of terminals. The material of earth electrode should have good electrical conductivity & anti corrosion property in wide range of soil conditions. The job also include M & L for in PCC(1:3:6) type C-1 around the FRP cover for support and foundation and colouring the PCC work with desired colourcomplete all as specified and directed. (iv) Contractor has to fill/ pure back fill compound 300 mm all around the earth electrode up to full depth of pit.(v) Copper strip will be laid below 20 cm from ground level and connecting the test point through plinth protection using HDPE pipe for protection, necessary cost of repair to plinth protection and brazing and welding deemed to be included in the item.(vi) Contarctor shall submit the test report of earthing after satisfactorily completion. (vii) Cost includes disposal of excavated soil from site and clear the site before completion of work at that location.(viii) Contractor has to bring agriculture soil from outside defence land and refill the earth pit. Cost of soil is deemed to be included in the item rate (ix)he cost of Copper strip of size 25X3 mm from top of earth plate upto 7.5 meter above ground level is deemed to be included in the unit rate of above item.and copper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured seperately.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in any kind of soil ,complete all as specified and directed Note : Manual excavation to be done. During excavation if any damage occured to existing cable any type/ water pipe line, it will be contractor responsibilty to get it repair and make functional by providing jointing kit etc without any extra cost. Contractor has to repair it within 24 hrs so that essential service can not be effected due to such damage.If contractor fails to repair it within 24 hrs penalty @ Rs 500/-per hour will be charged to contractor. In this GE decision will be final.

Returning filling in soft/loose soil, including, spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated material from site not exceeding 50 mtrs from starting point and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified and directed.

M&L providing sand cushioning with a layer of clean, dry, fine sand for protection of electric cable laid in trenches/ducts, punned down to desired thickness complete all as specified and directed. (Note: For payment purposes only punned down thickness of sand shall be measured )

M & L for laying old size sub class ‘B’ brick for PVC/ XLPE under ground cable protection in trench, layed in the manner that width of brick to be peperndicular to the axis of cable , over LT under ground cable
