REPAIR TO SEEPAGE, LEAKAGE, CHAJJA, PLATERING AND MISC ITEMS OF MD AND OTM ACCN AND REPAIR MAINT OF CERTAIN E/M INSTALLATIONS, ROLLING SHUTTERS, COLLAPSIBLE GATE AND JOINERIES WORKS AT NMRL AMBERNATH

Taking down existing roof treatment in any position and mechanical cleaning of surfaces to make it free from any bitumenous felt including backing off the cement plastered of any thickness in roofs (other than ground floors), beams, chajjas, staircase, similar suspended work etc surface by roughening, washing down with water and removing the rubbish to a distance exceeding 250 metre and n. exc 500metre deposited where directed complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolishing cement concrete nominal concrete 1:4:8 or leaner mix manually by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead complete all as specified and directed of Engineer - in - charge.

Material and labour for Cutting cracks to V section in existing roof or terrace, cleaning out and filling solidy with a coat of approved Crack Filler complete all as per manufacturers instructions.

Material and labour for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in levelling / padding course on roof slab, chajjas, projections on similar surfaces existing with slope, kerbs, rounded or chamfered edges, making the surface even and smooth without using extra cement, including using liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: supply of Integral water proofing compound will measured and paid seperately.

Material and labour for 75mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded aggregate) at the junction of all horizontal and vertical surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix 3mm thick APP pre-fabricated membrane with and including non woven polyester matt central core of 160 gsm (min) impregnated and coated on both sides with and including layer of APP modified bitumen and finished with and including micro-perforated heat fusible polythene film on both surfaces over and including 0.3 litres / Sqm bituminous primer confrming to IS-3384 and applying a coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 grade @1.2 Kg/Sqm over the membrane and finally applying two coats of aluminium paint @ 0.10 litres / Sqm each layer complete as per manufacturer's instructions and all as specified and directed . The weight of APP membrane shall not be less than 3.0 Kg / Sqm and laid over and including primed surface by using LPG/Butane torch and apply uniform pressure with roller. The overlap of membrane shall be 100 mm on sides and 150mm on end laps and complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (i) The work shall be executed only through authorised applicator of manufacturer as approval by GE. (ii) Contractor has to submit guarantee of treatment for 10 Years.

Material and labour for applying water based polyurethane modified dispersion (single component, cold applied, non toxic, VOC complaint) in 03 coats including 01 coat of primer of same material after dilution of water at 50% of specific primer matching same material as per manufacturer specification and as directed by Garrison Engineer/Engr-in-Charge. Notes : For Above items Sr No 132 1. Properties of Polyurethane based chemical shall confirm to following Technical Parameters:- (i) Highly Elastic (ii) UV Resistance. (iii) Adhesion to concrete >1N/Sqmm. (iv) Tensile strength should not be less than 2.0 N/sq.mm for free film. (v) Elongation should not be less than 300% (vi) Solid content by weight should not less than 60%. (vii) Air/water permeability BSEN 12390 AT 5 bar -72 hours should be NIL and minimum dry film thickness of water proofing membrane must be 1.0mm. (viii) Accelerated weathering (ASTM453) should Pass 1000 hours. (ix) Reaction to fire – non inflammable. 2. The work shall be executed thru auth applicator of manufecturer only. Contarctor has to provide manufecturer test certificates for the above mentioned technical parameters and PVs. 3. The conractor has to submit the guarntee for 10 Years against the water proofing treatment.

Material and labour for damp proof waterproofing treatment on external walls as per following procedure on old plastered surface or newly plastered surface complete all as specified and directed. (a) . Pre Painting Steps Surface shall be prepared be free from any loose paint, dust or grease. Growth of Fungus, Algae or moss and cleaned by wire brushing and water. If the Underlying surface exhibits chalkiness, in spite of surface cleaning then use Asian Paints Smartcare Primero. For filling cracks up to 3mm use Asian Paints Crack Seal.* In case of dents and holes use Asian Paints Trucare wall putty suprema. (b). Paint Applicaton Process 1 Coat of Smartcare Damproof (Undiluted)*1 st Coat of Apex Ultima Suprema (40% Dilution)*2nd Coat of Apex Ultima Suprema (40% Dilution) Complete all as specified as per manufacturer's instruction and Complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for complete removal of existing treatment Cutting out cracks to V section in existing plastered walls, cleaning out, wetting, grouting with suitable crack Filling agent like Dr Fixit Crack X or Dr Fixit Crack X shrink Free or Dr Fixit Pidicrete URP with respect to the width of crack complete all as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Disconnecting existing water tanks of capacity exc. 250 ltr and n. exc 500 ltr, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position complete all as specified & as directed.
