Supply installation, testing and commissioning including taking down of electrically driven high pressure centrifugal fire hydrant pump suitable for automatic operation comprising of the following :-

(a) Horizontal end suction centrifugal pump, suitable for operation on 415 volts ± 6%, 3 phase 50 Hz AC supply. The installation shall be complete with flexible coupling and coupling guard as required. Fire pump shall have C.I. casing, CS diffusers, bronze impeller (hard finished and dynamically balanced ) and stainless steel shaft with mechanical seal, capable for delivering 2850 LPM at outlet head of 70m and confarming to IS-12469 : 1988.

Pump shall be capable of furnishing not less than 150% of rated capacity at a head of not less than 65 % of the rated head

(b) Squirrel cage induction motor, TEFC type suitable for operation on 415 volts, 3 phase 50 Hz AC supply, for the above pump with synchronous speed of 1450 RPM, conforming to IP 55 protection & class F insulation.

(c) Common base plate for pump and motor as per OEM recommendation

(d) Suitable cement concrete foundation duly plastered with anti vibration pad complete as per OEM recommendation

Supply installation testing and commissioning including taking down of Diesel Engine driven fire pump suitable for automatic operation comprising of the following:

(a) Horizontal end suction centrifugal pump, suitable for operation on 415 volts ± 6%, 3 phase 50 Hz AC supply. The installation shall be complete with flexible coupling and coupling guard as required. Fire pump shall have C.I. casing, B855CS diffusers, bronze impeller (hard finished and dynamically balanced) and S.S. (304) shaft with mechanical seal, capable for delivering 2850 LPM at outlet head of 70 m.

Pump shall be capable of furnishing not less than 150% of rated capacity at a head of not less than 65 % of the rated head

(b) Heat exchanger cooled (secondary cooling) diesel engine of capacity not less than 100 KVA, speed 1500 RPM suitable for the above pump with automatic starting mechanism and other accessories including fuel tank (fabricated from 3mm MS sheet, painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer) of capacity adequate to sustain pump operation of 8 hours continuous working. The tank shall be fitted with Magnetic oil level indicator.

(c) Common base plate for (a) and (b) of MS

(d) Suitable cement concrete foundation duly plastered with anti vibration pad complete as required.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning including taking down of jockey pump comprising of the following :-

(a) Vertical, multistage Centrifugal pump suitable for operation and 415 volts + 6%, 3 Phase, 50 Hz AC supply. The installation shall be complete with flexible coupling, coupling guard pressure gauge suitable for delivering not less than 180 LPM at a head of 70 mtr.

(b) Squirrel cage induction motor TEFC type for operation on 415 volts, 3 Phase, 50 Hz, AC supply for the above pump with a synchronous speed of 2900 RPM, suitable for automatic operations.

(c) Common base frame for pump & motor.

(d) Suitable cement concrete foundation duly plastered with anti vibration pad complete as required.

Diesel Engine Control

Control for diesel engine 100 KVA comprising: -

Indication lamp for High/ low lub oil pressure, high water temp and engine ON indication

Interlocking between electrical & diesel pump set of control system for all pumps with manual resetting.

Pressure switches and its wiring for automatic operation of pumps.

Sensors & water level indicator and switch for tripping the electric pump/ stopping diesel engine in case of low water level = 1 set

Supply laying jointing and testing in repair of following sizes of C class heavy duty MS ERW pipe conforming to IS:3589 including anti corrosive treatment with 2 coat of bitumnous paints (thickness not less 4 mm thick) complete with bends, tees, elbows, flanged joints, reducers etc complete with welding, pressure testing ( Earth work shall be measured and paid separately).

Supply and lay MS ERW Pipes confirming to IS 3589, with all necessary fittings i.e. bends, tees, reducers, flanges (pipe to pipe connection wherever required & pipe to landing valve/FB inlet connection), gasket or any other fittings required for pipe connections. The pipes shall be painted with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over coat of zinc chromate primer on exposed surface or polythene/rubber based wrapping coating on undergound surface, Galvanized, supports at standard spacing, anchor fasteners, bolts, nuts, clamps, rails "U" & threaded bolt, Including cutting, Welding, fixing in / on walls, trench, ceiling by using the supporTS. anticorrosive treatment wit coaltar/asphalt tape and painting with two or more coats of synthetic ename paint of post office red colour as per IS-10221. etc. The quoted rate shall also include for chasing / chipping walls, Floors, making bore holes in walls / floor and making them good with Non shrink filler material in bore holes / finished in cement mortar etc. complete all as specified.

Supplying & fixing, testing and commissioning including taking down in repair of 3 way fire brigade connection of CI body with 3 nos gun metal male instantaneous inlet coupling complete with rubber blank caps & chains as required for 100mm dia MS pipe connection, confirming to IS:904 as required.

Supplying and fixing including taking down Air cushion tank (air vessel) 250 mm dia x 1200 mm high with dished-top, made of minimum 8 mm thick MS plate for dish and complete with 20 mm dia brass air valve (ball type) 20mm dia, stop valve pressure gauge with brass stop cock, nipple, tees, elbows and all accessories as required.

Supplying and fixing including taking down in repair first aid hose reel drum mounted on wall etc as required.

Removing surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling of soil obtained from excavation including spreading , levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair bulb type Gun metal springler head pendent type set to operate at 68 degree Celcius including all fitting ,clamp,structural steel supports complete complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and fixing in repair of old rusted steel structure such as MS angle iron chennel etc including welding etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair mild steel class C Pipe 150 mm dia for Exhaust Pipe of Diesel Engine including one layer of 110 mm thick asbestos rope insulation and including all fitting ,clamp,structural steel supports complete

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m deep in getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling including leveling,watering and well ramming soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick all as directed by Engineer-in- Charge.

Removing the excavated materials not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting level.

Supply, fixing and testing including taking down in replacement of unserviceable hose reel drum with swinging hose reel 30 mtr comprising of ply rubber hose of size 20mm(3/4"), 15m long tested with 25kg/cm²/350 psi bursting pressure with wall mounted mild steel pressel reel with 180º angle swinging with non-jamming contolling handle which shall stay at the ON/OFF position as set, wall bracket with 'U' shaped reel carrier made of CI of post office red colour finish in and including gun metal noel and shut off ball valve, heavy duty confirming to IS: 884 and ISI marked complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing 6 Kg capacity Multipurpose dry chemical powder (ABC) type (IS-15683) fire extinguishers consisting of welded MS cylindrical body fabricated from 1.6 mm MS sheet internally protected with anticorrosive treatment and hydraucally tested. Extinguisher externally painted with red enamel and fixed to wall with bracket complete with initial filled/charged all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing CO2 type fire extinguisher of 3 Kg capacity with steel cylinder with a discharge valve and confirming to IS : 15683. Extinguisher shall be painted with red enamel apint and fixed to wall with bracket complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing 9 Ltr capacity Foam type fire extinguishers confirming to IS-15683 consisting of welded MS cylindrical body fabricated from 1.6 mm MS sheet internally protected with anticorrosive treatment and hydraucally tested. Extinguisher externally painted with red enamel and fixed to wall with bracket complete with initial filled/charged all as specified and as directed.

M & L forCutting the hard standings and excavating in trenches across the road with a size not exceeding 0.45 m wide and 0.6 m depth for laying cable including making good the excavated portion by means of PCC 1:3:6, type C1 matching with the surroundings complete all as specified and as directed.

Boring of holes underneath road / foot path / hardstanding / culvert etc by using trencless technology by ultra sound technic and necessary machinery suitable for easily drawing of MS Pipe upto 200mm dia complete all as specified and directed. Note: Length of GI shall only be measured and paid and necessary extra length which is required to bore shall be included in rate quoted.
