REPAIR/ MAINTENANCE OF LIFT (AMC) AT AF STN CHANDIGARH UNDER GE (AF) CHANDIGARH

M&L for comprehensive systematic maintenance and periodical inspection service of passenger lift of capacity 8 persons (installed at ATC building) by the trained and qualified employee of M/s Thyssen Krupp Elevators India (OEM) to provide routine maintenance, examination, lubrication service according to recommended schedule of maintenance/ service by the Thyssen Krupp Elevator for once in a month during working hours (i.e. Monday to Saturday 0900 hours t0 1700 hours) except scheduled holidays to furnish the necessary lubricants and cleaning materials including the replacement of hydraulic fluid and machine gear oil of suitable grade etc. in addition to attend for annual government inspection complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Note for item No. 1.00:- The contractor will replace/ repair the parts/ components free of cost (through the OEM i.e Thyssen Krupp Elevator only)related to the normal working of the lift by replacing the defective spare parts (except spare parts mentioned SI item No 3 to 7 here in after) to keep the lift in serviceable condition as required at the time of inspection cum maintenance and for smooth functioning of lift all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of the same and no extra payment will be made on this account. However, spare parts listed at srl item No 3 to 7 after shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for comprehensive systematic maintenance and periodical inspection service of passenger lift of capacity 10 persons (installed at SRE building) by the trained and qualified employee of M/s Johnson Elevator (OEM) to provide routine maintenance, examination, lubrication service according to recommended schedule of maintenance/ service by the John Elevator for once in a month during working hours (i.e. Monday to Saturday 0900 hours t0 1700 hours) except scheduled holidays to furnish the necessary lubricants and cleaning materials including the replacement of hydraulic fluid and machine gear oil of suitable grade etc. in addition to attend for annual government inspection complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Note for item No. 2.00:- The contractor will replace/ repair the parts/ components free of cost (through the OEM i.e Johnson Elevator only) related to the normal working of the lift by replacing the defective spare parts (expert spare parts mentioned in SI item No 8.01 to 8.07 & 8.32 to 8.33 here in after) to keep the lift in serviceable condition as required at the time of inspection cum maintenance and for smooth functioning of Lift all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of the same and no extra payment will be made on this account.However, Spare parts listed at SI item No 8.01 to 8.09 after shall be measured and paid separately.

Notes for Ser item No 1&2

(a) The contractor shall be submit the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on stamp paper duly notarized with orginal Equipments Manufacturer (OEM) as applicable as per specification to the effect and maintanance shall be carried out under OEM overall supervision and direction/ instruction within 15 days of acceptance of tender, failing which the contract will be liable to be cancelled under condition 54 of IAFW-2249. (b) The contractor shall attend and rectify the complaint/ fault within 24 hours as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge and users rep and make the lift serviceable. Complaint will be given telephonically or through SMS. Contractor will provide his or his supervisor's moblie no for this purpose. A penalty of Rs 200/- per hour will be leived upon the contractor for not attending the complaint after expiry of 24 hours period. (c) Bidders are advised to inspect site of work and condition of lift before quoting their rates in consultation with concern executives/ OEMs. Nothing extra shall be admissible at any bealated stage. (d) Original service report for each lift dully signed by OEM'S technician and user's rep shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge.

(e) Make and model of part to be replaced shall be as existing at site or as per OEM recommendation. (f) The cost of transportation and other necessary equipments shall be arranged/brought by contractor in this effect.
