Demolition of Cement Concrete (Unreinforced Concrete) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete and removing the unserviceable rubbish outside the MOD land and deposited where permitted by the State Govt Authority complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry built in cement mortar including all quions arches, pillar or any other description and in any situation etc complete and removing the unserviceable rubbish outside the MOD land and deposited where permitted by the State Govt Authority complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) and (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) in any position not otherwise specificaly provided for complete and removing the unserviceable rubbish outside the MOD land and deposited where permitted by the State Govt Authority complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down Cement plaster or cement lime plaster on brick or stone walls including raking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 metre wide for laying of cables, pipes, foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits,manholes, pier holes, etc.not exc 10 sq metre on plan and getting out including dressing/trimming sides and levelling/ grading and ramming of bottom of excavation complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in excavation in all kinds of soils by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 metre in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 metre,including getting out the excavated soil complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Before taking up the excavation work, the mapping of the site is to be carried out by hiring a ground penetrating radar or any other machine to find out the underground existing cable, pipe line etc. so that the damage to existing power cable, communication cable, water/sewer pipes shall be avoided during excavation work. The cost of hiring of machine for mapping of the area to be excavated shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each layer, complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing excavated surplus soil obtained from excavation to a distance not exceeding 250 metre and deposting where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Concrete bed to drain pipes of 110 mm bore including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested in PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Concrete bed to drain pipes of 150 mm bore including forming cradles in PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Concrete bed to drain pipes of 200 mm bore including forming cradles in PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Concrete bed to drain pipes of 250 mm bore including forming cradles in PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing at site, lowering , laying, aligning, fixing in position and jointing in trenches at all level/ depths, ISI marked Asbestos cement pipes 150 mm dia class 1 (Mazza process) pipes for sewer and drainage application as per IS 6908-1991 (amended upto date with AC coupler joints sealed with rubber gaskets (EPDM/SBR) as per IS 5382 complete, including cost of all materials, labour, jointing, water sectional hydro testing (including cost and covenyance of water to site for testing) etc laid in trenches on concrete bed to level /gradient, jointing with appropriate class fittings as per manufacturer's instructions including jointing accessories and fittings complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Transporting to site, lowering , laying, aligning, fixing in position and jointing in trenches at all level/ depths, ISI marked Asbestos cement pipes 150 mm dia class 1 (Mazza process) pipes for sewer and drainage application as per IS 6908-1991 (amended upto date with AC coupler joints sealed with rubber gaskets (EPDM/SBR) as per IS 5382 complete, including cost of all materials except cost of asbestos cement pipes 150 mm dia, labour, jointing, water sectional hydro testing (including cost and covenyance of water to site for testing) etc laid in trenches on concrete bed to level /gradient, jointing with appropriate class fittings as per manufacturer's instructions including jointing accessories and fittings complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Asbestos cement pipe 150 mm dia class 1 (Mazza process) shall be issued under Sch 'B' free for fixing only.

PCC 1:4:8 type D2, using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, aligning, Installation & testing of Precast circular reinforced concrete (M-40) manholes complete with and including 90 mm thick S.F.R.C. cover (heavy duty, HD-20 grade designation),conical top (Top portion) of internal dia 0.56 metre at top,internal dia 1.0 metre at bottom,0.805 metre internal depth and bottom solid cylindrical portion 0.30 metre deep, with wall thickness of 200mm conforming to I.S. 12592, collector for AC pipe inlet 150/200, AC pipe outlet 150/200 pipes & future pipes connecting arrangements all as specified and shown on drawing no.SK-1054 Sheet 1/3 . The manholes shall be precast with M-40 concrete grade building in with end caps where shown or necessary, including cost of all materials, labours, T&P including providing the SFRC footrest as specified and shown on drawing suitable to with stand the bend test and chemical resistance test as per specifications and having manufactures permanent identification marks to be visible even after fixing including fixing in manhole complete all as directed and specified.

All as per item No. 19 here-in-before but for circular precast reinforced manhole rings only for increase of manhole depth more than 0.805 metre and upto 2.0 metre complete including SFRC footrest required as per the height all as directed and specified. Note:- Various manholes of different depths are to be provided at site as per site requirement. The tenderer shall quote rates for depth beyond 0.805 metre top portion for this item. Actual payment shall be made based on actual depth provided at site for increse in depth or for each manhole beyond 0.805 metre depth top portion. Tenderer should note this aspect while quoting rates against this item.

All as per item No. 19 here-in-before but having conical top (Top portion) of internal dia 0.56 metre at top,internal dia 1.2 metre at bottom,1.00 metre internal depth and bottom solid cylindrical portion 0.30 metre deep conforming to I.S. 12592 with wall thickness of 200mm all as per drawing No. SK-1054 Sheet 2/3.

All as per item No. 21 here-in-before but for circular precast reinforced manhole rings only for increase of manhole depth more than 1.0 metre and upto 2.8 metre complete including SFRC footrest required as per the height all as directed and specified. Note:- Various manholes of different depths are to be provided at site as per site requirement .The tenderer shall quote rates for depth beyond 1.0 metre top portion for this item. Actual payment shall be made based on actual depth provided at site for increase in depth for each manhole beyond 1.0 metre depth top portion. Tenderer should note this aspect while quoting rates against this item.

All as per item No. 23 here-in-before but for circular precast reinforced manhole rings only for increase of manhole depth more than 1.3 metre and upto 4.2 metre complete including SFRC footrest required as per the height all as directed and specified. Note:- Various manholes of different depths are to be provided at site as per site requirement .The tenderer shall quote rates for depth beyond 1.3 metre top portion for this item. Actual payment shall be made based on actual depth provided at site for increase in depth for each manhole beyond 1.3 metre depth top portion. Tenderer should note this aspect while quoting rates against this item.

Cutting into existing RCC / Brick masonary manholes for connecting new drains of 150mm dia, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 mix type B-1, using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate smooth finished and reforming benching as required for 150mm bore pipe complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting into existing RCC / Brick masonary manholes for connecting new drains of 200 mm dia, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 mix type B-1, using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate, smooth finished and reforming benching as required for 200 mm bore pipe complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting into existing RCC / Brick masonary manholes for connecting new drains of 250 mm dia, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 mix type B-1, using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate, smooth finished and reforming benching as required for 250 mm bore pipe complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cutting existing roadwork for laying of sewage line/pipeline and making good including providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern over 150mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded aggregates, over compacted road metal retrieved during cutting of road over the necessary earth filling etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate) as in surface channels and drains complete including use of necessary formwork (straight or curved, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

50 mm thick Cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate) as in flooring and similar works complete including finishing surfaces of concrete topping even and fair (without using extra cement all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Forming Construction joint 30mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound Grade 'A' including any extra form work if required to form joints etc complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Framed work such as grills,gratings, etc.. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted,or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc.,of required strength, thickness & size/shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2,using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate 75 mm thick as in sub base, floors, pavings etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

110mm dia PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints or jointed with solvent cement joint, laid in trenches or in floors,type B, conforming to IS 13592-1992 , jointed & tested including taking out/down old pipes complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note - Rubber rings for pipes and fittings shall conform to IS 5382-1985.

110mm dia PVC (SWR) bends any radius fixed in repairs with rubber ring joints or jointed with solvent cement joint, laid in trenches or in floors,type B, conforming to IS 13592-1992 , jointed & tested including making good the disturbed surface complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Preparation of new or previously untreated surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement based paint on plastered/unplastered surfaces complete all as specified and directed

Brick work using using burnt clay bricks of sub class 'B' class designation 15 straight or curved on plan exceeding 6.00 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) including corbellings etc, raking out joints internally and also externally (above G.L.) for plastering and externally joints pointed flush below ground level in the same mortar as the work proceeds complete all as specified.

Rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4, on brick or concrete surfaces mixed with ISI marked water proofing compound, including finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement, complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: Integral water proofing liquid shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound ISI marked complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in plinth courses, string courses,lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating including necessary form work complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete.complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Precast cement concrete (Grade M-30) manhole cover SFRC (steel fibre reinforced cover) factory made including suitable precast RCC frame as per manufacturer's instructions, heavy duty as approved by GE of size 450 x 450 x 75 mm thick with and including 1.25 mm thick mild steel strip on all the four edges heavy duty,RCC frame set in cement mortar 1:4 and similar articles complete as per site requirement, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Precast cement concrete (Grade M-30) manhole cover SFRC (steel fibre reinforced cover) factory made including suitable precast RCC frame as per manufacturer's instructions, heavy duty as approved by GE of size 900 x 900 x 100 mm thick with and including 1.25 mm thick mild steel strip on all the four edges heavy duty,RCC frame set in cement mortar 1:4 and similar articles complete as per site requirement, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Precast cement concrete (Grade M-30 with both way reinforcement ) drain cover SFRC (steel fibre reinforced cover) factory made as per manufacturer's instructions, heavy duty as approved by GE of size 600 x 1200 x 100 mm thick with and including 1.25 mm thick mild steel strip on all the four edges heavy duty, complete as per site requirement, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Precast cement concrete (Grade M-30 with both way reinforcement ) drain cover SFRC (steel fibre reinforced cover) factory made as per manufacturer's instructions, heavy duty as approved by GE of size 600 x 1500 x 100 mm thick with and including 1.25 mm thick mild steel strip on all the four edges heavy duty, complete as per site requirement, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Precast cement concrete (Grade M-30 with both way reinforcement ) drain cover SFRC (steel fibre reinforced cover) factory made as per manufacturer's instructions, heavy duty as approved by GE as in cover slabs of size 600 x 1700 x 100 mm thick with and including 1.25 mm thick mild steel strip on all the four edges heavy duty, complete as per site requirement, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning and removing of blockage from manholes of any size and upto 1.5 metre depth with combined high pressure water jetting cum suction (vaccum) tupe machine mounted on LCV/HCV and having facilties of high pressure shaped nozzle pipe including removing the soil, roots,mud/sludge or any other materials from the manholes in working/running condition and flushing the entire stretch with water to make the stretch clean and functional. removal & depositing any type of sludge/debries to excavated area, spreading necessary insecticides where sludge is deposited all as specified by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for item 48 to 50 : This work involves working in foul conditions and foul situations.The sewage water/sludge etc shall be thrown outside MOD land at suitable place.

NOTE- : (i) Excavation and earth work for laying of Asbestos cement pipes/NP Pipes/Cutting of manholes, roads , paths, walkways and any other work executed under this contract shall be carried out with utmost care and with all safety gears in place after mapping of the area and obtaining permission from the respective authority. Any damage done while execution to any existing structure, pipe line, electric or communication cable shall be made good by the contractor exactly as per the existing specifications at his own cost. In case of delay caused by the contractor in making good the damage is more than 4 hrs,requisite repair work will be carried out by the deptt through some other agency and the cost of repairs will be recovered from the contractor. Mapping survey shall be done in the presence of Engr-in- Charge and representative of GE (Utility) Chandimandir and submitted to GE for approval before execution of excavation work. BAILING, PUMPING OUT OF WATER,TIMBERING, PLANKING, STRUTTING, SAND CUSHIONING/LEAN CONCRETE FOR STABLIZING OF MUD STRATA if required shall be carried out .The rates quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be inclusive of all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.To avoid any accident at site after excavation of work, contractor shall make arrangement of safety gears, barricades immediately as directed by Engr - in -Charge. (ii) Demolition of old manholes to be carried out after functionality of new manholes and sewage line.Old manholes to be filled with excavated earth. (iii) Precast manhole Manufacturer shall have minimum three years manufacturing experience.Make shall be approved by BOO's convened by CWE for precast manholes and SFRC manhole/Drain cover
